GROW--"Such adventures have paid off in other ways. His $250 million Global Resources Fund is the No.1-ranked natural-resources offering for the past one, two and three years, returning 99.56%, 135%, and 103%, respectively, over those spans, according to fund tracker Lipper. Global Resources has begun 2004 in fine shape: It's up 2.46%, surpassing the 1.90% gain of its peers and the Standard & Poor's 500's 0.84%."

that was written 1/19/04,, incredible return history,, and the street still did NOT pay attention- it still traded in the same range of 3.75-4.25 from jan til now...ok,, you can say it ran from $2-$5 from sept'03-jan'04,, on no volume,, not the street,, just some minor volume--stock per chart has never really gotten volume til now.

So if this were some tech company with these kind of results for thier clients,, what would it be trading for? I dont know,, but I know it would be trading much higher.. And that doesnt even factor in the low overhead,, reduced low debt,, expected in-flows from new clients based on rate of return they have been able to give to their clients in the past..

Concerning the gold aspect of their funds,, I like not having to dd a bunch of pmu's, I like the fact they have been doing it for many years. And out of all the goldbugs newsletters and trash I see out there,, they keep a more reasonable view of the metals,, they didnt give the impression on cnbc the other day of "to the moon" for gold,,, I have seen plenty of goldbug'ers do just that-

emerging markets-now that is a wide open arena with china coming online now and libia trying and in a few years with cuba.

so the grow the stock is not keeping pace with grow the companies rate of return for clients. Is jpm, ml, shwab doing this well for their clients? -i do doubt it.

so I am not going to sit around every day worrying if GROW goes up .20 or up 2.00,,,, it has to start moving fast as the street finds it.
