Trexville- You have a great amount of support from posters of this forum and for that you should be commended. What that tells me is that you have the type of personality that people like. As for me personally, I tend to like you on a personal level as well. We shared a room in Dallas and our conversation was quite pleasant. You're a pretty good guy when it gets right down to it.
My main point was that it is my opinion that you at times would tell us one thing, yet know something else to be the truth while at the same time selling 144's. Maybe the word "lying" was a little harsh, but I don't believe in sugarcoating things one bit. I could site specific examples Carl and you know I could, but for the sake of peace and future prosperity, I will not do it.
I don't reckon I'll walk away from this with too many friends. I started out with several but those have dwindled. I'm sure it has a little bit to do with my lack of class when it comes to confronting people with what I strongly believe to be the truth. That doesn't worry me much though I will have to admit.
I was calling JH a dishonest liar way back in the day yet some of the people here supported him no matter what. Now go and read about the KDMV scam and keep in mind that JH was right smack dab in the middle of that as well.
My point is this...I go with my gut feel. I try not to let emotions rule ULTIMATELY although emotion does get in the way of day to day things at times. I do not doubt that you have probably done more for this company than anyone else with the exception of actual employees. I will also concede that you are quite a nice guy. However, I stand firmly behind my statement that what was really going on and what actually came out of your mouth sometimes did not always align properly. Some people argue that that sort of thing happens a lot in business and that it is necessary at times. I've been told that a good and successful businessman has to hide the truth at times as well. However, I will argue until the day that I die that misrepresenting the truth is NEVER necessary EVEN when money is involved. And yes, even if it will affect a companys ability to finance its operations. Nothing personal. While I managed to ride free shares for awhile, I had to sell a boatload at a huge loss. I wouldn't have had that many if it hadn't been for John Howell telling me on SEVERAL occasions that financing was a done deal. Dishonesty is never the best policy because people tend to get hurt. There is no way I will ever be able to recover those shares. They are gone.
Why did this come up? I don't have the time right now to site the specific post, but I believe I was defending someone who was told that they were ridiculous saying something or another about you. I did notice how no one attacked me personally even though they did not agree with my post. I'm glad you are all like a family. I'm sure you will have good times into the future. Maybe I'll let that be an example to me for future reference but I'll not swear to it. Have a good one.
CW- That may sound ridiculous to you but that doesn't make it any less of a possibility.
golfer- you're a good guy but that was out of line. Some suspect that Trexville (Carl Kruse) lied to investors in order to get them to buy 144's. Judging by the facts that I have available to me it is a possibility but who can say what the man's thought processes were at the time. Some would argue that a few people here have their heads in the sand. In fact, anyone who trusts ANYONE from these message boards without having known that person PERSONALLY for several years is naive and could learn the hard way that there are those whose only purpose is to separate you from your money. I could site specific examples regarding specific people but I'm going to choose not to at this point. Let me just say that you would be somewhat suprised. Have a good one.
Chrome...let me ask you this; why can these two companies announce they are "working" on something but NV cannot??? Intel and Alvarion don't seem too worried about the competition biting them in the arse in this case. Why am I beginning to think BK is full of !@#$? How much do these guys make as compared to the amount spent on R&D???
5 weeks...
Engineer- What makes you so sure that Ourstreet.com is wrong? It sure looks to me like they had some irrefutable facts in hand. Also, the lack of response from the company says it all to me.
It's just a simple matter of reformatting isn't it? Every time we rent a movie a message says it has been reformatted to fit the screen. Why couldn't they do that in order to show it at the I-Max?
Speaking of inmates of the asylum...HOWDY SKETZ!! EOM
cosmo- I think Groove stated in his post that he couldn't back up the claims so I'm not understanding why you're demanding that he do so. While I am frustrated at this point, I cannot rule out the possibility that the FPGA is done as he says. If we look at the fact that very little money was spent on R&D in Q1, and also at the fact that Brad is totally sticking by the 8 month timeframe, then what Groove brings up is a very real possibility. In fact, that's the one possibility that I hope is correct.
One last comment I'd like to make before officially retiring this issue is this...
I made my post the other day out of built up frustration. I'm tired of management letting time pass by without giving their loyal shareholders an update. We pay their salaries each and every month only to hear them say "trust me".
