Slightly OT:
Nevermind the lightweight battery, how about a lightweight engine!
http://www.techeblog.com/index.php/tech-gadget/functional-paper-v8-engine
Actually its a Sunday, but thats just semantics eh:) Do you think BJW would lie on a Sunday considering where he lives?
9-11, that cant be good.
Youre slacking hasher. It took you a whole 40 minutes to beef about this one. Perhaps it is just those items that Mr. Walter is going to clarify?!
Bid .10, ask at .11 now. New asks in at .15 and .20 (x2). They keep moving up for some reason. ?
Yeah thats it eh, dont make too much noise and no one will notice.
Yet another sheep pic? Although appropriate Im begining to wonder about your fixation with sheep:)
What I find amazing is that LB was allowed to take the reins of PTI and remain at the helm as long as he did with no resistance. I guess not calling AGM's helps.
If link doesnt work, on their website click News and scroll down.
http://www.pwtcbattery.com/former.htm
Well it was fun while it lasted. Now we know what the OS is:)
The do seem to be filling in the gaps at bid when they occurr between .09 and .10. Seems to be interest in supporting the price at this level.
Any thoughts on the locked up shares coming free in Jan?. As per my post to hasher I assume that they agreed to lock up in expectation of being able to sell a year later at much higher prices. While the price has more than doubled since Jan I cant help but wonder that they were hoping for more than that. Recent events, whether accurate or not, seem to be designed to drive the price much higher. A company without LB's history would probably be worth $1 - $2 by now, even the first run by PTI in the late '90's is proof of that. It will be interesting to see if in the next month and a half if they can come up with something substancial to drive this big time. The timing is there, events have been positive lately, and Im betting they will want much higher prices before those shares become available in Jan.
Happy Thanksgiving to all down south.
'the only thing changed is that the battery is not as good as the one from 3-4 years ago'
You have proof of this? Please tell us. Other battery companies have also ventured into the glass mat structure - articles have been posted on this board.
There is little to no evidence of high volume (Re selling) at the peaks or after a price spike. Because they are 'sharp spikes' there is no time at the peaks for selling to occurr, they need a flat price to sell 'loads' of shares. There is also little evidence of this occurring after a price spike so if there is dumping going on it is occurring at level prices which is not indicitive of a P&D.
Furthermore there is little evidence of any new shares being issued short of the approximatly 8mm mentioned in the last 8-k. It is you who always calls for solid PR confirmation of events so where is the confirmation of dilution?
All management's shares are locked up until sometime in Jan 2006. It is not unusual for management in a startup to forgo regular compensation until such time as the company becomes a success, because they know the end reward will far outweigh anything they could get by bleeding it dry along the way (this concept was totally lost on LB). Neither you or I know what other forms of compensation any or all parties are receiving from other ventures (I know I have more than one line of income). Perhaps this is why they agreed to the share lockup?
I also have no problem with any company issuing shares to pay their management. Its a cost of doing business and if there is no management, there is no company.
Hasher you have made some great points over the years but there are many more aspects to running a company that you do not seem to be interested in realizing.
The lack of dilution in the last 1.5 years and sharp spikes in the chart are hardly indicative of a P&D.
As long as I can rest in peace:)!
True enough. It could also be said that Microsoft will one day be .001. Given enough time, it could happen (Microsoft also stole DOS to get their company started. Where's truthteller on that one. Talk about lack of ethical investing, but I dont suppose all the folks who made money in that are going to give it back?). Pepsi has been bankrupt twice in its lifetime. Its all semantics on what you base your timeline on. PTI from inception to today, yep they've totally sucked (but even that is mainly based on one person's wrongdoings). From July 2004 to now, considerably better looking. Stock is up 400%. Management appears to be moving forward. Where do you draw the begining and end of the timeline? If a PR comes out say mid December saying first roud of testing by the hybrid manufacturer is complete and an agreement to produce the battery in Taiwan is in the works, there will be a lot of retracting to do on this board. (The naysayers have been saying for years that this thing is going to fall off the board, and it hasnt.) But where do you draw that line? Dec? Jan? May? The bashers bringing up the past every week (kerby was at it again today) is unecessary except to continue to validate their own motives. The good news will come, if it comes, when it comes. If BJW changes his direction 10 times before he gets the right deal, fine. If the future brings success to PTI who's going to explain to all those who missed out on the profits? If the future brings bankruptcy, oh well, sucks to be me.
