Jeff, Careful you bring Artie back again. See his post #11506
Just thought I'd check in as I haven't had anything to add to the discourse here. May buy about 150k more, but not until Tue to Thur. when the money will be available. Unless we have news of course which would probably change things a lot.
Back to lurking.
Good to see Larry finally delivered on something promised. And the share totals are as JR & WTL reported. So it's a start. Now, for my next trick? (Old Bullwinkle fan). We shall see what we shall see and I'll be here for it. Stu
Seems the fin. are only good in conjuction with the nobo report. Got to go.
Yes, thanks for the long update. Much appreciated by myself.
Counted 6. EOM
Seems to me the MMs have worked on narrowing the B/A a little more then usual. Don't know that it means anything, still it's nice to see. Waiting and watching. Stu
Thank You Couch. I was thinking along those same lines.
OT: Interesting way to drive up the price:
Hackers target online stock accounts
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/15392442/
...Stark said perpetrators are breaking into customer accounts and buying shares of thinly traded, microcap securities, also known as penny stocks. The hacker gains access using the customer's user name and password, then liquidates that person's existing stock holdings and uses the proceeds to buy shares in the microcap. The goal, regulators said, is to boost the price of a stock the hacker has already bought at a lower price in another account. The hacker then liquidates the stock and wires the money either to an offshore account or through a series of straw men, or dummy corporations, Stark said. The straw man may not know he is participating in fraud; he may have been told he is helping, say, an offshore business...
Pretty sure those are not an accurate reflection of the shares shorted in the market. Can't prove it though. That's why the nobo report.
Thanks Jeff. I'm going to pretend I'm living in MO. the show me state. I'm amazed how we all have stuck together on this. That's a good thing. Thanks, and have a great weekend.
Can anyone PM me (I don't have a sub, but can receive them)with any updates from Larry's trip? Really would like to know what's going on TIA (I hope).
Is this 20k or 20M? Oh, wait, you were saying July 12th?
12/07/2006 0.013 20,000 260
Opps, things have changed. Have an order to sell 1,000,000 shares @.12 - would not take $.125. Both AON or not work. That would be $607. in commision and $119,393. for my account. Guess I could live with that. :»)
Yeah, that thought about calling and placing with the broker over the phone had occurred to me and I might give it a try. The problem isn't with the AON in this case though. When I experimented with the order placement system about 2 months ago the highest price allowed was $.044 - it wouldn't take $.045 and above.
Do any of you use Scottrade? I tried to enter a GTC order for $.10 and the system told me forget it - too high.
OT: I was gone for a few days because I had both my laptops stolden as well as all the money in the house which was only about $100. The last 45 days have not been a lot of fun. Larry braking some positive news could make up for a lot of grief though.
Nope, I've tried it before and just tried again. scottrade won't even take an order for $.10
"Unable to enter the order because the limit price entered is too far away from the market price for stocks under $10."
Old news now, still it's about the 3rd alert I've gotten from Scottrade. Still it shows word is getting around.

Viva International, Inc. (OTCBB: VIVI - http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=VIVI.OB )
Viva International, Inc. CEO buying stock!!! Viva International, Inc. announced
that it plans to acquire the assets and business operations of Flight Test
Associates, LLC of Tucson, Arizona in a transaction that will result in Viva
issuing an 8% secured subordinated promissory note for $2 million that will
mature on December 31, 2006 and 3.5 million shares of preferred stock.
Flight Test Associates, LLC (FTA) was organized in 2001 to meet demands created
by a government requirement to modify A-37s for airborne intercept in Peru &
Columbia.
Currently, FTA develops prototype systems, performs systems integration and
manned and unmanned aircraft modifications, as well as flight test and flight
operations support services. In recent years, FTA has concentrated its efforts
on the design and development of instrumented Aircraft Engine Test Stands as
well as shifting its emphasis from operational training to engineering support
for Pratt & Whitney engine development programs.
