jabberstox... I'll take bashers over pumpers any day of the week
Does that include the songs?
For all considering taking a tax loss. I have read several posts about selling for the tax loss. Most people think that you have to totally eliminate a position. This is not true. There is another way and it will allow you to keep your position and washout other gains at the same time.
For example: I have some sizeable gains related to SLJB, PGPM, CWPC, NDOL, & Connacher. How to cover the gain: The IRS has a 31 day rule. Most believe that you have to sell out and stay out for 31 days. Well the 31 day rule works in reverse as well. You can double down today and then in 31 days you can sell a matching portion to your higher basis. Then follow the 31 day rule about buying any more of the stock. When you sell, you do it over the phone with a broker and state that the trade is a “Verses Purchase” type of trade. Save the print out for your taxes. If it is a sizeable amount consider using a CPA or some thing like H&R Block to file. It will put you in the less likely to be audited category. Even though it is legal this will not match the 10?? form Scottrade or some other trading platform will send to the government and it could stick out like a turd in a punch boal at a church social. So use some one like a CPA to sign off on it.
Say I have 1,000,000 shares at an average of .024 = $24,000 (now worth $6,000). I buy 1,000,000 more shares for $6,000 on Monday and wait 31 days (I give it 32 days to be safe) and I sell 1,000,000 shares. Then I get the $18,000 tax loss and hold the same amount of shares and was never totally out of the stock, just incase for some reason they got their shit together and released something big. I take the $18,000 tax loss to match up with the gains and washout an $18,000 taxable liability and if it is still trading at .006 then I get the $6000 I used to purchase back. At the same time your basis in PBLS is reduced. There is still time to do it this way before the end of the year. If by some chance PBLS went up past your highest basis, (Not likely) then you are screwed on the idea but you will have in turn averaged down and will be showing green.
Use it or lose it.
LMFAO I got a 595. Could we post these games in the ibox?
Well Whirligig, I thought that is what we were doing here. Just having some fun…
Do you think they have a version that uses baby seals with red necks at bat? My sister is such a tree hugger.
Here is a redo

Make that a 307.1
Whirligig I got a 293.2 dude. What is your best at it????
hardasset & Imirish;
Are you saying that the longs here have taken all "10 inches"????????
I guess I missed the food fight last night... Or should I say another episode of "As the Pit Turns"
Interesting
Was a rough ride for anyone who got stuck over a dollar. I remember that morning, I pulled the trigger at 1.05 and then 10 minutes latter the fall began. I have never seen something move so fast. After I took the profit I have not bothered with the company. Anything change in the last 6 months?
Han;
Why would you tempt fate with NDOL?
Hmmm, 10 tequilas and one huge chick.
DISCLAIMER:
This was not intended to offend any huge chicks that might be present. If you are huge and present, then I would like to say that, um, well, would you like a shot?
Whirligig;
"instant gratification" hmmm, that involves three chicks and tequila??? right.........
Whirligig,
I would rather suffer this pps if PA is really buying back. If this is true then two things come to mind. 1) Ungag TA would screw up PA's cheap buy back. 2) PA has in the past exceeded stated buy back programs. Example the 100,000,000 that turned into 110,000,000.
They stated a 100,000,000 share buy back after axing the .03 cert buy back... Two items come to mind.
1) the 100,000,000 buy back was stated when the stock was at approximately .02; now we are 1/3 that price; so will they exceed the 100,000,000???
2) We never found out how many shares were taken out in the .03 cert buy back so lump that on top of the stated 100,000,000 to begin with...
Share structure will go a long way in correcting this situation and they are not STUPID, when it comes to that.
PS; I have been looking for a song with the words "Ouch, please take it out now, it hurts" but I have not found one yet.

