Glad to be of service. If we cant at least laugh at PTI then why are we here. More dramatics tomorrow?
It is a common ocurrance with small companies who dont have the big bucks for test websites to be run in the background. Take the site off line, try the new data out to see how it looks, then put it back until your ready for the unveiling. Remember we aint Microsoft who can test and post a new page update seamlessly. Course it could be smoke and mirrors. At least there are some good dramatics this time:)

Yes hopefully this is the beginning of a blitz and not just a one time PR.
Yay .09! Im having trouble keeping up here:)
Interesting, asks floating upwards but no takers.
Bids & asks keep growing above .07. Youve got to think there is anticipation for the Nov 1 date. I wonder if they'll let it run this week?
I dunno what those trades are. Ive heard other boards speculate that it is MM's 'communicating' with each other. Doesnt seen to add up to anything logical so one would have to assume they are planned trades, for whatever reason?
82500 all traded at the high to close the day. Someone wanted to get some.
Ahh, back to normal values.
Asking .0015 this morning, for a change.
Nice support at .07 and up to start the week (good to see it moving away from .06), asks lined up between .09 and .12. I guess this is the week we wil see if there is a runnup to the Nov 1 handover of the battery.
News story today - Activists defending the rights of the seeing and hearing disabled are lobbying against manufacturers of hybrid vehicules because they 'Are too quiet', these people cant hear (or see) them coming, and therefore they are a danger to society.
I know its a valid point, but somtimes I wonder how this world is ever going to advance. It doesnt matter how good a product is, how much good it does for the world, there is always someone there to whine about it.
PS, I am disabled myself so dont try to give me a guilt trip.
More, but OT - Letter to the editor in the local paper today, someone wrote in asking why the government hasnt made it a priority to remove all railway crossings from within city limits! See my point? Always something to whine about. This person will probably also be the first to complain when there's a traffic increase due to bringing all those goods into the city from the rail yards out in the boonies.
Ok enough, Im done whining for now.
Awesome. This ought to shut up some of the bashers. I cant wait to hear how the naysayers are going to debunk this info!
Tkx
Thats twice in the last 2 weeks Ive had a $3mill blip in my account. Fun Fun Fun.
Whats with the $40 a share spike on the chart? I think we all missed the run! LOL
That's it, I going fishin.
OT - As recently discussed here regarding stocks 'doing what they are supposed to in reaction to news'.
News out this morning - 'Zarlink Semiconductor reports second quarter loss as sales fall'. So the stock opens UP, 10% this morning!
Bad news, stock goes up, go figure.
Could you possibly explain the trade matching, I dont see the point. tkx.
ETRD in at 100.08 this time. Sure has loose fingers. I bet its kerberos going fishing!
The bids were firming up (along with the asks) this morning but its all moved off now. Sure is a lot of jockeying with the orders this week.
Finally got a chance to watch the Money TV interview with BJW. I was intrigued with what he would say about the company, and that if it were all lies, why he would go on international television and make those comments, you know, with him being a laywer and all. I was more intrigued by the way he handled himself, firstly looking like a rookie at doing an on camera interview, but mostly at how he came off with the appearance of a child who just got everything he asked for at Christmas. I got the feeling he cant believe what got dropped in his lap and the potential that it has.
Anyway, Im not looking for any rebuttles or opinions on what I have said here so dont bother posting them. The interview could be taken many ways, with potentially both positive and negetive spins. Believe me, Ive already run through in my own mind most of the questions you could probably ask. Whether Im right or wrong, time will tell, its just my 2 cents on what I saw.
Well, you know, I assume youre correct in that assessment but I cant help but wonder about a couple of things. 1. These B&A's are supposed to be posted by professional (yes I use that term loosely) traders, and they sure seem to make a lot of mistakes? (not just in PTI, this is happening everywhere and more often. EPYH, a 1 cent stock, traded for $8 last Friday!). 2. If it was a mistake, why dont they change it? Are they not even checking their orders?
Just makes me wonder. Hmm.
Well hasher is right about one thing, unlimited posts rule. And as I am now out of posts, a first for me by the way, I bid you all adieu until tomorrow (or $100 a share, which ever comes first:). Everyone try to sleep off some of the hostility.
Nice ask $100.09 ETRD. I can see the $100, but whats with the .09?:)
On a more serious note, it does look like its showing signs of climbing again, for whatever reason.
Nice, did you sell? Its done that a couple of times, not quite to that extreme though. Most likely someone too quick on the sell button. $8 is a wierd number though, usually its a multiple of something with a decimal out of place. Oh well the $3.3 mill looked good in my account, for a second:) A sign of things to come!
I can say that Level II quotes are down right now. Must be a PTI conspiracy:)
I am saying that if you, or I, or anyone thinks that they know the be all, end all reasoning as to why any stock goes up or down, they are kidding themselves. They are all just unprovable theories. You see what you want from the trend and I see something different, and the next guy sees something else. None of us can prove what is really going on. Once again people, NONE OF US WILL KNOW THE TRUTH UNTIL IT IS TOO LATE (note this can be positive or negetive for those readers from RB who no doubt will only see the word negetive). This is where sayings like 'If Id only sold last week' and 'I knew I shoulda bought more' come from. You makes your buys and sells and hope to break above even. There is money to be made in all markets, going up, or going down. The reasoning does not matter (dont look at gift horse in the mouth?). You can make money by being a trader and you can make money by holding long term. Either method, sometimes you win, sometimes you dont.
