I was nervous! Plenty nervous! In fact, I came really really close to selling all my shares because I have been in stocks before that went slient and I rode them all the way down to zero. I didn't want to do that again, and almost pulled the trigger.
I AM SO GLAD I DIDN'T!
Now the biggest question I have is how much can I buy tomorrow????
And.... we are ALL so glad that the 10K came out, but how about some comments about if it contained good news or not from some of you experts. And I really mean that, because I don't know what to look for. From my view, it looks pretty good, or better than i expected. How about from your viewpoint?
TIA
Charlie
At least two!!!!
From the Dec 12th PR
The company is looking forward to moving to the specific target areas for enhanced recovery operations as soon as river conditions allow. We anticipate that the second dredge will be on site and operational by mid December.
**********************************
So RIGHT NOW we have at least two dredges in the water on the Pampana River! I can't wait to see the assay reports. Maybe they'll post ALL the assay reports in the geology section on the website.... that would be a good place for them, and a PR letting the world know about it.
We've got good things coming!

Isn't Tuesday the last day someone can sell stock at a loss and claim it on this years income tax because it has to close before the eoy?
in that case, tomorrow MAY be the last time to snag a few shares at bottom prices. I don't have very much to play with, but it would be nice to add a few at these prices just to have the braggin' rights later on RGI!! I will be able to say... "i STILL have those shares I bought at triple zero six, or seven, or eight, and look where it is NOW!
Of course, if we get news tomorrow with maybe an assay report with a few details, it would end these low prices for this year.... it's comin', it's just a matter of when.
Charlie
Hey Colorado Kid,
Since you asked:

I would like to float the following idea:
Sunergy may be holding the filings at this point due to the holiday week. Is this likely?
Thanks in advance for your feedback.

I'd Like to think of the glass being half full and I'd like to think that companies don't out right lie.
I'm thinking that just maybe.... they DO already have the fins completed and ready and are just delaying final approval as a matter of timing.
and let's say that Parent went to Chicago (didn't someone say that he went to Chicago recently?) to do the prep to get us uplisted.
And I don't feel that they would purposely delay all this to cheat out the warrent holders. Aren't these friends of the company "with big pockets". Why would they want to screw them?
once everything is all ready to go, then BAM, all at once we get the Fins, uplisting, AND news about production, ALL IN ONE DAY or even one PR.
I can't say that I wanted to invest in a company that would delay things like this and keep us in the dark for so long, but this IS a pink sheet and a CE as well. So I guess I'll just suck it up and hope for a MASSIVE PR.
Maybe tomorrow? you never know.....
Charlie
My thoughts.... if anyone cares (I am after all just an average Joe)
Uksausage asked...
"So why are people holding back?"
I think it's because the recent PR'snd the interview didn't contain any new information that wasn't already widely known. I'm glad we have them and hope they will bring new investors, but to get excitement needs to have new info.
If John would have told us what was in the assay of the black sands, then maybe we'd have more volume. All he really said was that it was good.
I'm still gonna be here for the long haul and will continue to add more as I get more powder.
Charlie
I hate the wait!
Seems like my grass in the backyard grows faster than this.
Risk On, could you PM me if you have any advice to calm me down? I've stayed with companies that continued to promise all the way down to no bid. I don't want to do that again....
TIA
Charlie
For me, some of the best parts of the interview were to hear John say that the goal is to produce 1,000 oz of gold this season. I think he said it more than once.
Also he confirmed that we are shipping the black sands, or ore, out of country to further refine it and get more gold out of it. I can't wait to hear HOW MUCH gold they get from this!
Charlie
Good to know!
it would be great if he would publish the assay report. He's done it in the past so why not now?
Thanks and Good Job giving us notes!
I'm getting my coffee and I'm ready to listen to John. It's gonna be quite a show ths morning!!
GO SGCP!!
Charlie
B4, Excellent!
it took me a minute to figure out how to work their page to hear the interview, but I got it now!
I can't wait to hear what John has to say!!
I'm SO HAPPY to have 3 million shares now, and I wish i had 3 million more!!
GO SGCP!
Charlie
Just curious, why did you change your mind and buy them back?
What was that?? 3 buys just now each one moving us positive....??? Checking for news, but couldn't find any yet.
Good Job!! and I hope that you are correct!
Does anyone feel that we will be seeing a PR tomorrow with some fins?
it would be a nice Christmas present, wouldn't it?

