Pretty cool BB; Dr. Bhatt presenting, I didn't know he had his own radio show. You can hear the excitement in his voice.....
BB, I am chillin' drinkin' some Joe, going out to feed the chickens and ducks. One thing this board has taught me is patience...... :D)
Hear anything from ITC yet? You planning on going to any Parties? You know, you've been part of this board just like JL has. Just you march to a different drummer, like a Gene Krupa.....
Understand, wait for the announcement...... I picture this Saturday AM...A full auditorium, JL with his Red Vest, North with his Umbrella hat, Me with my Hard hat and Double budweisers mounted on the sides with a tygon tube. Dr. Bhatt has 10 minutes, but oh boy those ten minutes will "rock the house."
It'll be like someone yelling fire in a packed theatre..... 10,000 attendees trying to exit to call their brokers, of course markets are closed, but hey...it'll have that kind of effect.
This is total BS, big boys are bringing down AMRN, ridiculous. Such a sham these big brokerages get away with. They're sharks really, probably sell their own mothers. Only wish I had some dry powder. Still higher than it was last week or the weeks before.
Must be wanting to accumulate before end of week. Now if the Baker Bros were selling then I would be worried....
GLTA hold your shares

Up in smoke; I'm moving to Michigan;

Might even start my own plantation.
Look, JL's had his reasons, so let it be, he'll be back, besides we're like family......
Hell, Gronkowski's eyes are closed, didn't even see the ball. Can't tell, is it coming down or bouncing back up?
smarterer; Understand your angst in holding through the weekend. Just ask yourself this question;
Of all the times, I/ we've held through Material events even though some have been disappointing, we've still held because we believe in the science .
Gotta believe Dr. Bhatt is ready..... there will be those skeptics, just that Bhatt was there through it all. Along with his colleagues.
Big weekend for us all....

qq; some of us don't like giving out our email address, you never know who's hands it ends up in. Hence my mail box gets inundated with junk.
TIA,

