Man, I looked at the volume about 13 mins ago and i could have sworn that it showed only 3,00 shares traded. I look back at it now and I see over 12,000,000. This thing seems to move in large blocks or nothing. Is my display correct? If anyone could let me know if my eyes decieved me please let me know.
TIA,
Nez
Josh,
I posted last, after selling for a much smaller profit realized than if I would not have been greedy during the last run. I bought back during the following dip @ .005.
I may have put a limit to sell again @ .006 and made a greater portion back but after the last time , which was far from th first I traded poorly due to either greed, panic, anxiety or being infected by other peoples negitive posts, all which were opinion.
I am still holding as I have done considerably more DD since my last round trip and what I seem to see here is far more consistancy and positive points than negitive with ATWT.
The real thing that keeps me here and unwilling to sell and end up possibly not be able to get in when I want to, is the similarity to past mistakes I have made. I always missed a boat due to negitive OPINIONS rather than negitive DD or as close as one can come to DD with PK stocks.
There is a good product, there is a good start for the buisness and an obvious need in the market for the product as well as incentive resulting from peoples desire to save on insurance and lawsuits.
The "Readt Light" (I think that was the name) sold cabillions of units simply by being on the QVC channel. Look what it has produced since. Look at the simple "electric socket insert and simple plastic ckitchen and bathroom cabinet door locks, both which gave birth to the high tech with simple items market of "Baby Proofing."
The money made in this market is enourmous if the money my wife and I have spent "Child proofing" houses, for all five of our kids and will continue to do so as our youngest has Downs, is compaaritive to other parents expenditures, I know there was vast monies made.
I am friends with a person connected with finding products for the QVC channel and according to her if they were approached by ATWT, they would have them on in a heart beat. I heard somewhere that an item called the Clapper" did all right too.
I'm am not hinting that ATWT will be on QVC or that I know the company that made the items I mentioned, I am just trying to make the point that with this one there are many of the same positive attributes seen in the other products that are also seen in ATWT.
I know we will be investing in the system on our next car as our youngest will be a saftey issue by then. If we see value in the product as well as the equity, I feel we will benifit from patiently holding and continueing to search for info. than listen to negitive opinions.
It's gonna happen and the drop in pps only reflects people trading on emotion driven greed, rather than on wise, disiplined common sense.
I may be wrong but we are going to be wrong and the pps stays low, it won't be due to shortcomings with the product but will rather be due to traders having a negitive impact due to there fear based greed. I am willing to be wrong instead of missing what I am convinced will be another simle wonder success that pasted me by.
JMO,
Nez
Fridge,
i screwed the pooch today and sold for a much smaller profit than I might have had I listened to my common sense and not become greedy. I also made a post today communicating some of the past Friday aiting for news experiences I've had and when you get right down to it, there is nothng at work here but experienced trading and buisness construction. My loses are always due to my own lack of self control regardless of how I justify my actions.
The Person making statements as you mentioned is no different that myself but this person seems to have some problems with personal responsibiliy as well as interpersonal activity. It is people like him, not thinking twice about the effects of their words, that make the pinkey market so unusual. You don't need a buisness degree to trade at this level but a few degrees in psychology, psychiatry and human behaviour.
William
Folks,
The reason I got out when I did is because I have been burned so many times on fridays, when waiting for what should be significant news, only to have people with really deep pockets (I guess) dump towards the end of the day. I don't have enough experience to know for certian if this is a rule of thumb, that is, not holding pinks over the weekend, but if in the waiting mode, it seems that way. Atwt made us back a nice profit and I for one am going to keep the Powder Dry as some say, because in addition to getting burned on Fridays wait period, somehow Monday rolls around and the stock drops in direct opposition to all expectations. I don't understand this type of activity and this is why I got out I believe in the product but not increasing A/S after saying you wouldn't. I have a suspicion that has something to do with the events. If anyone can pick my observations apart I would appreciate it. We can use all the input we can get about this Friday thing I've tried to discribe. TIA,
Nez
See ya, folks, I'm sticking with the profits. I hate fridays especially when the markets are not happy. Its been fun,
Nez
dmondial,
makes sense and thanks for your thoughts.
Nez
Will somebody PLEASE tell me that there are not sales going through for 5000 shares so that the PPS drops from .009 to .0085 and back again? To me this looks insane, I need to understand. TIA,
Nez
IF PEOPLE DON"T PANIC AND SELL< WE WIN AND THEY LOSE (MM)? Nez
No, leave them on, they seem to be good luck and I don't live with you!
Nez
stevo, if they need sharesthat bad, they can have SOME of mine for .015! Wanna play, gotta pay.
Nez
Thanks, Brikk.