Anyway I could go on and on, just like the bashers do, but I wont. Lets hope their batting average is still 1.000 and for a better purpose in the next year.
Here we go again. Hasher, how come your comments get an inevitable, unending time frame to occurr and PTI gets chastised because they didnt throw a party at Times Square on the date predicted? I'll agree to the fact that I would rather have had some kind of announcement but until something is said to the contrary you are continuing to argue semantics on whether a delivery was made or not.
TNOG - drilled for oil, reached their target depth, stated an announcement would be made shortly, it was not. A week and a half later they did announce that the well was not feasable. Now that is something to harp on the negative about.
Microsoft announced that the new version of SQL Server would be released in January of 2005. Still waiting. Better get over there Hasher youve got work to do.
Many companies make announcements of pending items and never formally announce the completion or lack there of. Thats they way it is. Deal with it.
Well I hope they are right then. If there is so much positive looking forward then I an disappointed at the move last week.
OT: Another glowing financial report, yet, the market chooses to focus on the one negative item. Stock down over 17% because the company 'thinks' that sales 'might' not be as good next year. Interesting $51 target on the last line?
http://www.globeinvestor.com/servlet/ArticleNews/story/RTGAM/20051118/wautodesk1118
Nice. Hopefully the first of many orders. Might just make something out of this yet.
Still here, watching and waiting.
So you think management that has taken a stock from 8 cents to .005 since April is doing their job?
OT - News from today for this particular stock. The news item focuses on everything negative in the earnings report from yesterday and does not even mention the positives!
http://www.globeinvestor.com/servlet/WireFeedRedirect?cf=GlobeInvestor/config&vg=BigAdVariableGe...
JEFF, VERT, NITE, SCHB all raised or reaffirmed their B&A's between 2 and 3 pm today. Squeeze play?
Nice support at .08 and higher. Glad to see the .05's fading into the sunset.
Many new asks have shown up at .15 and .20 in the last 2 days.
Gotta agree with Bill, MM's dont seem interested in controlling things at this moment.
Dont you love speculation.
Fair enough points but keep in mind that supression, regardless of any PR support is also a tool of any basher. Mankind will always believe the negative first (without confirmation), its the safe way. Have you noticed that with any company no one questions things when the price goes down? The bad news is all taken as gospel. But show any sort of upward movement and the naysayers flock on over. EPYH was a great example of this. Very few posters on RB/Ihub when it sat at .005 and was doing nothing. But within seconds of it starting to move up on news, about 50 new posters showed up, most of them negative.
My only goal is to see what PTI would do if there werent anyone taking shots at it. We might be better off, might not. But I guess we'll never know, and thats too bad.
Klh19 makes some good points also. Why spend the effort to bash something? If you dont like it, move on. I know I dont have that kind of time to waste in my life.
I would still like to hear a credible reason the car company hasn't rec'd. a battery.
Does anyone have clear confirmation that this didnt happen? Get my point? Easy to defend the negative isnt it. We assume that because there was no grand announcement that there was no delivery. And if there was an announcement, it would immediatly be questioned anyway.
OOOH MY GOD, WE HIT .105, HERE WE GO, YAY, PUMP PUMP PUMP.
But Im feeling much better now:)
The author of this post accecpts no responsibility for information being missconstrued regarding the above words and the absence of any specific date and/or time that could be considered that the said pumping actually occurred.
As for my post referring to 3 year old PR's...
I did not say that that post did. There have been many reposting's of deals, PR's, personell and such that are more than 3 years old. (Yeah I know 'go find them'. Im not going to waste my time. Check RB, kerby is good for that quite often).