It seems as if some people only post to try to bring the PPS down... well, how low does this have to go before they get in and shut up? 8/10ths of 1/10 of a penny isn't low enough for them?
If their goal isn't to get in at all, then why post? I see crazy people once in a while at work, and now I guess I'm reading from them as well.
reminds me of something I learned the hard way.....
"the world is not a fair and just place and it is unreasonable for me to expect it to be so."
GO SGCP!
I just know something rally good is about to happen! I don't have any specific info, I just FEEL that way.
Charlie
TOSCA, Thank You! Once again you show the world that you ARE da Man!!
I'm at work so I have very limited computer time, so I'll have to read this later at home. But I wanted to Thank you for all the hard DD you do and share with us.
I know the current price for CC's is just a fraction of what they thought it would be, but if they could just get the first forward sale moving then just think what would happen to the PPS!
I'm dreamin' of Rich Guy Island once again and maybe even thinking about a new song.....
GO SGCP!
Charlie
Thanks guys!
I'm betting that there are several others that thought like I did and were looking for $279,000 worth of stock to be sold.
This isn't bad at all and certainly expected that they would need a little gas and snack money. This level is peanuts!
GO SGCP!
Charlie
So can someone please tell me how this works?
According to this web site:
http://www.formds.com/issuers/sierra-gold-corp
SGCP SOLD $279,900 worth of stock on Dec. 14. But that is 279.9 MILLION shares @ .001 and even more at the PPS it's at now. And there are hundreds of millions of shares still out there from sales from the last several weeks.
Are these HELD by the MM's and released, or sold, at their whim? Do they have to sell a fraction of them immediately to cover their costs?
I'm asking because it looked like yesterday was a dilution dump to me, but it still wasn't the kind of volume to cover this dilution that is being posted so I'm a little confused.
Not trying to bash, just trying to learn more.
Congrats to those that get these cheap shares! I wish I hadn't shot all my powder already so I could join you! What a bargin!!
GO SGCP!
Charlie
I don't know exactly, but I've heard that we are very very close! lol
Pro-truck, I can see them being much more sucessful THIS year.
We lost a month of prodution last year just on the fuel shortage alone. and IF they only have half the problems as last yesr, then I'd say that Cork is absolutely correct at a possibility of 1,000 oz of AU.
Now comes the good stuff! They are back in Pampana. EYE can remember someone complaining that we need to go there, and EYE recall that they were slapped around for whinning about it. now we are back and I'm very positive that we will get some big numbers this year!
I'd say 1,000 oz just because we continue to improve ourselves and add another 500 just because it's Pampana for a total of 1,500 oz of GOLD THIS SEASON!
Charlie
Tekoah, your comment:
"In other word we are just gold mining novices!"
Is that just some basic, simple thinking, poorly thought out way to try to discredit this company?
Sir, you need to think this through about where we are and what we are doing. look at the history of SL, heck you can even get caught up on the company web site at
http://sierragoldcorp.com/sierra_leone.php
Sunny7777! That is what I was wondering about in yesterdays PR and FR.. Where are the assay results? You say they are pending. Did John say something to you?
IMO the PPS didn't move, or moved down a little, because people were expecting to see the assay report and it wasn't there.
GO SGCP!
Charlie
Isn't that a double from last years off season numbers for gold??
Wasn't last year 32 ozs and this year it's 59. So we are almost at double production during rainy season operations!
And right NOW we are producing MORE!

