Again, then WHY are you still here? (Not expecting an answer).
If you "sold on the last buyout rumor months ago" then why are you still here? I think you are lying.
As expected, the suit settled. Let the buyout rumors commence
I think it gets resolved by the summer as I recall
Those of us still here remain hopeful that after the lawsuit settles the company will be sold. I'd guess a settlement will bring us back to 10 and a buyout at 15-20. Far less than we were expecting but a lot more than it is now. For now it's dead money but so are most other small bios now.
I have always thought that Voclosporin was a great drug especially when the sp was down because of the deaths mistakenly attributed to it. Now we're in a situation where the sp is down because of management's incredibly inept performance which caused Sun to sue us in retaliation for the unnecessary dry eye suit and the almost complete neglect in hiring a competent sales force. I'm confident the suit will settle and the sp will be back to low double digits at that point as buyout speculation will immediately resume. As far as a buyout I'm guessing around 20 which is a real kick in the balls after where it was but a good lesson for the next one. I'm sure not one in ten retailers sold in the 30's so misery loves company I suppose. New investors will do well here as will those of us still ahead on this one.
The ONLY hope for the investors here is a sale of the company to a BP with a conpetent sales force. Not the keystone cops we have working for this company. The suit is the only thing holding up a buyout from happening as some BP will happily pay 15-20 a share to acquire a drug that could still produce over 1b in revenue IF properly managed. In the interim (probably a year) we can all bitch and moan and if we're smart add to our positions at this ridiculous price. However, most of us are so sick of this company that the last thing we would do is buy more knowing that the assholes that run this company will most likely find yet another way to f-ck things up. Jmho.
It all comes down to whether you think this is a good drug that has been horribly mismanaged or a bad drug that there is no market for. Obviously those of us who haven't sold are in the former camp and are holding out for a sale of the company. I dont think we will have to wait long once the suit settles which alone should double the sp.
So you and Cosa have switched places or more likely are one and the same. Extremely clever lol.
Are you "fearing the 2's". Could be here soon the way it's going. Time to sell or load the truck? I'm betting the suit settles and we get acquired.
Really? Every other day you claimed you were buying. Now you're considering selling? A bit late for that isn't it? I always thought it was better to buy when it was low and sell when it was high. My mistake lol.
I'm with you Jess. Just going to wait patiently for the suit to settle and the buyout at 20.
PG should be fired for incompetence. Sell the company for 15 and lessons learned.
If Sun wins the suit which I dont think is likely, BR's "fear of the 2's" will become reality. If the suit is settled or otherwise favorably resolved, the sp will be back in the low teens quickly. At that point I think management will accept an offer in the 20's and that will be the end of it. Another tainted victory like Ariad. For those of us with almost 6 years in this one our ROI will still be very good. Not as great as we were hoping for but a lot better than most other investments. Or we might lose most of it here due to management's almost laughable incompetence. I'm with Jess, in it for the duration.
Is that a little light at the end of this very long tunnel? There's always hope and days like yesterday help sustain it.
Cheap shares going fast now. Almost up 15 percent from capitulation.
These spineless cry babies need to grow a set or stfu and leave.
Stop crying and sell if you cant take it. The rest of us will wait for the suit to settle and the inevitable buyout to happen. You should buy cd's instead of your pathetic moaning.
Good level to consider adding or starting a position here. A lot of potential/probable catalysts forthcoming and the negative factors are already reflected by the current sp.
Jess, of course he's doing it for profit. He obviously holds a position in KZR and wants others to buy that stock after selling here. He thinks that by trying to discourage the longs by repeating, ad nauseum. his argument about the price of Lupkynis that he will get some to sell and buy into his company's inferior drug. He has no idea of what it would take to convince those of us who have been through much tougher times with Ariad to sell a company with a great drug (albeit with terrible management). Most of us are here for as long as it takes but he has every right to continue the same argument every day no matter how pointless it is.
Now that P(i)G has filled his greedy little hands with options there is nothing keeping him selling to a BP for less than the company is worth except the settlement of the suit. He was hired to get the company sold and has no desire to gia. Expecting the settlement soon and a buyout shortly thereafter. I now see high 20's or low 30's as realistic buyout which is somewhat less than I had hoped for years ago.
The only thing keeping Lupkynis from being more widely prescribed is a failure by this small company to get the drug properly marketed. That wont be a problem once the company is sold to a BP with the necessary resources to realize the potential that this first in class drug has always had.
Just fyi, eminent is not the same as imminent. If you want to convince investors on this board to switch to your inferior company perhaps you should have your well educated better half proof read your messages.
Obviously you are hoping to persuade the longs here to switch to KZR. It isn't going to happen as KZR's drug is years behind Auph and in any event the trials have revealed that it is clearly inferior compared to Lupkynis. We understand your motivation in posting here but it is a waste of your time. Once the suit with Sun is settled Auph's sp will go back to the low teens. Soon thereafter the buyout rumours will propel the price back to low 20's and finally a BP will buy the company in the 30's. There is no doubt that this is the most likely scenario and the smart money and institutional investors are increasing their holdings as we speak. The sellers now are retailers new to biotech investing or too lazy to have done the dd necessary to understand the prospects for success here. You have no chance of converting most of us here but keep trying if it satisfies your need to think you're helping your investment in KZR.
I see that recently he occasionally posts on the Auph site on stocktwits. He was among the most ardent supporters of Auph when he had his blog. I think he became disillusioned with Auph but now his posts are positive again.
"We're back on track". Thought you said we were heading for two. Can't have it both ways gf.
I had a different handle on Ariad which I retired years ago but I can appreciate your skepticism. I prefer to keep that old pseudonym retired at this point for a few reasons. In any event, my only agenda on this board is to encourage the longs that have been here for years (and the new ones) not to get discouraged if the buyout takes a bit longer than we'd like. If it was another false alarm the company will continue to do well on its own and the sp will grow organically. I think a buyout is in the works as that was always the intent when Glickman turned over the leadership for that purpose. I think Pfizer has to be considered a frontrunner as there are so many ties to that company but I hope we will benefit from having a number of interested parties.
Hey Jess. I’m an old timer from the Ariad days and have been lurking here since 2017. Sort of miss the old Ariad board and reading 2da’s ridiculous posts about Denner. As we close in on the conclusion of this latest journey, I am wondering where the Ariad old timers end up next. Will it be bcrx, or srne? Maybe grts or selb? There are so many undervalued small bios now. I’m hoping we get 45 -65 for Auph but anything over 40 is ok. I’m guessing we see a buyout by the end of the year. What ever happened to TradingCyclist? I used to enjoy his blog. I don’t see many posts from the resident nuisance anymore. Guess he is still upset for selling at 18 just before the surge to 30plus. I appreciate reading all the great posts from you and zzaatt and rum and all the rest from the old days. Looks like we will get paid off soon for our perserverance.