Your technology advancement concerns are valid but not the be all end all. There are many old technologies that work better than the new. (Wait till you have to 'throw out' your new LCD or Plasma TV in 3 years. Not thats a technological improvement, disposable products that arent recycleable). But I digress.
As for your opinions of the Chinese marketplace, again old school. China has changed dramatically in the last 5 years and is making huge leaps forward every day. A good CEO would have to be a complete idiot not to see that, understand that, and at least make an attempt at it, be it revisiting contacts that formerly went wrong or trying to create new opportunities.
I appreciate the info you post which is related and relevant, but as far as the company itself being a particular type of entity and their opprotunities, move forward already.
I will point out right here from your latest post then.
'bashers say incorrect things to drive the stock down'
NO. Bashers say negative things to drive a stock down. Bashers who spew incorrect things are a whole 'nother breed and should be held accountable in a whole 'nother way. In both cases they are usually doing it for someone else's purpose.
The constant regurgitaion of negative information that is 3+ years old has no place in the potential for this company to move forward.
But no hasher, I dont believe for a second that you are a real basher. Just someone with a possibly valid grudge. But then how would you like it if this board suddenly deceided to call you on that. You cannot prove in any way that PTI owes you anything. So why should we believe you before BJW?
As for your last post:
And this would only apply to naysayers? The pumpers posts wouldn't fall under this criterium. They absolutly will. Many have been called out and rooster even recanted some input just the other day
How's that November 1st delivery coming along... The battery was tested by someone according to the last PR BTW the small contract for a small sub company never happened either. If you bother to read the PR they never said anything about a contract on that one either. The only lie told there was that they would deliver one for testing in the 1st quarter. And yet the sub company's comments were brought up in the Money TV interview
But , fortunately, the company managed to sell lots of stock. There is no evidence of that in the recent volumes.
So in the end though what is it that keeps certain bashers here? At least you 'trade' the stock on occasion. But certainly there are better, less stressful investment opportunities elsewhere for you? On RB we have kerberos who, cant get out of the past, doesnt seem to have a beef like hasher does, admits that he doesnt own any stock, posts absolutly incorrect onformation (300mm OS)and yet still bangs away 'to save others'. Ahh, maybe that's it! Guess what, we dont need saving.
This Monday morning sermon brought to you by:
Otterman
(I am here of my own accord. I own lots of shares which nobody but myself is responsible for. I am here till the end, be it boom or bust (and all the free entertainment along the way). Please dont try to save me.)
Hasher's back. Straight to arguing semantics. Pick that one little thing out and run with it. As usual you completely missed the point.
PS, does that fact that you responded so quickly to that post prove youre a basher?
Since when has a development company signed the best deal of their life with the first and largest potential partner they talk to?
I will be happy when PTI announces their first deal, whether it is with a small sub company or a major auto manufacturer, others will follow.
And thus more of the naysayers propaganda ammunition is put to rest. Again I say, I have to question the marketing and business sense of these bashers. I guess that's why they are writing on posting boards instead of being too busy running their own successful companies?
Good time to fish, whether youre buying or selling. Not many MM's playing today.
Whoa, never seen MM's pull their B&A's off after close like they do on this one? Only one left.
Its also a no trader, very thin. I believe a new issue too. Looks interesting but you will have to hold it, no quick flips on that one.
Hey lowman,
My radar went off on this one yesterday too. Financials looked good. Cant see it going much lower. Yahoo has $11 target.
PS, Like the $2000 asks on LII:)
Indicators starting to turn positive.
http://quotes.barchart.com/texpert.asp?sym=pwtc
Another ask at .15, bids dropped off.
Teasing it upwards. Asks are now above .10. Speculative run coming I think.
A couple more new asks in at .15 and .20. The numbers seem to be filling up in that range.

New ask in after the close 14:26 JSLC .26. Stock has built a solid bid base now at .08 or higher, asks are rising slowly but no higher trades yet. Due to the history of LB's crap it will take something more solid yet to produce a real move but it looks like we're pointing in the right direction anyway.
