Pengy, if I remember correctly, I believe the shares given to Merc were valued at approximately 6 centavos.
You know Pengy, I have to say that I like your possibility better than I like mine. We'll go with that one for now and will look at it again in a couple of months.
pengy- Is it also possible that WHP would be entitled to receive compensation, much like Trex, for hooking NV up with funding (if, of course, it goes through)? It seems to me that if that was the case, WHP would be signing an NDA, not getting the silent treatment. Just another possibility among many. Have a good one dude. :)
rim- I wouldn't touch this stock with a 10 foot pole. I reccommend turning the other way and running just as fast as you can.
cosmo- That possibility is very real. It has been bantered about for a couple of weeks now. In my opinion though, Brad DOES want the loan to close but is leveraging the possibility of the loan in order to push the increase through smoothly. I guess it's working out pretty good for him.
WHP03- In the past, you've made predictions that were positive and you see where we are now. Now that you're making negative posts...TIME TO LOAD UP FOLKS. THE TRAIN IS ABOUT TO LEAVE THE STATION!! :))) I hope I get to eat my words as well. Have a good one Bill.
Bill- I appreciate your posts regarding VC money. I have to say that I never thought of it in that light. Now the question is if management has failed to do what is right by the shareholders, what can we do about it other than complain? It seems that a lot of people are waiting to see if the approved shares trigger financing. If that's the case, then it should be no later than a week or so after the meeting when we hear something. They've had plenty of time to get the paperwork done.
Hitimer- I can say for sure that there was a poster in the chatroom that requested that several of us keep our comments on the down low in hopes that (will leave unnamed) would fire up several of his aliases and pump this to high heaven as in times past. Therefore, I chose to be quiet. Does that make me an MM?
Also, sometimes we get a runup before significant news. Perhaps we were waiting to see how high and what the news was to be???
Bill- Did Brad even so much as say thatnk you for your efforts? If they really need money, why would they choose to ignore you? There's only one reason for that and I have to say they had BETTER have money in hand now.
Rob- Speaking only for myself, I can say without a doubt that the shareprice doesn't affect my views re: the incompetence of the company. I stand firmly behind my statement that IF it is true that Brad cannot get any funding to complete the tech, OR; if there have not been any agreements set in place that allows someone like Zaiq to provide services for payment later, then I submit to you that they are having trouble with the actual hardware version of the technology and are using the funding excuse to string us along further. That's just one possible scenario I have in my mind. A company can make excuses for a LOOOOOOONG time before people really start catching on. I'm curious to see how things turn out at the shareholders meeting. I bet no one asks even a remotely tough question. I just can't believe you would assume that a few cent jump in the shareprice would cause some of us to change our minds about the company. RESULTS will change my mind. That's unbelievable and you should be ashamed of yourself. :) Have a good one.
Bill- Somehow that song seems to fit the moment.
The movie is looking good. Where's Dodi when you need her? It would be nice of the company to at least help us get out of this mess by getting the good ol' trusty fax machines warmed up.
The company has been handing out BS for a few years now. Each time they fill my plate it takes a little bit longer to get over it. This share increase without any type of guarantee is perposterous.
The question I've always had but never made public is this:
If they are so concerned about the competition gaining knowledge about the secret tech, and if they won't even give us an update because it may tip the wrong company off, then why in the name of pete would they bring a prototype to a shareholders meeting? Isn't it possible a corporate spy could simply have grabbed it and run? As it turns out, that was just one more to add to the long line of misrepresentations we have endured since we invested in the "secret tech". I have to give it to baileyd. If I'm not mistaken, he coined the term "vaporware". How much does vaporware go for these days?
On a more positive note, it seems that SIL will do well. That means Ray's 2% cut will be much larger.
TFN...
There has got to be a way to get a peak w/o them losing their secrecy...The 500M new shares should at least carry that demand with it...
YOU'RE DARN RIGHT
Brady- Thank you for that post. However, having met deeba in Dallas, I can say that I do not believe he has any malicious intent. However, he does tend to get a little passionate regarding NV at times but who doesn't. I believe Austin to be a pretty good dude even though he does repeat himself on occasion. LOL
MWL- If I'm paid to pump, then I need to be fired for total incompetence. LOL!! I guess the same applies to you if you're paid to read. Have a GREAT day.
