Is there a specific time frame for the quiet period after a REVERSE SPLIT.
I could only find info on quiet periods for IPO's
Can someone please explain or post a link to this whole waiting period thing
Big financials coming to town
Walmart deal.?
Walmart never bought the MP products, they only let them use shelf space and if it didn't sell, it just got shipped back to MP
Does Walmart always do business this way.?
Americanbulls.com technical analysis says HOLD
"Of course retail outlets still have to move that product but hopefully early 2013 will round up some key athlete endorsers."
TAKI,
Please help me fully understand this?
Creative Edge has secured initial purchase orders for its Cenergy and SDN brand products in excess of $780,000 USD, with additional purchase order pipeline of $2.4 million dollars, from its approved distributors.
Now does this mean they have orders totaling 3.18 million already?
Or am I interpreting this incorrectly? Thank you.
Hopefully it works out for us. That last PR is better than most people think
I was on the phone with the man for quite some time, he seemed very open and answered a lot of my questions. He also did mention Vitamin shoppe as well.
then again sometimes deals don't go through so who knows what happens.
overall the main big point I got from the conversation was this: GNC mentioned to them to change some of the product flavors.
what does that mean? you tell me
They wouldn't put out of PR until actual products are first shipped to GNC.
but that doesn't mean a for sure contract with GNC or anything of the sort.... nor does it mean that it won't happen for a year or more
I'm simply just stating what I was told I have no intent to deceive others in order to purchase
however from the man's voice patterns it seem like it would be relatively in the short term
I called them directly and posted the conversation in the past.
I was told that they already have a vendor number with gnc and that dealing with gnc is like dealing with Walmart. He mentioned they were changing the cenergy products a bit based on what gnc had told then
I agree completely with that. Balance sheet tells the most. Way undervalued here.
U mean he sold all those shares he had.??? He had quite the bucket load.
What are hunterdogs thoughts
wow, great find Deep Space. you're making some el dinero up in here,.
Where?
So do u have a short term exit strategy. Or did u sell already?
Haha..... Big revenues coming. And bigger losses. Maybe they'll promote there products on movies. Product placement
I don't doubt big revenue increases
That was in discussion of a fitmiss product line.
And i agree, having products designed for women only is very sexist
So if they do uplist and get above $5.
We shall see
The way they did it= good for company, bad for you
Tell me this.
If you woke up tomorrow and MP diluted and had 10 Million outstanding shares and the balance sheet looked amazing:
Paid off all there debt,
had over 15 million cash on hand.
Got rid of toxic financing
Got rid of all debt.
How glad would you be on a scale of 1 to 10.
how does a company get rid of debt and toxic financing while losing money each year.
Please do explain.
this will tell me exactly your knowledge.
and to further correct your post:
They didn't shut down because sales were falling.
They shut down because of the costs of production. When sales don't cover the current costs, firms shut down.
Specifically if they don't cover the variable costs. In the short run, firms can still operate as long as variable costs are covered.
Here's an example. If a company produces 100 million in sales with 70 million in costs. It will continue.
If the next year, sales fall by 50% and now are only at 50 million and costs are at 40 million, It will continue. But if somehow the costs of making your product and labor and capital costs increase to 70 million and you are only making 50 million, firms will shut down.
Now, MP has this situation above, but they don't shut down because they can simply dilute the shareholders and get more cash to keep existing.
When the share price gets so low that they can no longer dilute, the company can then do a reverse split. Over time the pps will slowly creep back down and the company will have to do another reverse split. So essentially as long as there are enough investors, the company will continue to exist.
First off, the union problems were only because they wanted more money/benefits which equals higher costs to the company.
MP sales aren't covering costs
MP is in debt
That's why it wasn't worth the cost of production.
Twinkies shut down because their sales were falling and they were in debt, Plus problems with unions. That's why it wasn't worth the cost of production.
totally different situation from MSLP. Not comparable.
Completely Wrong:
It takes a tremendous amount of money for advertising. You give a company 10 million to advertise, people will buy your product regardless.
In order for them to make 300k a year, their products have to sell. in order for their products to sell, they have to make sure it's popular and selling well, that takes a tremendous amount of work.
I tried only ASSAULT. I currently am not invested.
Below is a conversation that should of happened between us.
Do you remember a company called Hostess.. they made twinkies I believe.
Was there no sales of twinkies or the Hostess products? hmmmmmm, no, that couldn't be it.
So what was it....
Well, I guess the costs to produce the products were just too high so they had to shut down.
So even a company with the best products can fail.
Yep, I would have to say that is accurate.
Wow, I guess I should really take a look at the balance sheet.
Yep, that might be a good idea. If the current assets is less than the current liabilities, the company is in trouble.
So why don't they cut some products and focus on the profitable ones.
Well, because of investors, they don't need to.
I love having conversations that are rational
"If you are going to say forget about making products at all because they can't turn a profit, then might as well say, MSLP is wasting their time just existing at all"
Would you shut down a public company if you made 300k a year?
Ok, thanks for the quick response.
I know Scottrade, which I use has a minimum pps to short of $5. I still need to get a margin account set up though. Let me know when and if you get a short position. then maybe we can say wweeeeeeeee
weeeeeeeee
weeeeeeeee on the MP message board when the stock is down 50%. lol
recon
armov-v
Combat Powder
Assault
battle fuel
I don't play much video games but i believe these products were created while playing halo or call of duty
How does a meal replacement product justify creating an entire line for women. Why don't they just create one meal replacement women's drink, I agree, that would be smart.
But they always try to do too much. One product's success will not justify a whole new product line.
Look at ASSAULT.... probably very successful on it's own, but they kept wanting to do more and more and more... had to have
Bulletproof
Amino 1
muscle gel
recon
armor-v
Costs of crappy products will outweigh benefits of a decent product
Out of curiosity, why do you keep watching this stock?
I got out at over twice the current pps but consider myself an idiot for not doing so sooner. My rationale started to become, these guys can't really be that dumb. Boy was I wrong.
I still keep an eye because I feel like this stock has taken 10 years of changes/failure/ buybacks/ reverse splits and condensed it into a 6 month learning program.
I only see further dilution. So I'm just curious as to why you still watch it. You'd be a smart man if you got a short position if this does shoot up real quick.
I'm a college student and don't know any women who take any supplements besides Maybe a lean protein shake for a meal replacement.
In all honesty, if womens supplements were going to be so huge of a line for profits, I can say that the monkeys running MP would not have been the first to figure it out.
Think about it, why doesn't BSN, EAS or other massive companies target a women's line... because there is a lot more money to be made from Males between the ages of 25 to 45 vs women. They've done the research and realized it's not worth it.
MP breast enlargements would be a better bet.
Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee?
Hahaha.... Reppin the MP.
Well there was a message with 2 sites posted but looks like it got deleted. It looked like the sites weren't that well known. I have no clue if any of it is legit.
Thank u.
