Thank you both for the info. Kama, I have to admit the info about hedging is over my head for now. And TMM I'll definitely pm on Friday.
Just noticed that myself. Everyone waiting for inventory numbers?? BYW thank you for your PM, I've been paying attention to your posts..
I have to say that though I'm sure oil will rebound eventually, its not difficult to see how trading this volatility will produce alot more profits than just buying and holding. It just requires the right skill set, tools and experience. my hope is that the many knowledgable PPl on this board are willing to impart some to the rest of us.
Thank you for you reply Kama, I'm always willing to listen and learn from good advice, like it or not. I've made some small profit from UWTI but realize that I don't have enough experience to do it as effectively as I should. As for options, though I have a very basic understanding of how they work I'm not at all knowledgable to trade them yet. I'm doing my research and learning but the up and down movements of Uwti presents opportunity here and I hope to be able to find some willing advice and good guidance. I only trade a few K$ that I wouldn't miss if I loose but all the same would prefer not to loose. I am willing to take risks in order to gain experience. So any advice is appreciated. Thanks again for your response.
TMYZ no help yet. Sorry I'm not a premium member.
Kama, would love to have some advice on trade strategy, I have 2k shares @avg $4.11 have a few K$ ready to make another buy. Only been trading the U, but not experienced enough. Email @ dwilso24@man.com if you're willing to advise. Thanks for your help.
No need to yell brah, this is an open forum anyone is allowed to state any opinion. Hope you calm down a little. Have a great Holliday. GLTY.
Point taken but been so stagnant for past several week gives me pause.
Thank you, watching closely.
Yeah, I agree this is looking pretty bleak.
Agree looking for same next day or two. Here's to hoping.
Ihub shows WTI at $36.11 but dailyfx.com shows U.S oil @ $34.11 can anyone explain this difference?
You've gotta lock in profits every time and never regular the tax man. He's gonna get his due regardless. You can't let that sway you from locking in you profits!!!
I agree. Very possible
Why the drop?
The biggest draw her for me was the cancellation of almost 247 mm shares of common stock. I have never seen that done by an OTC company before. Seems quite significant. W'll see what happens.
iPhone is under the strictest lock down before it premiers like no body's business. Remember when someone accidentally left a prototype on a bar before it came out??? It was the biggest scandal. Oh well maybe it's a scam and maybe not. For now it's up pretty good so take profits or ride it. That's the game! You know? A gamble!
Does anyone know when the next report is due out for Hrtx? TIA.
What do they do? Can't really get depth on the co.
Why did this double today? I saw the fins but don't see the reason for it doubling. Any insight from the cognoscenti? TIA. Appreciate the help.
Ok thank you.
What time is the report due out please?
.39% and .37% respectively not that red!
Ding! Ding!Ding! This person is a genius! And oil is the life's blood of a well outfitted, well armed nation.
What would the price reaction of oil be if Saudi Arabia cut production by 10%? I'm guessing drastic and irrational and somewhat sustained. And how would that offset their losses due to declining prices while boosting income to other OPEC member nations. Which would all occur way before Iran is able to boost their production and bring any additional oil to market. So strategically it makes sense to cut production ASAP and resume in a year when Iran oil is closer to market. U.S market share is less of a factor in winter months.
So I was wondering with all this talk of the micros of oil and how they affect pricing, and have come to just a few questions that nags me. I know a lot of people here have so much more experience with trading, understanding charts and are able to combine many tools and news events to make an informed guess as to which way WTI is more likely to move. Therefore I'm hoping to get some insight into these ideas. Here goes.... If shorting is being done by the Saudies, Russians and other OPEC members, aren't the American and Europeans also shorting oil? If so then it serves to have the price going down for as long as possible but no one comes out ahead of the other, so all we en up with is a war of attrition, no? But; one factor that didn't change is that the oil being sold at increasingly lower prices, is still a finite commodity and as such will deminish over time. With that in mind, the only way to really win is to let the price of oil rise and hold onto as much of the precious commodity for as long as possible. Unless of course, the people who are selling it short are the ones buying it and storing it at lower prices and are just playing the price action on the short side until it's time to run the price up again? Ha that idea just makes my head hurt. Anyway, my ramble is to say that in my opinion, oil prices are headed back up. Venezuela, Russia, Nigera and other OPEC member states are suffering a lot more from the depressed prices that are the U.S. Nat. Gas CO's. OPEC has to
Cut production.
Yes I think $58 by Friday, then 67 by following Friday. And $70's by mid October. $100 by EOY. OPEC will cut production. Glty.
It's not the summer travel season that will cause oil to surge, it's the sto season in the Atlantic that will make oil fly back to mid $60pb also Mid East tension will pressure The Saudi's. This will move up just like it moved down in the next 2 months.
And to that I say .. Amen!
What or how long would you wait for? Is there a price target you have in mind where you come back in? And it seems that yesterday's downgrade had such a strong influence on the sell off but today's upgrade is not contributing what so ever. Thanks for your response.
Thank you for your very detailed and informative response. I do however still believe that at these levels this is quite oversold. Keep in mind at the levels of pps of $60's $70's, $80's and 90's the time frame for revenues were essentially the same while the prospect of FDA ruling was uncertain. I believe there is an opportunity here to make some money between 50's and 80's
So what do you think is causing the large drop today?
Amen to that sir! Good luck all.
Thanks again for your help
Ha FINALLY!!!
Seems like I can't even predict the past accurately.
Ok my guess is 01/14/2016@3:45:45pm
Wow I can't believe that this is proving to be so difficult for me. Haha.
Ok just did it again. Thanks for the heads up.
Ok my guess is 01/14/2015 @3:45:45pm
