OT: Eagles fan here...unfortunately for the rest of the NFC, we have 13 picks this year including 5 in the top 94. I guess the rich get richer. Vikings really got rid of a cancer with Moss, I think they will try to move up and get Braylon Edwards or Mike Williams.
Scott, I think most here would love to see your scenario play out so they could continue to accumulate at these levels. The fly in the ointment could come with the fact that the racing season peaks in the summertime, where you expect to see lagging. I guess you need to keep your fingers crossed that Arie Jr. or Herta do not win any major races and create unwanted exposure to MSEP and God forbid they announce any promising mergers and acquistions.
That's how it looks from here. GLTY
I hear ya on that Viking. Colorado reported the numbers are in the hands of the auditors and we could see the 10Q as early as May 5th. You have to imagine its easier to crunch numbers for 3 months as opposed to 1 year.
First Q revenue will be around 60-75k in my opinion. I posted this last month--however, we'll see rapidly expanding revenues in the second and third quarters. IMO
Viking, you have been OBSESSED with the 1 year price target for as long as I have been reading your posts;> Seriously, though I think Dubsy said on the other board that we shouldn't have a problem eclipsing .25 to .40 this year, in fact he said it could happen this summer. FWIW, he is one of the most informed posters over on RB and a professional trader.
Hope that helps.
There was a post on RB about someone who spoke to Dave yesterday and Dave had mentioned to him that they are presently working on a deal that would be the biggest revenue stream to date. So, apparently that is in the works. Hopefully, before the 10q comes out.
Fried chicken and watermelon on me for lunch today, express. Its such a beautiful day that we'll have a company picnic to predict what the next revenue stream will be. According to Dave, it will be the "biggest one yet".
Have you read any of the posts on this board? This company is about 6 months old--yes its a startup but less risky than most start ups. Scalecars.com is an established business that has produced close to 300k in revenue on a part time basis. New managment has plans to accelerate earnings from scalecars as well as adding new revenue streams to the mix.
colorado--I don't believe they are going to cut it that close to the deadline again. I am hoping to see the 10q before Memorial day.
Viking--Scalecars==99.9% DriversDigs .01%...for now at least!!
Mike, let's hope its out way before then. I don't think they'll want to go down to the wire again especially considering it should be a positive 10Q.
Your ignore of Ragin was very successful.
Mac, Dave and Mark (at MSEP) await your call. The picture will gain clarity for you after you spend some time on the phone with these guys. Go ahead, get the answers to these vital questions.
Ragin, could we convince you to call Dave or Mark on Monday and clear all this up? It would be a great way to end all this wild speculation and various conspiracy theories being thrown around.
Also, there has been speculation that MSEP would be announcing an additional revenue stream by the end of the March. It was probably delayed becaused of the 10k. We should hear something about it soon I hope.
Mike-who do you think hired these auditors?? I'm sorry, but management shares in the blame. They are responsible for selecting a firm that can deliver.
OT--Scalecar, it would never hold up in court..don't skimp on something that important--especially if you own property or have childresn. 125.00 aint much for the peace of mind.
No 10k--not a good sign. For those that say this is not managements fault, I would say Dave should have been more meticulous in choosing the auditing firm. Maybe Brehm could have suggested a better one. The shark reported that the 10k was going to be available on March 17 (day of the Irish) and the 1st quarter 10Q by barrister day.
OT: Mike, what do you predict we'll see first: SHRN at .15 or MSEP at .10?
When do you all think MSEP will announce their new venture that a few posters have mentioned? Before or after the 10k? I thought I heard it was by the end of this month.
Good point, Mike. I guess all types of oil stocks will start coming out of the woodwork now and everyone will be lining up to buy 'em.
Mike--The time to invest in oil stocks was a couple of years ago when it was trading at $30.00 a barrel..not at the top of the market. I encourage all of you to look at uranium market. It has been in a 3 year uptrend and is just getting off the ground. James Dines is really big on uranium, as is Doug Casey and a few others. A couple to DD are FTG, DEN and Cameco.
Mike--the Mario rumor was also broadcast on IBC radio by the shark. Enough on that one, but I am sure there are more drivers to be added in the near future.
Your not seeing manipulation. There was HUGE selloff after this touched on .09 and dropped under .06. Then a bunch of traders hopped in the next week for a rebound play and it ran back over .07. MSEP is exactly where it should be and will now begin a healthy climb north. I'm hoping this new venture (TBA b4 the end of this month) is as strong as Colorado says it s will be.
Shark (on RB) is still sticking to his "fins" that a Mario A. affiliation could still be in the works. That could ignite things as well.
Good point JournalJack. Ya think he and his buddies could eat this small float up in a heartbeat? Easily. Plus, they'd be long term shareholders.
That would be great..I know he can move some merchandise! Arie Sr. is a living legend. I can't imagine the amount of contacts he has.
Will Arie Sr. be willing to put some authentic merchandise on driversdigs.com??
Great stuff, Mike!!
This board is very refreshing. Solid, factual posts without all the hypesters and bashers. Did Dave mention anything about new ventures or partnerships in the works?
Thanks for the tip on the radio show! I''m going to start listening in. I also noticed that SHRN is a sponsor of the show. If you click on "sponsors" on the home page and scroll down to the very bottom right hand corner appears Shelron. Interesting and good exposure
Hope we get some action on this board. I'm interested in the Uranium sector on the advice of Doug Casey and Jim Dines. I like Fronteer's strategy and management.
Sorry for the misunderstanding. I didn't mean to post it as a reply. I post on RB very rarely with the same username.
Wrong Zagdad. I am a shareholder. The comparison is that both of the companies I mentioned (ADAT and ADOBE) created technology that was purchased by bigger companies to become standard features with Microsoft. It's clear to me that one of the larger search engines may decide to purchase SHRN's technology. Don't tell me to do DD.
Is it an unfair comparison: SHRN's technology with ADAT and ADOBE??
Has anyone been to headquarters to grill management? I need to know this product will sell. What is the marketing plan? What kind of integrity does Meeks have? These are some key questions that need to be answered.
....or a tremendous buying opportunity. All depends on how you look at it. Don't forget the Blue Dock is still waiting in the wings.
Ides of March
Best estimate is March 15th. That is when Circuit City is expected to take delvivery for the 3k they ordered.
L-Bro, I hope your ratio is about right. There are 2M PDA's sold in US a year, so if 1/5 buy a VKB it will generate 20M in revenue, assuming IBZT makes $50 for everyone they sell.
Rhino
Tom-- You may not see a need for it, however, standard keyboards have the highest replacement rate of any part of the computer (spills, dirt, over use). The VKB could reduce the wear and tear and cost associated with keyboards in public places (schools, phone booths, ATM's). Also, there are 2M PDA's sold a year and there is a market for a full size keyboard for those devices.
J-Rhino
yokeydokey===hold on to your shares til the ides of March. Give this dog a chance. It'll find it's way. New product launches are painfully slow and there are going to be serious bumps along the way. Remember the twin killers of success are impatience and greed.