I WILL NOT retract any part of that post. I fully believe that management should take somewhat of a pay cut and put that money towards the development of this technology.
HOWEVER, I also recognize that I, nor anyone else, has enough information about what's going on behind the scenes to really make that call. I consider it entirely possible that NV is so much farther ahead of where they are letting on that we could wake up one day and have a PR stating that we are entering into the production phase of the process and that Intel will be licensing the technology with an expected product release of November. We just don't know and I think that's what kills us at times. Whatever was said in the President's letter about Supercomm COULD POSSIBLY have been a ploy to throw competitors off. If what we have is as big as we've been led to believe, you can bet your bottom dollar that competitors are sniffing around.
So anyway, I'm just going to revert back to silent mode knowing that we have two more months before we find out if Brad has been filling us full of beans or not. I suspect all will be fine and at this point, I still suspect that what we have something better than anything else out there.
BRAD, YOU HAVE 2 MONTHS. GOOD LUCK.
Y2K- I think Brad is already saying to heck with this. The only difference is that he's ignoring shareholders. One of two things is happening here; 1. They're damn near done with a whole slew of things to be announced shortly. or 2. They're still trying to find money to get the FPGA going while at the same time collecting their salaries.
When you think about it, it is more probable that number 1 is the case. I say this because my first impression is that Brad is an honest fellow. However, there have been WAY too many people burned in these little bb stocks because they trusted what management TOLD then rather than trusting what they saw with their own eyes.
I guess it ain't gonna hurt to wait for two more months to see. We've waited this long.
zzt- to me, the issue isn't whether or not they will deliver. The issue is WHY is management sucking up dollars that SHOULD be going towards developing the FPGA that was PROMISED to us by December 31, 2002. They have yet to deliver on that promise yet they still continue to sell 144's in order for them to collect their paychecks.
mag- EXCELLENT POST. I too hope we can look back someday and see that our frustrations are unfounded. Good to hear from you young man.
DCS- It's getting to the point that a letter just aint' gonna cut it. Have a good one.
austin- there's no way any one of these ying yangs here can convince me that there's room on the market for many technologies. That's a prime example of people LOWERING their expectations. When others lower what they expect, then they will most assuredly get less. My expectations are that New Visual will come out with a technoloy that will be unlike ANY OTHER. Anything less than that and Brad will have failed in my book. I didn't invest in this company to be a copycat or a wannabe. I have counted on Ketch being able to get the money. All I can say is the jury is still out on him and his credibility. Why is it that no one can explain to us why Cooper, Ivan, or other banking institutions REFUSE to loan us money??? We have a REVOLUTIONARY technology right??? Yeah...we'll see.
I just want to reiterate something...
Brad and company are making WAY too much money. Brad, I know you read this board... You need to either take a major salary cut OR go find yourself another job. It really is that simple. This is getting to be ridiculous. All I can say is you had better have something really really good up your sleeve.
Now that's just great. We have yet ANOTHER technology that is coming out comprable to what NVEI has published. BRAD, LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING PAL; Now is the time for you to get the money people off of their arses and get the dad bloomin' money going to R&D. Cooper has millions supposedly. What in the name of GOODNESS is he waiting for? If he knows this tech works then why in the name of PETE is he not funding New Visual??? He could at least put up partial collateral to get a conventional long term loan. Also, what in the he!! did we pay Ivan for??? That son of a buck didn't do a thing for us as far as I can tell. Doesn't HE have millions as well? One other thing...how much money do you think you need to make??? It seems to me that you are getting awfully close to needing to be fired. You may very well have something BIG going on but I'll be DAMNED if I'm going to sit by for another day and let you collect your huge salary while MY investment lingers in the toilet as competitors come out with new technologies. How is it that other companies are getting funded and we're not? I plan to use my voting power to vote you out of the CEO position unless you can show me that you're worth sucking up R&D money. The ball is in your court. And in case you haven't noticed, I'm done being polite. It's time to put up or STEP DOWN.
Immitt- You've always come off as a balanced sort of guy. So when you say you believe Brad to be trustworthy, I tend to give that statement credibility. You're a lot like me. Someone really has to be worth a crap before they get my vote. Brad definitely gets my vote. That's why I quit griping long ago. Have a good one.