Items;
1) I can see that
2) Has been talked about and not just a one time event
3) Will happen in time late 1Q07 or 2Q07. If it sooner you can have my ex.
Midas, put simply. A group of us with 10,000,000 shares at an average of .0245 and now .006; and now drifting back into the .005's, it is the only thing in my account holding it down. If it was not for CKYS run my account would have been almost destroyed by this one.
Keep in touch Midas, the kiel looks broken. "Cry out for salvation and the management does not care to hear"
Fellow bagholder
Nothing, different state than our leases. Some theories of a general trend that extends into NV and maybe some anticline formations there, that have yet to be proven. If there are those types of formations then EDNE will find one some time in 2007 when that company finally gets off their butts and drills a hole.
When the military cuts spending it is usually to older programs, older weapons platforms and to new technology that they do not see a use for anymore because the battle field has changed. When I say “new technology” I mean multibillion dollar weapons systems that are still in development but have not been deployed yet. I do not think it applies here.
tmcc,
welcome to the wild wild west...
you too?
That is the biggest part of it all.
Most likely because we have re-hashed every scenario we can think of and then we re-hashed it. We have beaten so many horses here that they are piled up like cordwood. In all seriousness the only thing left to do is continue to be vigilant with our DD and share the results and wait some more. I think management would use this time wisely by buying back shares and begin to keep its shareholders abreast of what is going on now that we will not be evicted from the pit.
Now see the other side of the legal situation. There are three suits if I am not mistaken. That could result in three good PR’s. Remember the rise to .05 on the news of closing some legal dispute?
You want to discus “inconsistencies”?
1) OK, what pinkie that is actually screwing their shareholders would ever send a check for their certs?
2) What pinkie scam would invite investors to drop in?
3) What pinkie scam actually buys their stock back instead of R/S and flood again?
4) What pinkie scam would publish an organizational sheet like that?
5) What kind of company owners would sell their companies to PBLS for preferred shares of a company that will not be around in 5 years?
6) What pinkie scam would tell their investors that ProGass income will fall short in the 4th Q07 due to low NatGas prices and still expects to gross $81 million?
I am not happy with all of what has happened but these are the “inconsistencies” that do not add up that continue to keep my interest.
If the court day was a “D-Day” for the company and they managed to scrape by then in my mind there are several issues that can provide good PR’s
1) Concluding legal disputes
2) Packaging out WY & NV in a drilling JV
3) Increased pit production
4) Share structure
5) Details on buy back completion
6) Profit details on BestJets engine contract (PS GE does not deal with scams)
7) Update on construction activities
8) ProGas one year later
9) FORM 10
10) All the other stuff that happens

Geek moment;
That is sort of a common misconception about a two front war in 1941. The US was not in it, the French were on life support and England was not able to mount any kind of land threat that could not have been dealt with in short order by the few divisions that were left in the West. In fact the Allies would not have the landing craft needed for such a venture until 1943 at the earliest.
At the same time, Russia was beginning to field the new tank types like the KV1 and the T-34, was reorganizing their mechanized corps, and was beginning to fortify the approaches through Kiev and Minsk. There is a school of thought that Stalin was going to strike first in 1942 or 1943. H needed a knock out blow either in the West or in the East. In the West, an invasion of England was a pipe dream after the Battle of Briton and the targeting of cities in stead of the air fields that lead to the RAF getting a breather. In the East, a knock out blow to the Soviets would have nailed Churchill’s dream of a two front war.
Three mistakes;
1) H attacked Yugoslavia in 1941 and delayed the attack on Russia from May of 1941 to June 22 1941. The attack on Moscow began on October 5 1941 instead of August 1941 and were stopped by winter and Siberian reinforcements.
2) H redirected panzer groups 2 & 3 North and South following the closure of the pocket at Smolensk. Even though this resulted in the pocket battle at Kiev and the total destruction of several Russian armies, by the time the german army reformed before Moscow it was October 1941 and the Russians had built 3 defense lines and placed 750,000 troops and 1,700 tanks between them and Moscow as opposed to late August when there might have been 100,000 demoralized troops.
3) H was an obsessive compulsive with a flair for numbers. So while battle hardened divisions at the front were being bled white from losses in men and equipment; H was busy building new green units to take their place. His good units were being degraded while he created new green units that could be decimated in battle in 25% of the time.
H was a nut bag for sure. But you have to ask yourself how the german army stayed in the field and was effective for so long and could inflict pain even as late as 1945. Lessons can be learned, even from sick minded nut bags.
Well, back to drinking and GO PBLS
This is very true.
Let us all have a sense of humor here, my step mom is French.
I am half German & half Irish. So I drink a lot and then drink more when the Irish half kicks in.
Most people in the west believe it was the US UK alliance that won the war in Europe when in reality the Russians were the ones that broke the back of the german army well before D-Day and and then shattered them on June 22 1944 when they crushed army group centre and served them up 350,000 casualties in a few weeks time.
Oh, I forgot..... GO PBLS
I thought is bunne taking a suggestion to heart
If that had happened then the UK & France would be speaking german right now but the british would be driving on the correct side of the road.
I don't care. It was just a suggestion.
try .031
No problem, I do not think the French counted on the ability of the Panzer & Motorized division being able to use the fuel at the average French service station... That must have been a run on twinkies and ciggs as well...
PS;
Borrow away.
Midas716,
Several Tequilas? Or multiple bottles? IV Drip with a bed pan.
That would be "new math"
balancr,
They did not need any ammunition.
I sit corrected