I have a question for those in the know. I have seen 4-5 trades go through @ .007 and the ask is unaffected, stays @ .oo7. then a trade for 500 goes through @ .0065 and that drops the ask. What are the mechanisms at work here? What causes the ask to go up? I am guessing many have trades in above the .007 ask but this doesn't affect it. Can anyone tell me what is going on? My only speculation is that the MMs are in control but then that flys in the face of what I have been told in the past whaich is the MMs make their money on the spread. Obviously I am new (although not to this stock, just haven't been watching for long.
TIA,
Nez
If I'm not mistaken, this site was posted in the past year here on the board. It may be a start for what appears to be many new folks, exploring Xcel......

Don't use the pointed brackets at the begining and end. I checked the address and it is accurate. Nez
Pupp,
Last night on c-span (?) I watched Greenspan speak about the need to get off of oil. (paraphrasing) guess what he mentioned briefly? You got it, ethanol. He did so if I remember correctly, in the same sentence with LPG! He also referred, after fumbling for the words, to ethanol from cellulous, specifically switch grass, as having the same level of potential that LPG has to get us off of gas and on to alternative fuels. Anyone else see it? I only caught bits and pieces. It was bedtime for the kids and it gets crazy around here at that time. Nez
Willy, start with "Investopedia." Then checkout pink sheets, I can't recall but when i began I had the same questions and I know i learned things between the two. You are building a string of knowledge. You might not find exactly what your're looking for but you will find info you'll need in the future at those places. It's a start. Nez
Why don't the individual, civilian holders (how many can there be with 153 in existance) agree to not sell until say at least .02? Then we just sit back and watch the MM's swap paper or electrons. At least that would send a message of cohesion amongst the core Longs. Nez (looks like that may be happening anyway but at .019)
Thanks pup. Nez
Anyone see what the lowest ask is? Nez
It makes me feel a bit better when I read things like Pupp posted earlier, to know that at least the investors of XLPI including my wife and I, are at least trying to make a difference by supporting what we feel is a legitimate, viable and timely alternative. Instead of just gripping, at least people can't say we are not trying to do something and we are doing so by "putting our money where our mouths are." It just so happens that this is the"missing link" in the journey towards Ethanol use. Nez
Serf,
Your charting skills are a thing of beauty! Thank you for your effort and generosity. Nez
I sent a question one paragraph in length, points asked: Are you currently working on acquiring alternative funding.... "vision for the future"..., "r/s possibilities"..., "can you answer or are you legally bound not to comment about; applying for a Government Grant to fund research and development of infrastructure designed for the bulk distribution to station and fuel delivery from station holding tank to car tank, for example?"
I ask because I am eligible for a grant for the start up of a company. The company I am proposing will benefit the country's airport security, so can xlpi do the same as our dependance on foreign oil is a threat to country's national security? I think these issues were vaguely answered in a positive manner or is it my imagination? Nez
Coon,
I sure hope, after the call you might be willing to do a critique the call by posting you're impressions. I would understand you're not doing so as you probably have earned your knowledge of what to listen for by working for it. I don't like to ask somebody for knowledge without putting effort into gaining it myself but in this case, the chances for improving my level of inexperience with conference calls by 9:00 PM EST, seem very remote! Thanks for your previous post as I will at least have a general idea of how to listen and what to listen for. Thanks again, Nez
Lady and board,
I was going to send an additional question, asking for updates or if they can't talk about EFWD (E4World) merger, possibly giving us some of the history of the EFWD. I forgot to add the question to the list. Is it possible or likely we will get some background on the situation or at least get an idea of how far along the EFWD process is?
TIA,

More positive news from the "Big Three Auto Makers" meeting with Congress this past Friday. I like encouraging news! IMO this is definately encouraging!

Big 3 to Congress: Get ethanol at pumps
Detroit's automakers say they'll add more vehicles that run on E85, a corn-based fuel, to their fleets.
David Shepardson / Detroit News Washington Bureau
May 19, 2006
WASHINGTON -- The top executives of Detroit's Big Three automakers called on congressional leaders Thursday to help increase the availability of ethanol fuels.
After a series of meetings with key members of Congress, Ford Motor Co.'s Bill Ford Jr., General Motors Corp.'s Rick Wagoner and the Chrysler Group's Tom LaSorda urged Congress to consider incentives to boost the number of stations that carry E85, a corn-based ethanol fuel blend.
The executives also promised to add more vehicles that run on E85 to their fleets -- endorsing a plan to have renewable fuels meet 25 percent of the nation's transportation energy needs by 2025.
The meeting came as President Bush for the second time canceled a planned White House summit with the heads of the Big Three for June 2; now the meeting is expected by June 13. "It is not a big deal," Ford said.
On Capitol Hill, Wagoner said the automakers wanted to be leaders "in this historic shift from energy consumption."