Pi_314- I don't claim to have ESP, but my feeling is that your post may get deleted. LOL
NT- If that is indeed the case, then we would be looking pretty good for a contract here pretty quick as well. The more prototypes we get out, the better chance we have at getting a contract very quickly. My logic behind that is if the companies doing the testing are aware that we have several others testing, that should be a catalyst in getting them moving as quickly as possible. In other words, I hope like he!! you're right. Have a good one.
Well wheels...can you get the tickets or not? LOL
I doubt it. This was a scam from the get go plain and simple. I wonder if John Howell sold any of his stock or if his reasons for leaving also kept him from cashing in. Have a good one.
I submitted several names. My favorite was Coptix (copper and fiber optics). Good luck to all.
rustyjames- If you're basing your investment decisions on what the herd is doing, then you will be nothing more than a herd investor. You'll NEVER make a lot of money doing it that way. You need to get in before the rest of the people. Have a good one.
spoke- I guess I'm ignorant when it comes to all of the different tricks that can done via offshore financing. Please explain how 144 shares become free trading once they are sold to someone that has an offshore account.
it is a fairly common practice to sell deeply discounted shares to off-shore interests in order to make them free-trading. One can then buy them back, still at a discount, and sell them on the open market.
Well I hope they don't let you sell ANY of it. :)
After giving it some thought, it seems kind of silly to buy only 17 shares of the company stock. Therefore, I have decided to round it up to an even 20! Start the selling cosmo!!Wolfy is a buyer!!!
I've had an AON limit set at .335 for 17 shares all day but it has yet to fill. Spoke, cosmo, did you guys decide not to sell? Come on cosmo...you wouldn't joke around with ol' Wolfy about something like this would ya? Have a good one.
Ed- When Infineon first announced the tech, I imagine some assumptions were made in the way of revenues etc. In short, it may be because revenues were already added into the shareprice already. As Scorebig pointed out, the pps has risen 50-60% since the announcement in March.
jiz- I don't think it's really any big secret that NV will be commenting on the tech although now you guys have me not wanting to say who told me. LOL They didn't mention what form the commentary would take.
spoke- It looks like Infineon does have a similar technology. If what they have is inferior to what New Visual is developing, I would like to hear it from the company. It's my understanding that the company will be commenting on Infineon's INFERIOR technology either today or tomorrow. How it's inferior I don't know. The person that told me couldn't explain it either. I guess we'll wait and see. All I can say is that I will be a little disappointed if we got beaten to market.
We should be at $75 by the end of September this year (give or take). Have a good one.

using the new name.
Disclaimer:
If you submit an idea to the Company, you will not own it, nor be compensated
for it now or in the future.
jiz- In my opinion, right now 50,000 shares will make a person a multi-millionaire. That's just always been a number that has stuck in my mind.
GATEKEEPER- If you are referring to TFN's inability to produce a death spiral financing package from the SEC filing, I'm afraid you have fallen short of being helpful. Sorry...go read some more.
TFN- It's funny how you have gone back and deleted about 95% of this post. What happened to the name calling and the spewing forth of hatred that was here? Trying to make yourself look good? Too late buddy...
TFN- I realize that. Maybe that's why I used the word POSSIBLE in the sentnce below in a previous post...
TFN- when you say that you think it's possible the company is using death spiral financing...
Excellent post Ex. It's useless to argue with him though. When proven wrong, he will simply crawl back to RB and say we are paid shills for little tolerance for other's opinions. What it really boils down to is a low tolerance for incompetence.
TFN- when you say that you think it's possible the company is using death spiral financing, I find it necessary to correct you. You post numerous times on the bull and I say nothing. It's when you make false assumptions about the company is when I will step in. You are free to be as opinionated as you would like. I will also feel free to correct any mistaken assumptions you make while doing so. No hatred here buddy.
That's right TFN. The stock is being sold to keep the company going and I don't need to read the filing to know it's happening. Do you have an alternate plan while we're waiting on the right financing deal? I have been overall positive about this company since John Howell left. I guess you need to do a little DD on me as well.
PS- Looking back over the past several months, it seems that I have developed a low tolerance for incompetence.
TFN- I am always game for a lesson or two. Would you be kind enough to provide that this evening? I LOVE learning things.