Thank you
Sorry to say...but I believe the loan has MAYBE a 5% chance of closing. It looks to me like they will continue to sell 144's as I stated several days ago. If we had something worth marketing, they would have found a way (without any problem at all) to keep things moving forward other than dilutive financing. Our only hope is that Zaiq is providing services for stock already received, or stock promised in the future.
We chose the J. Rueben Clark School of Law (at Brigham Young University) for three reasons.
1. It's rated #18 in the nation.
2. It's a private institution
3. It is VERY family friendly
Are you a lawyer?
Triple- No work as of yet. I'll be attending the J. Rueben Clark School of Law at BYU in Provo. It's great to hear that you're a real estate agent in the area. It looks like Sandy will be a definite canidate for a place to live. We probably need to take this off the board. I'd really like to ask you some questions when you have the time. Why don't you shoot me your phone number and we'll hook up. ElderWolf@msn.com
TripleSevens- If I remember correctly, you're in Utah right? Which part? I'll be moving the family out there in about 9 months.
With all of the fussing being done by myself and others as of late, I decided to go to the NV website and read the biographies of the BOD/advisory board members once again. Ignoring the dead wood, I was reminded of the credentials of others who serve. I'm not selling the shares I have now. I've come way too far to do that. There is hope here.
My hope is that Ketch is sandbagging so badly that we could look up all of a sudden and have an ASIC in volume production. Lord knows it's been long enough. What I'm saying is the possibility exists that they are so entirely paranoid that they are willing to risk the alienation of shareholders that have been with them for a LONG time.
While I do not lean heavily in this direction (or in other words, I do not feel this is likely the case), I do recognize it as being a possibility. If they are being truthful about not being able to get funding, then I say we have NOTHING.
I suppose it's possible that Zaiq is providing services at this time pro bono. I simply cannot imagine us having something better than ANYTHING ELSE out there yet have not been able to secure the funds. That's just not possible, especially considering all the high powered people involved here. So I'm going to shut the hell up for a little bit longer (you're welcome panda) and wait to see what happens this month. I do have one last closing comment however:
If we do not already have someone working on the ASIC and management has been collecting full salaries all this time, then we are SUNK and management deserves every single bit of criticism we give them.
Cobra, I totally respect your views and have little doubt that you accurately relay information from Brad as he gives it to you. However, that ******** about them having to pay off Adaptive is just that...********. There's no way they can get away with stalling for this long saying they're having to pay a certain amount to Adaptive while at the same time collecting huge salaries. My first impression of Brad was a very good one. Therefore, at least temporarily, I will remember that impression and give the benefit of the doubt. He just did not seem to be the type to screw around that badly. They have 30 days...
Rich McAndrew
With over 20 years of experience in the computer and technology industry serving as an executive leader and industry innovator with two patents awarded for his work in high performance floating point arithmetic and cache architecture. Prior to founding Zaiq (formerly ASIC Alliance Corp.), McAndrew served as Vice President of Hardware Development at Computervision for over 10 years. During that period, he and his organization successfully delivered more than 20 ASIC projects, including several highly complex, multi-processor and parallel processor systems. In the early 80’s, McAndrew founded Alliant Computer, considered the first company to offer a high performance, mini-supercomputer – the implementation of which pushed the state of the art in the utilization of ASICs.

That's my guess based on the number of bookings (showings) they have scheduled currently. So yes, that's my guess but it is subject to change if they schedule more showings for the first weekend.
Well if it's the closest without going over then I guess I'm screwed. LOL
Groove- $86,207 based on current bookings. EOM
Pengy- Thanks for the post. Let me explain myself a little more so that maybe you can understand where I'm coming from.
When I say "paid off", I mean listening to the endless stream of "just around the corner" retorhic coming from company officials while at the same time telling us to hold those shares. The PPS has suffered significantly. Hence the "hasn't paid off" remarks from me. Any money that anyone has made trading this stock has been due to that persons own skill in timing and executing a trade, not because of anything management has followed through on. They have successfully added more people to the BOD but we have yet to see evidence of any type of payoff there.
My point to you was this; management cannot be trusted in any way. They have not yet earned it. It is simply time for them to deliver because what they have said in the past has rarely ever matched up with what has been done. Ketch didn't even deliver the FPGA prototype as he promised.
I do not feel the need to give numerous examples because you know what I'm talking about. They did deliver Cooper and rumor has it that he quit NV because he fell in love with an oriental chick. (LOL) But we still do not have any evidence that he did a bloomin' thing for us. Delivered Ketch to us??? What has Ketch done? Nothing as far as we know.