Field Report December 2011
Sierra Gold Corporation announced in a Press Release dated Monday December 12, 2011 that the October and November gold extraction numbers amounted to 59 troy oz. This brings 2011 gold extraction through November to 378 troy oz. This is an increase of over 65% from last year's production of 229 troy ounces of gold.
In regards to diamonds, the company extracted 315 pieces in 2011 which compares to 209 pieces in 2010 or an increase of over 60%.
The mining season did present us with some new challenges. There was a gas shortage countrywide that hindered production for almost 30 days. To protect against this problem Sierra Gold Corp. will keep a larger reserve of fuel for operations. As in all mining operations, equipment breakdown is a constant battle and we will increase the number of spare parts to offset some of our down time.
The results of the assay reports continue to indicate high levels of gold in our samples and Sierra Gold Corp. acknowledges that a portion of the gold is at the micro level and is not attainable for extraction on site. Sierra Gold will be required to transport the concentrates (black sands) to a processing plant, which may be out of country. The company is currently stockpiling this product with the aim of recovering as much of this micro gold as possible. We continue to explore various options in order to have these AU rich sands processed in a way that will show the return on investment that is profitable for all concerned.
In regards to the Pampana River concessions, there is a shakedown process that takes place when moving a dredge to a new location. This entails the breaking down of the dredge, moving it to a new location and reassembling the dredge. This process can take from 2 to 4 days to complete. Once this is done, the operator will make the necessary adjustments and any repairs required so the dredge is ready to do shore line testing. When river levels permit, the dredge will then be ready to be moved to its selected position for full operations.
Mining in Sierra Leone offers many different challenges. Last years activities gave the company much insight into these issues and with this in mind we are confident we will be able to improve/enhance the company's operational effectiveness for the 2012 mining season.

TOSCA, you ARE Da Man!! I consider you to be the KING of DD here and when someone like you has the faith to go Huge, well, it gives me a little hope that everything is gonna be alright!
Sure, I'd Love to see this go "to da moon" and blow us all away Tomorrow, but I'm also in for the long haul and placing my big bet right here.
We've got:
Gold
a few diamonds
crops
Carbon Credits
Wood (in the future from the CC)
And what's in the Black Sands???
Here is someting I think we might have missed. have another look at the Feb 9, 2011 FR and the "Certificate of Analysis". What was that Ti reading? is that Titanium? And a lot of it?
Then, I heard about this somewhere on Ihub, maybe it was here and from you TOSCA??

South Africa to get a $1.2bn rare metals refinery
Source: SAinfo
The Industrial Development Corporation and the National Empowerment Fund are working with US-Russian consortium Magnesium and Metals to build a US$1.2-billion (about R9.2-billion) rare metals refinery in South Africa.
According to a statement by the IDC, the plant will be used to beneficiate the country's natural ores, which are currently mostly exported in raw form. Once complete, it will be the world's first integrated Titanium-Zirconium-Magnesium-Silicon plant.
The partners have set aside R40-million for a pre-feasibility study, to be conducted by SMW Engineering, a Russian company that carries out research and engineering activities in the field of magnesium, zirconium, titanium and rare earth metals' production and related technologies.

I don't care if it takes a handful of years to complete this refinery, and maybe by then we'll have stockpiled a thousand tons of the stuff for them to refine. what would that be worth?
Something to think about.....
Charlie
Lots of BUYING going on this morning right after the bell! 8 million in volume and buys out number sells 7 to 1.
Isn't Doug due back and maybe a PR soon?
plenty of good reasons why this stock is a great value at this price. heck, it's STILL a great value at double this price!

another change?
Under the Property tab there is a discription of the Pampana that I don't remember seeing before.....
2.Pampana is a 40sq/km mining concession in the Tonkolli district. The property is located on the north Pampana River near the village of Rosint. The northern Pampana River lies in the greenstone belt and is one of Sierra Leone’s richest known alluvial mining rivers.
This makes it more clear about the difference between "North pampana River" and "Northern Pampana River" being 2 seperate areas.

