Apple shit the bed with the watch rollout. Should we sue them for that? The stock should be $200 yet it's in the $120's because of that. I am disappointed indeed, but that is how it is.
Titan's promise to its shareholders was to develop and bring to market a safe, reliable and marketable product. If it is not ready to be unveiled, it is an issue in the development process, not necessarily a fiduciary misstep by management.
When one buys a speculative stock, it is a gamble. There are tens of thousands of investments available on the numerous American and international exchanges. Money can be made, and money can be lost.
Just because the stock is down and the company is not acting the way you want it to or think that it should, there is no reason to threaten litigation.
If you are not happy with the way your investment is performing, sell it and move on. I have made money on investments and I have lost money on investments as well. I am sitting here and waiting patiently.
Am I happy? No I am not. But I am willing to wait or else I will just leave.
If only others can just follow that same philosophy…
Adrian is bringing something to the table !
One can only hope
"Although this just could be them updating their web site (finally), I have to wonder if maybe it's a regulatory requirement related to an exchange they're on or are going to be on?"
I just had an epiphany. We are about to have four straight months of press releases from Titan! February was a quarterly earnings report. March was the announcement of the prototype milestone. April was the announcement of the agreement with the mystery equipment manufacturer. May will be another quarterly report!
It seems that the tight lips are starting to loosen up!
Take the high road !
I just popped some corn. Going to sit back and watch the fireworks continue on this one....
Hahahahaha. Touché.
And he probably got a trophy just for showing up.
Based on a return to normal trading volumes today, I suspect that someone sold a big lot yesterday.
While those in the know realize this about ISRG, the uninformed public will be hesitant to invest in a speculative potentially disruptive company when the ONLY current player can't hit their targets; they perceive a static market, or a shrinking market. Like many here, I remain L&S, waiting for the next opportunity to enhance my position...
I suspect part of the drop is due to a sector-based drag down by the fact that intuitive did not hit their numbers. They are down almost $20 today.…
Rough day in the salt mines today
How about, "We suck, but not as much as they do" ???
Great find. Love seeing confidential info. Thanks for the share
They use a reusable's would fly in the face of the da Vinci strategy, which is based on a variation of the razor blade sales model. Even though the robot itself is very expensive, there annuity income is tied to each instrument becoming inactivated after 10 uses. This has to do, IMO, with significant complexity built into the instruments themselves required for their use.
If the sports technology simplifies the amount of required complexity within the arms, reusable tips makes sense. Graspers, needle drivers, and similar instrumentation can be reusable; scissors, cautery devices and other sharp and/or insulated devices would be better as reposables
I think you are right that outsourcing the development of the effectors takes some of the stress off of Ximedica.
Does corporate secrecy extend to fear that a possibile Microline buyout by another player being an inroad to their IP?
B. Braun Aesculap is another possibility
Just doing some DD
What about Microline as a partner?
It's up $0.06 after hours. He's pumping stool.
I'd rather not. My contacts might get me behind the curtain; gotta trust me.
Call me crazy, but I still think they may go this alone. I know that they have been in discussions with national sales managers. Maybe about future positions? This may be a speculative investigation on their part or it may be a sign of things to come. They might want to collaborate with someone to be a partner and not a future buyer.
I think this decision allows them to concentrate on the robotic technology, their true focus. Why have to concentrate on the robotic technology as well as the end effector piece as well if it is not necessary?
Another tree has fallen in the woods
Big volume so far this morning, could be interesting today
I have a question for the tax gurus here. Since we are dealing with an FPIC, let's suppose that Titan goes to market and loses its FPIC status. Would it make sense to sell at a lower price, pay at the higher tax rate, and then rebuy the stock for the big run up? This makes sense to me....
This is an adult message board. No emojis allowed! LOL
Before market release $20-30. After commercialization, it's anyone's guess...
Not your putting him on ignore. He's been totally MIA, unless he's been totally banned....
Not necessarily. It is not uncommon to be an adviser/consultant to more than one company at a time
He was there last year as well; shaking hands. Stock had a little bump afterwards too…
I am in
Why are you yelling too?
Tuesday was the proverbial tree falling in the woods with no one but us to hear it
At this point, the question on my mind is whether management was surprised by The weak market response to the milestone announcement.
One would hope, against past experience, that they will see this as an indication to become more open to drive the price up. I am sure they want to capitalize through warrant exercises and not more dilution.
Remember they are all heavy shareholders. Dilution hurts them, probably more than us.
Not available to public without purchase. Can you summarize for us ???
If you ignore the petulant child, you will miss out on all of this fun ! Thanks for the laughs, all
While I did not expect to get back all of the drop from Black November after the milestone announcement, I did NOT expect it to meet resistance and arrest at $1.45 today. Agree that we should be at about $2.00, albeit an UNDERVALUED $2.00. Hopefully we will continue the climb tomorrow and not be attacked by profit taking, shorting and market makers.....
No surprise coming from you, diamond. Essentially all of your posts on this board are negative.
Other than shorting the stock, I am not sure what you have against Titan, or for that matter, Kool-Aid!