I'm aggravated as hell that Ketch feels the need to keep us in the dark for so long. I'm aggravated as hell that many shareholders listened to timelines given in the past from Ray, Rich etc. yet sold for a loss because it took WAY longer than expected yet Ray/Rich still collect executive salaries. What do they have to say about those people who listened to and trusted them? They could care less and they prove it each and every time they get that $15,000/month paycheck AT SHAREHOLDERS EXPENSE. NOW THEY HAVE THE NERVE TO ASK FOR AN INCREASE IN THE NUMBER OF AUTHORIZED SHARES (TO 500 MILLION) FOR A SPECIFIC PURPOSE BUT WILL NOT GUARANTEE THE TRANSACTION WILL TAKE PLACE ONCE THAT HAPPENS.
Sounds fishy to me Jason. That's why I asked you to provide me with an example of where it has paid off for us to listen to management in the past. I really really want to believe them but I have ZERO basis in fact for doing so. The only difference between you and me is that you decided to believe them for whatever reason. I guess I could have been more clear and said paid off monetarily while holding our stock (as that's what management would have us do). What bothers me is that intelligent people like you seem to take whatever they say as gospel regardless of numerous examples that makes my common sense meter peg out to the max and tell me to SELL SELL SELL. I suspect that given our situation, even Mr. Ketch himself would never in a minute even dreamed of investing in this stock given the little bit of information we have currently.
I regret that I have become disenchanted with this stock. It seems that lately there are two different camps here. Those who believe and those that don't. It's regrettable that there are those who are turning their backs on and attacking those of us who are more skeptical (not necessarily referring to you, Jason). I had hoped that we could all meet one day and have a big party together. As it stands now though, I just want to get to the point that I can sell whatever stock I have and be done with this. I will NEVER EVER be a "loyal" shareholder again. Have a good one.
Pengy- Please provide ONE example of where it has paid off taking the companies word on ANYTHING. It looks to me like people have suffered IMMENSLEY while Ray, Brad, and Rich continue to collect their executive salaries.
EXCEL
We have no funding because something doesn't add up.
RIGHT ON
John Howell style posts don't cut it here anymore. IT'S RESULTS TIME. We have been mislead one too many times here. Management continues to use their "useful idiots" to informally relay differents pieces if BS to the not so useful idiots. I bet they wish we would just shut the heck up and go away but I promise that won't be happening.
Ketch...you have one month pal. If the blackout continues you had better be prepared to suffer the consequences. We will not take this slap in the face for much longer. This is a public company. Your mouth and your feet don't always go the same direction.
wheels- I'd love to come to Portland to meet more of you guys but we're down here gearing up to become full time students (once again) and will need every spare dime we have. Spoke said he wished they would have the meeting on the good side of the US. I'll have to agree that Texas would be a great place for it. :) Have a good one young man.
What I meant was if we don't get ANY TYPE of non equity funding. There would be no way that we could get the tech to market fast enough to make any type of a difference. If we need 6 million dollars as they say, they would likely need to sell around 60 million shares (give or take) to get that. That's assuming they have the credibility left to talk anyone into buying that isn't already spent out from the past 4 years. We may even have to resort to some type of floorless convertible type financing. Now I wonder if Cooper would allow that to happen? Ivan???
Just a few thoughts,
ElderWolf
pengy
"In addition, even if by some fluke the Mercatus deal does not materialize..."
Dude...if we're honest with ourselves, we would acknowledge that it would be a fluke if it DOES materialize.
Bottom line is if we don't get the funding, we're screwed. Now I'd be curious to see what you think about that.
Of all the promoters, pengy is by far my favorite. LOL
DiscDoc- It looks to me like chasing the hot trend would be the best bet to making money in the market. Have a good one.
Ex- Is that Mt. St. Helens in the picture? EOM
cosmo- I don't think the stock will do a thing. This is pretty much a huge non event at this point as far as bringing in potential new investors. And those that are in aren't likely to sell now.
34- How is a shell company purchased and then accepted onto the NASDAQ? Also, if it's on the NASDAQ already and is cheap enough for us to buy, it's likely either to be on the verge of being delisted, has a lot of debt, or both. What say ye young man?
I just read the President's Letter. Everything looks good to me as long as Mercatus gives us enough time to get revenues before having to make a payment. I'd hate to think we had to keep selling 144's to make loan payments. The only thing I don't understand is why they are only placing a 2.5 cent value on our shares.