Web Page Changes!
Thank you to whom ever called John and got a few changes made to the web page.
Financial info no longer has 2008 fins posted. He just deleted everything except the link to pinksheets.com It's a good start. Maybe copy and paste what is over at pinksheets??
and now the projects pages has Pampana! It looks the same, but I KNOW Pampana wasn't there before.
2011-2012 projects
Mining Projects:
•2 mining dredge operations on the Pampana
•2 mining dredge operations in Bo
•1 mining and exploration operation in Zimmi
•We also have small artisanal J.V. agreements with local land owners

Less than half a million shares for sale at the Ask... one trade can put us back up to 9.
If I had any powder I would.... I know I'd HATE to be sitting on a pocket full of money and watch this thing move on up and regret not getting more. The last time I bought I could have had some 5's if I didn't take a few minutes to review my accounts and think about it. By the time I got in I had to settle for 7's. I'm VERY happy with my 7's, BTW
GO SGCP!
Charlie
Thanks TOSCA. Reminds me of something John told me the first time I called him.
I asked John how he feels about the future of SGCP. Where will we be in 5 years, 10 years? He told me, "Charlie, we're building a conglomerate corporation".
I stll think we have a good chance of getting there. Not on my timeline though, unfortunately, but then, I'm not the one over there putting in all the blood and sweat and tears.
Hey, that was a good band reference... maybe a little "god bless the child" would be fitting. "god bless the child, that's got his own, that's got his own..."

Cork, that's what I'm counting on!
Quote:
We are at the very beginning of the season right now. Five ticks and we got a double. I hope we kick butt!
**********************
I'm not worried about this low PPS right now. People should be really happy about this low price. What a great OPPORTUNITY this is! getting more at 5, 6, or 7 or higher is almost certainly going to double and triple.
SGCP has proved to me that they have changed their ways about PRs and communication and with this regular release of PRs we will almost certainly bring our PPS to reach doubles and triples from here. So why complain about an opportunity?
And while I've got your eyes (everyone, not just Cork), I hope that someone who calls John will ask him to consider revising the web page. We are going to be getting more new eyes looking at it, and it just looks bad to see 2008 financials as the first thing you see when you click on the financial info tab, and to never have anything under the geology tab and no mention at all of our operations in Pampana under Projects, well, it just looks unprofessional. We want people to be excited about SGCP, and not have to look around and figure it out.
OK, I'm done with my 2 cents worth..... I see someone got some at 6, back to the show....
GO SGCP!

What a GREAT DAY to add more shares!
I ALMOST got some 5's, but changed it to 7's after the PR.

Time to get yer hoses wet., gentlemen.....
Rojotu, i saw that....
"If you continue to read you'll see that Doug wont be back from SL until the middle of December"
I hoping that we are BOTH correct. one PR now (or soon) and another PR when Doug returns.
Good news coming SOON!
How do I know? Well, re-read the Field Reports and tell me I'm right....
from the Sept/Oct FR:
***********
Assaying of samples of black sand taken from both the Pampana and Sewa Rivers are currently being conducted by SGS Labs in Lakefield Ontario. The results will be published as soon as they become available. Small scale processing of those same samples, for test recovery purposes, will be conducted in late October. The company is continuing with the black sand collection program and to date 14 metric tons have been accumulated for future processing.
*************
and then the last FR in November:
************
•We are presently awaiting the results of our assay report and will advise as soon as we receive information from SGS mineral labs.
************
So, IMO of course, I think that we'll hear about the SGS mineral labs report, as well as the small scale processing that was going to happen in late October, ANY TIME NOW! maybe even Monday.
How cool would THAT be!

Thank You Dredge! That was the kind of info I was looking for.
I was trying to figure out how big an expense it would be if we had over 20 (potentially) dredging sites to pay for.
The actual expense of the surface rents and license for the concession isn't as big a deal (money wise) as I thought.
Of course the biggest thing of all is the same as realstate... location, location, location.