The auto leaders said government-mandated fuel economy measures wouldn't take place until at least 2009, while they argued ethanol could immediately take the pressure off mounting gas prices.
The mantra was flexible fuels -- a topic that has been nearly universally endorsed -- from farm state representatives to President Bush to the domestic automakers. They also sought to again stamp out talk of a bailout.
"We weren't interested in coming, asking for help for the domestic auto industry. We were interested in talking about things that would improve the competitiveness of the national economy," Wagoner said. He said members of Congress "asked some pretty tough questions along the way."
Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., said both sides would work to "bring back the American automobile industry where we think it should be."
Sen. Majority Leader Bill Frist, R-Tenn., said the auto companies were partners and agreed on "the importance of (reducing) energy independence being a long-term goal of this country."
Sen. Debbie Stabenow, D-Lansing, said the meeting underscored important issues for the industry, especially on currency and health care.
"We don't have a level playing field," Stabenow said.
The meeting was heavily covered, with dozens of TV cameras from Japan to Detroit stations. One environmental activist even posed as a reporter and fired off a few questions.
It clearly wasn't the domestic auto industry of old -- the unchallenged titans of American industry.
"There was considerable understanding on each side and substantial sympathy for the views and the concerns of the industry," said U.S. Rep. John Dingell, D-Dearborn, who sat in on the meeting with the House Democratic leadership.
The CEOs made a choreographed entrance to the Capitol parking lot in vehicles powered by ethanol and decorated with images of corn stalks.
More than 5 million vehicles built by the Big Three that can run on primarily ethanol are on the roads, but hardly any do so -- because ethanol is available at 600 pumps out of more than 170,000 gas stations nationwide.
The companies didn't take any direct shots at oil companies that have resisted embracing ethanol. "We need infrastructure. So it's about getting ethanol to the gas pumps," said Chrysler CEO LaSorda. "Twenty to 30 percent of the gas stations today need to be equipped with ethanol."
In the Washington, D.C., area, there's only one gas station that carries E85. There are six stations in Michigan, though a few dozen more are planned.
"The bottleneck is distribution. … The push to ethanol makes a great deal of sense regardless of the temporary price of gasoline," Bill Ford said. "Even if it comes down dramatically, there still is the issue of where the oil is produced and the fact that we import virtually all of it."
Earlier this week, the Big Three endorsed a bill to promote bipartisan legislation that would offer a reimbursement of up to $30,000 to gas station owners who convert their pumps to renewable fuels -- that would be funded by using interest from a fund to pay for leaking fuel storage tanks.
"If we want a game changer very quickly in big numbers, then ethanol is a very good play for this country," Ford said.
But Wagoner acknowledged: "It's not going to solve the whole problem. … No one sees a vision right now where we won't rely to some extent on oil."

This may have been seen by many but just in case I thought I would post it anyway. I think the fact that "the Big Three" from the automaking industry, having a meeting with the President, "in the hopes the visits would build support in Congress on issues including energy policies. I for one, find this a source of further encouragement for increasing availibility of Ethanol at the pump with concurrent. Nez
Leaders of Big 3 automakers meeting on Capitol Hill
Ken Thomas / Associated Press
May 18, 2006
WASHINGTON -- Leaders of the Big Three U.S. automakers hoped visits to Capitol Hill on Thursday would build support in Congress on issues including energy policies, health care and competitiveness.
General Motors Corp. Chairman and CEO Rick Wagoner, Ford Motor Co. Chairman and Chief Executive Bill Ford, and Tom LaSorda, president and CEO of DaimlerChrysler AG's Chrysler Group, were holding a series of closed-door meetings with congressional leaders.
Auto industry officials said the meetings would center on energy issues such as making ethanol fuels more widely available, the industry's challenges in meeting rising health care costs, trade issues and the need for more alternative fuel vehicles.
Domestic automakers have ramped up production of flexible fuel vehicles, capable of running on gasoline and fuel blends of up to 85 percent ethanol. But one of the obstacles is finding pumps that offer ethanol -- industry officials estimate that about 685 of the 165,000 fueling stations across the country offer ethanol blends, less than 1 percent of the stations.
The auto executives plan to meet in June with President Bush to talk about issues affecting the industry. A White House meeting tentatively planned for Thursday was postponed because Bush is traveling to Arizona to discuss border security and immigration.
With some consumers paying $3 and beyond for a gallon of gasoline, Bush has sought an increase in the availability of ethanol and alternative fuels, more research for hybrid vehicle batteries and elimination of the cap on tax credits for the purchase of hybrids.
The Bush administration has also asked Congress to give it the authority to change fuel economy rules for passenger cars, a move that could lead to higher gas mileage requirements. The measure is expected to reach the House floor in the coming weeks.
