Also, I think SIIR should be completing the editing stage soon. It was handed over to the editor about 6 weeks ago.
We should hear something this week regarding the meeting between CEO James and TKO pres Stephane Patry at UFC 60 this past weekend.
Also, could hear updates on foreign distr. of ATIN from Cannes and possibly info on the buyers report filed from Cannes for SIIR.
Thats a boxing match, blur. Never Submit is an MMA film
Don't they have an unlimited AS?
Never Submit's budget is 1-3M, roughly the same as SIIR.
SIIR cost 2.7M to produce while ATIN was around 100K.
You are correct...if US carrier news comes it will jump.
BKMP will dilute into this run..Sandy needs a little dough, bud. Beware, tons of churning at .0008 tommorrow and could be back at .0003x.0004

"A very interesting clip on the differences between Kung Fu and Jujitsu. I guess martial arts movies would be pretty boring if the guys were rolling around on the floor the whole time, but it looks liek there is a clear advantage to Jujitsu."
wrong...UFC was created to determine which art was superior, ground based grappling, striking and kicking, etc. The Gracie family and Jujitsu has been proven superior over the years combined with a good striking program like kickboxing. Take a look at Pride FC fighters who dominates??
Exactly, I was at Hooters on Sat. night watching UFC 60 on PPV. The place was mobbed, mostly 18-25 year olds. Advertising execs know that the 18-34 year old male demographic is one of the hardest to reach. Sponsors will be lining up for this one.
Really?? You must be a rookie.
"It is my belief that there are people out there who are out to make a quick buck. There are a lot of ways to do that. The only way to make a living long term is to focus on longevity and to building a reputation. No matter what, it is important for me to maintain my integrity. I have a long-term plan for this company and I want to see it through."
From the CEO letter on April 19, 2006
Doesn't sound like most pinkie CEO's to me.
Might be a good idea for all of us to call in to the radio show and at least give a decent plug for IPRE. Questions like, "Are you guys a publicly traded company? How can I invest in your company?" type q's are good. IMO of course
MMA movie has a budget of 1-3M.
SIIR isn't finished yet..how the hell can you sell a movie that isn't a finished product. Relax and enjoy the ride. They have generated interest and distributors want to see the complete, edited movie.
The MMA world is waiting for a film that will do their great sport justice. James' grew up with MMA and is a huge, passionate fan of the sport. There is no way he would let down the true MMA fans with Never Submit.
Sounds like a good deal <e>
OT: Chiphlder--thanks.
I doubt there are any written offers at this point. The film isn't finished yet.
Why would they want the present offers to be publicly known? Wouldn't that hurt them in future negotiations??
They will be entering the film into all the film festivals for promotional purposes and additional distribution. They will have a deal secured well before that, IMO. Once its completed, probably in the next month or so, they will begin negotiations with all the contacts made at Cannes.
Good stuff..chip, we often bang heads on our differing DD, but I respect you all the same as a trader.
ROTFLMAOWCU--5/15/2006 Here is the link. ENJOY!!

They are in the final editing stage right now. The movie did go over budget with the foreign filming and thats why they sold shares.
IPRE on national XM radio tonight???
Its being released in December, so I would expect they will land a distr. deal by fall at the latest.
Thanks for posting that..good stuff. Hopefully, we hear more news on ATIN next week.
Time Warner Bros??? You crack me up, bro. No, Arrow was just announced about 10 days ago.
Warner Bros. Pictures is doing 'Arrow'.
Directed by Rob Cohen
http://imdb.com/name/nm0003418/
3 MMA movies should be released in 2006
1) Never Submit
2) Arrow
3) One Shot
I think the first movie to the market will be a winner, and the others may be lost in the shuffle.
Negative.
I hate to say I told you so, but..Posted by: J-Rhino

give it 45 days, lexo. Thank me later. Memorial Day.
most reviews I read said it was a disaster..
"Movies this bad don’t often get released anymore, a circumstance that instantly raises the curiosity factor of All That I Need. Although the film’s national release is quite limited, it is still an impressive accomplishment considering its technical weaknesses and gross cynicism toward human nature."

But the fighters dont get paid too well...so, they'll jump at a chance to star in Never Submit. Especially, since James is well known in the MMA community and will be true to the sport.
I don't know, it was only in 93 theaters in 8 states. 400k budget.
"We plan to market the movie for further distribution opportunities at this year's Cannes Film Market, which is from May 17th-28th. Last year this movie got a standing ovation in screenings at the Cannes Film Market."
We could hear something about All That I Need on Tuesday as well. DVD deals, Netflix, Blocbuster, etc.
Not to me..I want to know who is going to be cast in Never Submit movie, directors, etc. I'd love nothing more than to accumulate a few million under .003 over the next couple months.
2 possible Tues. PR's
1) Update from UFC 60--casting, Georges St. Pierre
2) Update from Cannes if they decide to actually report any offers they received for SIIR. Generally contract negotiations aren't made public info but could provide ballpark figures.
SIIR's budget was 20x that of your "drug" co. Try 8M.
