interesting how you cant give a good pick red. But turn it green and everybody loves it.
grow is fine-enjoy the dips to add.

MWY-7.75
CHICAGO, Apr 6, 2004 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Midway Games Inc. (NYSE:MWY) announced today that it expects its operating results for the three months ended March 31, 2004 to be ahead of the financial guidance provided by the Company on February 25, 2004. For the quarter ended March 31, 2004, Midway expects revenues of approximately $18.0 million, or 50% more than the Company's previously issued revenue guidance of $12.0 million. Midway also projects a net loss for the quarter smaller than the Company's previously issued guidance of $19.0 million but not proportionate to the increase in the revenue guidance for the quarter. Midway attributed the improved financial outlook primarily to strong initial sales of the Company's recently released action-horror game The Suffering. Midway released The Suffering for PlayStation 2 and Xbox on March 8, 2004.
do I win a t-shirt? Lol :)
holy crap!!!,, Now I can bandage my head?,,hey that GNRL has alot to gain as the world econs 'get on-line"
Course I still love my defensive plays- even more when they are red,, I like adding then,,, dor will wake up soon, grow,, just some daytraders and stops getting hit etc..
yip, cant go wrong with artx
kind of surprised no one has talked much about this one,, loaded up last week long- so much potentual and already "in" with the military
GNRL 3.0-3.10,has a gap to fill from 1999 of $5.50,Float->2.00M

ENG-someone is buying for a run.
ENG-wiggley and a good long
not for me,, I profiled it here and on my n/l,, for security momo,, then I read a yahoo board that had a post for a $6 target,, -no im not buying it now-- I got in cheap and sold most holding just a bit to see where it goes.
mflutie-include yourself too,,, ps- to save on posts,, ENG is wiggly+ as for grow,, mms need to get as many shares as they can,, buy the dips under 5.25
KABOOMERS: rtk,tbus,grow,-just a few,,+ soon: geb,artx,dor,eng,tsic, and a few unposted
GROW-already took out the 10dmavol- that was easy-lol
posted others to watch for dips to go long:
ENG, ARTX,BETA
part of this mornings newsletter notes: on bloomberg this morning, an anal discussed the need for bio/pharms to get busy with m&a's for future growth in E's. Their primary focus was oncology and cancer phase 2 and phase 3 stocks. They noted that the prospects of many of these companies was huge when they clear their phase 3 trials and were selling very cheap. We have plenty of these kind of stocks hitting the scans. Below I will list 2 favs I have and why:
GEB-sort of a 'nano' cancer play in phase 3,, the idea behind their drug delivery is pinpoint direct treatment of tumors within the head and neck area. This reduces the normal facial disfigurement that usually comes with treating those kinds of cancers.-less social pain for the patient and less costs for insurance companies in reconstruction of the face. chart says it may get a 200dma (1.20+/-),, but may not happen. During the recent market decline GEB held up well with a dip to 1.40 that was bought with volume. tends to trade as if 1.50 is the low point. I do expect this to hit the scans again soon. So if you are interested in going long on the stock,, consider red nibbles with profits from your runners.-
DOR-biopharmaceutical company focused on biodefense vaccines and therapeutics for unmet medical needs.
Significant progress made in enrollment in the pivotal phase III clinical trial for lead product orBec® (beclomethasone 17, 21-dipropionate);
Exclusively licensed a novel recombinant ricin vaccine candidate to protect against ricin toxin exposure.
Expansion of DOR's biodefense program through the in-licensing of a botulinum toxin vaccine.
note- the banks have alot to gain in a sudden m&a season for bio/pharm
energy- the oil fight is still being argued, look at other areas in the fuels that arent oil dependent. RTK is our recent scan stock, it works with coal technology.
Other areas of defense incluse foods, water and homeland security area,,, too many to list from recent scans. Many have popped a bit and some have found base. LUCY is the 'cheese' play and is nearly ready for another pop- it is a very low vol stock, but should wake up well and run when it does.
I believe all of these stocks are worth going long on, and of course GROW,,, plenty of posts and reasons already pounded into the table clear down to the floormat my chair sits on.
magic,, I did put a $20+ (24-28) target on grow by winter- a week or so ago,, somewhere on yahoo,, some short had alot of my posts removed..
GROW--"Such adventures have paid off in other ways. His $250 million Global Resources Fund is the No.1-ranked natural-resources offering for the past one, two and three years, returning 99.56%, 135%, and 103%, respectively, over those spans, according to fund tracker Lipper. Global Resources has begun 2004 in fine shape: It's up 2.46%, surpassing the 1.90% gain of its peers and the Standard & Poor's 500's 0.84%."

that was written 1/19/04,, incredible return history,, and the street still did NOT pay attention- it still traded in the same range of 3.75-4.25 from jan til now...ok,, you can say it ran from $2-$5 from sept'03-jan'04,, on no volume,, not the street,, just some minor volume--stock per chart has never really gotten volume til now.
So if this were some tech company with these kind of results for thier clients,, what would it be trading for? I dont know,, but I know it would be trading much higher.. And that doesnt even factor in the low overhead,, reduced low debt,, expected in-flows from new clients based on rate of return they have been able to give to their clients in the past..
Concerning the gold aspect of their funds,, I like not having to dd a bunch of pmu's, I like the fact they have been doing it for many years. And out of all the goldbugs newsletters and trash I see out there,, they keep a more reasonable view of the metals,, they didnt give the impression on cnbc the other day of "to the moon" for gold,,, I have seen plenty of goldbug'ers do just that-
emerging markets-now that is a wide open arena with china coming online now and libia trying and in a few years with cuba.
so the grow the stock is not keeping pace with grow the companies rate of return for clients. Is jpm, ml, shwab doing this well for their clients? -i do doubt it.
so I am not going to sit around every day worrying if GROW goes up .20 or up 2.00,,,, it has to start moving fast as the street finds it.
getting ready to run out the door,, if anyone has a cartoon of a person beating their head against a table,, let me know,, because pounding the table with posts doesnt work for me- lol
mflutie-bingo,, and cheap too,, I expect expotentual growth in the share price going forward.
grow- gave me free ride on the wht/iag move, they like AGT --i posted my other 2 metals plays are GBN+AGT,, the agt part was just a 'got lucky' part on my behalf as to it pertaining to the choices I had. -had no idea they like it too.
GROW,,$7 easy target nearterm,, much higher going forward and my views:
a primary reason for profiling GROW recently (twice) they are a fund company that invests in emerging markets and the metals,,(that gives me exposure to the growth factor of emerging markets and the safer way to play gold-imho,, let them do the investing and dd work in the metals like they have for years),, and I can own them instead,, and by doing so,,, sort of own gold by proxy and means I dont have to chase or watch a bunch of them.
oh yeah,, almost forgot,, thanks
you guys have a great weekend-
when he cant win, he runs it .25+
yip-he sniffs for stops
biggest disappointment of the week for me: geb not dropping to 1.20
trust me ,, mm does that all the time to stall
spray the whole yard with weed kill,, no work in the yard for 2-3 weeks,,, course the dead brown stuff can get depressing <g>
been a great week,, enjoy the weekend,, go play poker :)
ps careful on close stops,, those mms love to hit them
fwiw- this was well profiled in my n/l,, we arent selling,, or daytrading,, as far as I know,, I dont have 'daytraders so much,, more like old longs with a winter time frame