JL; 3rd year of production? Are they really handmade or is that just like a technician sanded a door panel by hand and call it good? of course come to think about most cars were hand made except for punching out the sheetmetal pieces, injection molding etc.
Good for you, that is some ride for sure. You deserve it. As we all who hung in there with you.
You should be able to Post to IHUB board from your phone on Saturday correct?
Thanks,
Nuke
Hey Jf; Wow, what an awesome Ride? But, can it haul hay? How about pulling a horse trailer? Is this the first year of production?
Hmmm, think I'll pass, you know what they say about first builds? It takes the public to iron out the bugs.
:D) Nice,
Nuke
STS; yes, I thought about the compounding effect after I wrote it. Yes, oversimplified, compounding 1% week to week would be a much higher value of course. I was just illustrating that Amarin revenues could very easily reach 1.5B in 1 year
AVII; understand your take on the label language. My only concern is will insurance companies honor "off script" use of Vascepa for those not taking a Statin? Since Amarin obviously "Joined em vs. fight em." My concern is the general public being able to get Vascepa regardless of their condition.
Staccani; Facts we know are; my back of the napkin math
Vascepa current numbers:
Users Annual per latest CC; 458,000
Profit Margin% Revs 75% approx.
Script cost (my own) 629.00 x 4 = $2516 x .75 = $1887 net
Actually the MSRP price on my packaging had $956 (doesn't Matter) price is what is it....;
458K x 1887 = $865M approx.
So, you're projections aren't that far off.
Amarin should easily have revs in excess of $1.5B, based on script growth.
Understand it's non-linear so,
1% per week = 52% x 458,000 = 696,160 (Dec 2019) x 1887 = $1.31B
2% per week = 104% x 458,000 = 934,320 (Dec 2019)x 1887 = $1.76B
Thero understates and over delivers.
Keep this crap off this board, unless it deals with Amarin forget about it.
"Just a thought".... can't hurt; I was thinking about writing to Steve Benson a Pulitzer Prize Cartoonist who worked for the Arizona Republic.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_Benson_(cartoonist)
I would even pay him, if asked.....
I'd like for him to do a cartoon on Big Pharma and the FDA (with Woodcock as "Supreme Court Judge" and Hiatt.... as "Death complete with Scythe). Big 3 Pharma portrayed would be Glaxo-Smith-Kline, Astra-Zeneca and Pfizer. They would either be overweight Eagles or Suits.
Picture this; Poor little Amarin portrayed by a Woodstock look alike from "Charlie Brown" who is surrounded by the three Hooligans GSK, AZN and Pfizer. Woodcock is sitting in Judgement with her henchman Hiatt lurking....
A picture is worth 1000 words. I wonder if Benson would be interested? Especially since Big Pharma is akin to Tammany Hall.
Bought a used 2014 Ford Focus for my daughter oh about 3 years ago now. Been to the shop (Dealer) under warranty 4 times. Same issue each time; Transmission, each time we'd get the car back it was a matter of months before the transmission would fail again. Different excuse each time.
I know, this sounds like a dealer problem rather than a Ford problem. Come to find out Ford had a solution to the transmission loss of shifting or no shifting period, just that the dealer tried to bandaid the problem. I didn't pin down the service manager/ dealer, as I wanted my car back, so, it's my fault entirely. But the dealer never changed out the Transmission Module when they changed out the clutch pads three times.
This really turned me off about Ford products, I used to own several Fords, back in the 80s, no more. Plus the dealerships and their shops are ridiculous, much rather go to aftermarket shops if I need major work done. My Toyota Tundra...... no issues.
"I am he as you are he as you are me and we are all together"
"Goo goo gjoob"
Catchy Slogan for the Amarinites theme song. Of course we'd have to get permission to use it from McCartney & Ringo
AMRN is maintaining PPS, very good sign. Bottom was in around 19.50 yesterday.
Think I'll have a beer for lunch then go pull some fuel rods out of the core, should make the afternoon fun..... belch, burp, now where did I put my lunch full of tools? Anybody see my pickled eggs?
Figures, typical Detroit mentality, go to the local bars at lunch, suck down some brewskies, go back to work, WTF? were did that bolt I just dropped go? Into the tranny? Oh well, grab another one.
So what? Where's the list of side effects?
Well, I got my script for Vascepa tonight. $629.25, on the package there's a Retail Price of $955.99. hmmm, I'm assuming that is like an MSRP statement.
Oh well, bottoms up, no wait, that's capsules away.....
Forgot to ask the pharmacist where the capsules were shipped from. Maybe next time I'm near, I'll go ask. Took them two days to fill my order.
Great looking family BC;
Thursday AM earnings release...... thanks Kevgee
AMRN earnings, I'll say (-.010), Amarin had to pay for all those posters, AHA booths, free buffets.....
Revs..... 62.3M
Based upon my Circadian rhythm and I don't mean BB King
No, it was all the fine needles on the skin of the Prickly Pear Fruit. When handling the fruit you need to use tongs and a torch to burn off the fine needless.
Wine was good, kind of earthy tasting, definitely not your typical Merlot.
Do you wear Prescription contacts or glasses? I got my script through my Optometrist. I told him I had dry eyes and that Liquid tears didn't work. He was well aware of Dry Eye Syndrome (DES).
Yes, I pay full price for V
Nuke
Hi STS;
I understand take an alternative to Vascepa?
Got to understand where I'm coming from. I went over this in my mind..... no, I'm not Russell Crowe so, it goes like this.
I'm an Amarin shareholder..... period, most here have stared into the abyss and made it back. I want only the best for this company now. I respect the management, JT especially. If it means I suck it up and buy Vascepa at full price then so be it.... Bottom-line if it helps the company then I'm all-in. Besides Vascepa is the "Real Deal"..... hey pretty catchy slogan... "Vascepa the Real Deal"
A story...... I work for a Utility, albeit some folks take advantage of Public Utilites.
You've heard the stories, people illegally tapping into power lines, going outside the meter, neighbors running garden hoses to each others houses because they can't or won't pay their bills. How about those Oklahoma credit cards? It's called "lost revenue"..... serious problem. there was a time in my company, where they were asking employees to donate $$ to the company's "Loss prevention fund."
Just don't want it to be me..... I need to help Amarin where and when I can.
LOL, yes, we have Jumping Cactus, pretty wicked stuff......
Tried to make some Prickly Pear wine once...... youch!!!!!
Had to handle the little buggers with tongs and burn off all those ultra fine spines..... It's like death by a million needles.
So, why the Amarin sell-off? the Lawsuit perhaps? Like the comebacks..... keep em comin"
Picking up my renewed script of Vascepa tonight...... Yippee.
So, excuse my reference to all for making fun of you buying expensive cars ($100k).
I made the mistake of looking at new pickups.... youch...... 2019 Toyota Tundra, fully loaded with a 5.7 L costs close to $60k
Why Toyota you ask? Why not a Ford, Chevy or Dodge? I own a Tundra 4.7L, best truck I've ever owned bar none..... And I've owned All brands. I also talked to a mechanic over the weekend and asked him what trucks he sees most coming into his shop.
Answer: Fords, Chevy's and Dodges, he said he hardly ever sees Jap trucks built in America.
Plus, what's this world coming to; Ford Trucks are coming with a twin Turbo V6, WTF? Don't give a hoot about Turbos, I never met a turbo I like, Phoenix heat destroys any turbo, just give it time.
I love Amarin's strength today, go baby go.... now where did I put my chew....
Nuckle Head Nuke
I've heard stories from other people that this is true. They can't sleep, doesn't happen to me very often.....
Don't know what the ol brain thinks about sometimes. They say the medulla Oblongata never sleeps.....
Honest I didn't know the ask premarket was already at $24.19? Great portend for today trading.