FTA generated revenues of $3.1 million in 2005 and $3.5 million through August
31, 2006. Company management expects revenues of approximately $4.0 million for
2006 and has forecast revenues for 2007 at $6.0 million.
Calvin Humphrey, Viva's Chairman & CEO, commented, "The acquisition of the
assets and operations of Flight Test Associates gives Viva a fundamentally
strong subsidiary presence in a niche aviation related industry. This
acquisition combined with the recent agreement to acquire the assets of River
Hawk Aviation is intended to send the message that Viva is expanding its focus
along the lines of aviation-related businesses. However, the desire to operate
airlines through the Caribbean is still paramount to my plans for Viva. In my
opinion, our recent activities are bringing complementary and profitable
entities into the holding company which in turn should create value. The
increased value of the acquisitions should create increased financial capability
and assist us in our build-out of our Caribbean aviation entities as well as
providing the necessary support for other complementary acquisitions. In
closing, the integration of Flight Test Associates as well as River Hawk
Aviation into the Viva family of companies gives us unique market and
contractual opportunities with major aviation suppliers that are intended to
help us drive revenues and profits."
About Viva International
Viva International has a number of airline and aviation-related interests
including two developmental-stage carriers being readied to operate in regional
markets from hubs in Puerto Rico and Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and a
United States-based aircraft brokerage and parts reseller and distributor.
The Company plans to create a network of regionally based airlines across the
Caribbean, eventually to be linked to key points in the United States, Latin
America, South America, and Europe and intends to concentrate on creating
strategic partnerships and acquisitions in aviation-related niche markets and
opportunities.
At present, the Company maintains executive offices in Michigan and Texas.
American Way Business Development Corporation (Pink Sheets: AWYB -
http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=AWYB.PK )
American Way Business Development Corporation ("AWYB" or the "Company") today
formally notified NASDAQ of the details of its far-ranging corporate
reorganizations. Specifically, in connection with the previously announced
transaction with the Harvard Learning Centers, Inc., AWYB is changing its
jurisdiction of incorporation from Delaware to Florida, changing the name of the
Corporation from American Way Business Development Corporation to the Harvard
Learning Centers, Inc., requesting a new NASD symbol and, most importantly,
subject to meeting all NASD requirements, INSTITUTING A MANDATORY RECALL OF THE
CURRENT AWYB CERTIFICATES TO BE REPLACED BY NEW CERTIFICATES WITH THE NEW NASD
SYMBOL AND A NEW CUSIP NUMBER.
Don Platten, President, stated, "We did not want to do a mandatory cert recall,
but reviewing the discrepancies between the NOBO list, the DTC and the
shareholder list and taking into account the views of our advisers, we felt we
had no choice. The advantage of this approach," Mr. Platten states, "is that
once the certs are pulled, the shorts will have no place left to hide."
The other alternative available to the Company was to do a forensic audit of the
shareholders, particularly the 40 or so brokerage accounts. After careful review
of that option, the Company decided that that particular approach was
cost-prohibitive, and some advisers warned that it was unclear whether that
approach would necessarily uncover the true number of the shorts.
Mr. Platten adds, "I know that a lot of shareholders are asking for a specific
number of shorts. The sad answer is that we don't know for sure but that it is
clearly in the number of millions. It is hoped that the mandatory cert exchange,
once it is finalized, will resolve the problem once and for all. We encourage
our shareholder base to watch for updates as they occur."
Equitable Mining Corp. (Pink Sheets: EQBM - http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=EQBM.PK
)
Equitable Mining Corp. announces it has begun the program it has been planning
for a couple of weeks to address potential short positions in Equitable's stock
that management believes needs to be researched and examined to ensure integrity
in the marketplace for its shares.