Some here feel that PTI's time has come. For them, what happened 7 years in the past does not matter, heck last month doesnt matter. The time is now. Others feel that PTI is the same old story and will continue the old ways. I guess we'll know 7 years from now. What time frame should we measure in? What if come Nov 1 nothing happens? The naysayers will be out in full force. What if Nov 2 they deliver a battery and name the manufacturer? The pros will be all over the nays. Either case could develop from there, in either direction. What if they deliver the battery and the stock goes to $5 and then 6 months later the tests fail and we're at .001? Who was right? The yea's won their battle, but so did the nay's! So what's the point?
Discuss the options. Unfortunatly we dont get a daily play by play and have to wait for a PR to know whats going on. In the meantime, why bother bashing each other around?
The first stock I ever bought was Canadian Pacific. The first PR that came out was great news, and the stock went down. Another PR, and the stock went down again. Third PR, same result, so I call my broker to ask WTF. I was a small time trader but he took the time anyway to explain several market reaction theories to me. 1.5 years later I sold the stock for a 73% gain. It just took that long for the PRs to fully develop. Why? No one really knows, that just how it goes sometimes. Your answer and my answer, they are all theories. The markets do whatever they want. Someone stated previously that PTI is up 300% since BJW came aboard. Pretty damn good ROI if you ask me. Look to the future buddy, the past will only bring you many nights with the pepto bottle:)
LOL, I think youd better ask logman first.
Cumon hasher, 'Buy on speculation, sell on confirmation'. You could apply the 'high volume after a PR' theory to any stock. Thats normal trading activity. Most stocks also go down after a PR. How one interprets that is the real story and no one on the planet can confirm that for real. I guess they are all paper mills?
Well, as you have noticed, I am back after a week off. Just finished scanning the posts, replied to a few. Not sure what to make of the 'conversation' lately. 'If you keep your head while those around you are losing theirs...' Im glad you are all separated by a computer, that was quite the cat scratching going on. I prefer to wait for confirmation, good or bad. Seems like most of what was said had already been said (many times) over the past 7 years. If youre looking for 'same old, same old, there it is. What will the week of Nov. 1 bring us?
I see high volume on the upswings. That denotes buying. Dumpers tend to trade at or near the highs and on the way down, after all, they know where those highs are dont they?
Thank you for clarifying. EOM
I am basing my numbers on: When I bought the stock there were 16+ mill OS. At the end of the LB era there were 125+ mill OS. Post BJW coming on there have been less than 5 mill new shares created, as per filings. I think you can do the math from there.
Note I have not included the information posted by gamood last week as I have not been able to review it yet, and the question did come before that info anyway. I dont predict the future.
we have a Submarine test (a tremendous market)....except they're waiting on a battery ( for 6 months!).
I am still waiting for a reply on this as someone here stated that Nutyco was in the first PR video touting the PTI battery. Does than not mean that they received their prototype?
Youre kidding me right? Rising volume with rising share price indicates buying in a stock not dumping. This is investing 101.
LB dumped 110 million shares over 5 years and accomplished nothing.
BJW has 'dumped' 5 million shares over 1.5 years and appears (yes I will grant you the word 'appears' until we get confirmation) to have the company moving forward.
Yes, now I see that the bleeding is continuing at a rampant rate. Just had to put it down in black and white. (can you hear the sarchasm there?).
Interesting how these numbers come and go. If you are going to 'fish' at such a price why not leave the order in for a while. Did they suspect something was up for that day? Did it get pulled because they expect something more than that price now? Were they just teasing the market? The ask at $20 has been there nearly a year. Now thats what I call fishing.
Hey Mil
Are we expecting anything major from this? I wonder if they will announce developments in regard to RSHN? Was this planned or did it just come out of the blue?
Good post hasher. Those who have been around a long time have been burnt and should not dwell on the same ol stuff. However that goes both ways. Many a company had endured years of failures before becoming a huge success. Many here believe our time has come. Whether we are correct or not remains to be seen. For those who have been around a long time it will mean only recouping some losses (unless they have dared to average down). However new investors still have the potential for great gains whould PTI pull through (or even through P&D flips)and they should not be shyed away by ghosts of the past (note to pumpers, this includes positives from the past as well). We all need to look at PTI in the here and now. The future cannot be proven until it occurrs and although we must learn from the past none of what happened is proof of what will occurr in the future.
! Thats the second biggest battery Ive ever seen.
In memory of Don Adams, aka Maxwell Smart - 1923 - 2005.
Of course Im kidding, twas sarchasm. I alway get a kick when someone buys 200 shares of a 8 cent stock. There's just no explaination for that. What, they needed a bubblegum fix?
No substance lately to provide support. Id be surprised to see it drop much below .01 though, there seems to be support at that level. Kind of a dry period right now waiting for the PR's to come into reality. If they do we will zoom in a hurry. In the meantime its just another 'play'.