Couldn't sleep.... something tells me we'll hit $24 today.
GLTA,

Great post Tellison.
Nuff said,

You gotta yell from the mountaintops JL for people to get it. This is those things that require constant repeating
Actually JL, I'm preaching to those wishing for a BO, those who are new to Amarin and the naysayers who come here and Post their FUD
Hey JL or anybody, check my math. When my youngest daughter was about 4, I'd bought her 300 shares of Netflix for about 9.35 per share. I sold them for 9.65 because I thought there was something greener. Had I kept those shares, she would have had 4200 shares today worth approximately $1.4 million. Guess what JL? That puts the original 300 shares with a value of approximately $5k per share. So, when we "the board" talks about and jokes about predictions then think of my story. $500 very doable almost a given, given the parameters. $5k or $5000 per share? Definitely not out of the realm of reality. In fact, if Amarin GIA it's totally possible.
Zonies are well represented here. Cool.
Sunnyslope, high dollar homes on the mountains, people with shopping carts down below.
Hmmm, drive by Goodyear every day to and from work.
Hey, what about Howdy Doody, Captain Kangaroo, Mr Green jeans, and who was the lady with the sock puppets?
You definitely should enjoy your new ride JL, one of life's little pleasures is to drive an awesome ride with the top down, except of course when it's raining.
Just isn't for me I guess, I'm thinking about a winery.
Make a movie about it, title it "Slumdog Billionaire"
Catchy slogan, I'd put Vascepa first though, something like this; "Vascepa life's elixir"
Agreed, kjones, call your physician and have them do what Louie says. You don't want Lovaza for sure.
Whoa, six children to raise, big responsibility. Seems you've done okay through it all. There were five boys in my family.
Movie's..... Real luxury for us in Phoenix growing up in the 50's early 60's. We had two indoor theatres. Orpheum and Palms. They were downtown. Remember going only one time.
My dad built a pool for us,so we survived the hot summers.
Kjones; Good for you. I have another Homebrew saying that fits Vascepa very well. "Vascepa, it's good for whatever Ale's ya". Good health to you.