The various information available to the Company has begun to be received, such
as the Company's Non Objecting Beneficial Ownership (Nobo) List, DTC position
reports and transfer agent records. Company management will diligently review,
examine and, in effect, audit its share numbers to give the Company a concise
look at the specific ownership positions of Equitable's shares.
The Company is making some carefully planned strides to improve its performance
by implementing new business lines and pursuing quality acquisitions. This
verification program, management feels, is essential in making sure that it has
a solid foundation in order to build shareholder value.
If the Company's research and examination find an imbalance in regards to the
reported short positions, the shares that are out in the public and the total
shares issued and outstanding the Company will act to correct the problem.

Ok, someone slipped up. No double posts yet. The shorts must be asleep at the switch.
Morning. I have an old roommate moving back in to replace the one I've asked to move out (the Fed thing). So now I can afford to sit and wait for Larry to get around to actually accomplishing something. Hope I don't die of old age first.
So, is anyone trying to buy any at the ask this morning?
Anyone know if the news this morning is causing any ripples on any other boards yet?
In total agreement zoro.
I wonder how many will sell when they get to break even. I vote for not me. I'm waiting for the big upside.
It's good to see Larry is still alive. The good - the NOBO list and a PR. The bad - That PR is the worst kind of vague, but if it's followed up on in the next few weeks this could be the start of something really big.
Need coffee.
I know, when I saw that 100 at the end of the day (a signal amount?)on the upside I was a little stunned.
P.S. now don't go making fun of me. Us little stunned could someday ban together and form a nation we will call "Amazed". The most common trait of our species will a dropped jaw and staring into the distance in disbelief with a pleasant little smile on the faces of the populace from watching little green lights on the computer.
I know,I know, wishful thinking, but it could happen with news.
Didn't think it was you Couch, to small. Here's the last few:
3:59:52 PM Trade 0.009 100
3:44:28 PM Trade 0.0079 1000
3:44:26 PM Trade 0.009 1000
3:40:18 PM Trade 0.007 200000
The last 3 look like MMs for sure.
And forced the ask up to .009 while you were at it. WTG, now people will have to pay more. :) Then the MMs did a 1k trade to make it stick. Thanks.
JR, I e-mailed as you suggested (1.35M shares). Now, could you or someone else explain why the NOBO report would make a MATERIAL difference? I'm barey awake (off today for Columbus Day)so I'll be around to read it any response. TIA
I think you guys have been smoking too much of that bud as far as this numerology stuff goes. Really, but then again that's just my opinion.
Well, I've figuired out my finances (losing my roommate and his $525. a month) and since I have 1.35 million shares, if I sell 100k a month starting next month I can continue to wait for news from Larry. That's the name of that tune.
Dart, you make reading entrails a lot of fun. Thanks.
I agree, it's mostly fundemental. Still a long flat base line looks really good when good news comes along. What it means to me is that there isn't a lot of day flipers prior to the news. I do wonder if & when people will sell at break even. That's what happens when a person has been in a stock for (what they consider)to long a time. With a little luck the pps will shoot right buy the break even price for most of us and that won't be a problem.
Bigdogs, I think you hit the nail on the head. And I really don't care about Equador as was being talked about earlier. I think it's to far down the road for me.
I don't fear you, just not crazy about sour grapes is all.
Your lack of understanding of your emotions and how it influences your buys & sells. Course it's your money. What I fear is you have an agenda because you now seem to want to be proven right in your decision to sell.
Was that 250k yours?
TThat is strange indeed. Maybe they've finally bought enough @.006 and would like to sell some shares? Congrats on the cheap pick-up.
OOOh, the MMs are getting soft. Bid went up to .0065. Looks like I didn't miss much this last weekend. Off today so nothing will happen & it will be a boring day, at least that's what usually happens.
weske, your viewpoint is what it is, however, it has nothing to do with my post as far as I can tell. I was explaining what I thought were the mechanics of the Bid & Ask of this stock. It's true I expect it to go over $.05 in the relativly near future though.