The meeting comes at a challenging time for the domestic automakers. GM and Ford are executing major restructuring plans that would cut a combined 60,000 jobs and close more than two dozen plants by 2012. GM, meanwhile, has stockpiled parts in case workers at auto supplier Delphi Corp. go on strike.
Delphi, GM's former parts division and largest supplier, has asked a judge for permission to cancel its labor contracts. The United Auto Workers and other unions have threatened to strike if those contracts are thrown out.
U.S. automakers have stressed that they do not want a federal bailout, similar to the move by Congress in 1979 to rescue the former Chrysler Corp. Supporters of the U.S. auto industry in Congress say the industry faces many competitive disadvantages against foreign manufacturers, such as Toyota Motor Corp., on issues such as trade and health care.
My shares posted to my account over the evening. Now lets see when they get a name and a price! Nez
Thanks for the update Pupp. The main thing I want to see is that they are doing what needs to be done! using the words of another poster, I look forward to telling my heart it was right all along! Still long and still strong. Nez
Good posts! Much new information and even history. I enjoy learning from posts such as this. Thanks for putting the link in also Pupp. Nez
Thanks badK, I appreciate the oversight. When one is attempting to develop the right attitude for this, at times, crazy endevour called investing, it is most benificial to learn from those more experienced. I have learned when one is fortunate enough to be provided with correction from more experienced hands, one is indeed fortuante. I guess that is one of the reasons for my investing in XLPI, I listened to those with more experience and then let research do the rest in building my confidence and ultimately, my investing and perservering in XLPI. Thanks again, both you and those like you, for your observations and insights. Nez
Good Morning Pupp,
I am gratified to see a lack of the usual "panic" dialog among we shareholders as the pps demonstrates a firm foundation. I believe we all know that there are good things coming and that we and the company officils are best served by patient, quite anticipation, unless someone comes across something that is of interest to all. I am very glad to see that many may have realised that guessing, hypothesising and the like, do nothing but inspire our human nature, to needlessly question what are really nothing but thoughts and feelings and not facts. Keep up the good work all and if possible lets not allow the various types of people who profit from swings, even small ones, to do so. This, IMO, can be done by holding and accumulating when possible. Nez
Thanks Lady and Pupp, ( as a father of five smaller kids, that sounds somewhat familiar!)
I knew you would come through and I knew it couldn't be as bad as the pps psycics wanted us to believe!
Also, Lady, I agree with you and if I haven't said so before, thanks for your work and thoughts. Both are as highly appreciated as Pupps.
Nez
Ahh, Pupp, I don't know about the rest of the board, but I have a pretty good guess, that the news of you being able to speak with Brad today is worth a lot to us and I second the thanks for your hard work and honesty. I am very much looking forwrd to the results of your conversation with Brad. Please have plenty of sharpened pencils and plenty of paper on hand! By the way, I hope your computer crash was soft and not a hard one! Components can be so costly but I guess software is moving right on up there to. Can't tell you how I felt when I first saw the box empty! Feel better now though. Nez
I'd like to see in the IBox, Pupp's concerns voiced in post 4428 addressed. I hope that there will be a lot more information coming soon to fill that box in addition to that information. Nez
hdhick,
thanks for your take also. They have got to get the information to us and we have to be patient a bit longer,IMO because something is going on with gas and it is not being accurately reflected in the so-called reduction of price. The auto and oil folks wouldn't be acting the way they are towards one another as well as our beloved polititians, if there isn't a size triple size D, firemans boot, about to drop! I'll give it time to see the mitigating factors evaporate before I give up on XLPI.
Nez
repeat,
thanks for the thoughful and thought provoking answer. I too am a supporter and will give them and it a bit more time especially since I read an artical today about the detant between the auto and oil industies "gentelmans agreement" to not blame each other publicly for our gas woes. According to the reading I did, the oil companys are feeling like the auto industry is ganging up on oil now that the oil compnays huge profits are public. It makes me wonder if there is an actual letup is the recent, past rise of gas or if it, is smoke and mirrors before the real increases begin anew and with greater vengence. I find the very early morning Sunday "talking head" shows to be amazing.
As far as xlpi goes, if they are hiding anything, which may be the case, at least they will be the ones themselves to wring the neck of the chicken as it is their action or lack thereof that will make the difference. Thanks again. Nez (no editing)
repeat58,
I haven't heard that one for awhile. I always wondered what it meant(put some lipstick on this pig.) I know I'm showing my ignorance here, but if you could give me some background on the saying I'd appreciate it. I remember the folks that used the phrase before but that is all I remember about them. Can't recall what their fellings about a stock were or if they supported the one connected to the use of the phrase or not, so please don't read anything unintended into this post other than I don't know what the phrase means or stands for. I never had the courage before to ask when I came across it in the past. Now that it has come up again, I'm throwing caution to the wind and asking!
TIA, Nez
