In the last 9 seconds before the close
there were two quick tiny trades in an apparently desperate effort to keep CAPC stock from recording another loss.
It worked!
(This is known as "Marking the close" and is a definite no-no. Not my idea, check the web!)
But Hey - whatever - although I fail to find it laughable.
Buchro, CAPC sells swamped buys today 4 t0 1
I find that more interesting than trying to interpret posts.
Good Grief! Four to One sells!
And that on top of Friday's action?
Thanks Buchro, "Urban" actually says that is a sports term
You might want to re-read their definition and quote it in its entirety.
For a more erudite and on-point reference check Merriam-Webster:
Mike, can you clarify your post please?
You said, "When the mirror starts selling, it’s lights out."
Sounds as though you are predicting a complete failure of the company (lights out) once people start receiving it and recognizing that bulky 20 pound mirror encasing a rather common garden variety tablet is not a viable marketing idea?
Seems a bit harsh, surely you're not predicting bankruptcy, are you?
Uranium, today's large dump below $1.20 was ironic
because of the timing. This was specifically related to your recent post #79556 .
You can find definitions of the word "ironic" easily on the web. I see no purpose in spending more time further explaining it to you
Uranium, ironic that today CAPC traded below $1.20
and through the morning that $1.19 trade accounted for nearly 50% of all shares traded.
A Huge 653,049 volume Friday should be good news
But when you consider the number of people who must have been burned by the over 5% simultaneous price decline ..... Oops?
Spooky!
Friday CAPC stock plummeted over 5%
In mid-October the stock was closing in the $1.60's
But the stock, in only two weeks, closed at $1.27?
Down over 35 cents per share in two weeks?
Absolutely Uranium, while CAPC plummeted 0ver 8.5%
This will require some fast and furious trades at the ask, or above, to make this stock recover later this afternoon.
quick gang, man the pumps!
Congratulations TB on recent short term CAPC predictions.
I note today that, through the morning, sales volume has been running at about ten times the buy volume.
They should also note how long ago that was
and note the intervening litany of Wallach's product failures!
We all hope Capstone will have a future.
Thanks for proving my point Mike
The applications you mentioned almost always involved use in a bathroom; to wit:
Osterby, I'll bet they don't !!!
RVD, I'm afraid you're comparing apples to oranges.
Lululemon products do something useful.
Hence, their success.
Perhaps some missed the point of my message?
It did not question whether the "mirror" could be connected to other services or devices as it certainly can be, like so many current products. While some may do more or less along these lines that has nothing do do with the post.
The question, amplified, asked what is the purpose of the "mirror" .... you know, that big shiny thing being attached to a tablet?
It does appear that, completely lost in discussion of Capstone's product, is any consideration of what intrinsic value a rather large, heavy reflective device adds to a nice tablet.
From an ergonomic standpoint Capstone's gadget also appears to have lacked sufficient study before morphing from a slightly interesting bathroom mirror.
Again the question: Why is a perfectly good, easily transportable tablet pegged to an ungainly mirror?
Sorry I missed exciting afternoon's postings
But my son-in-law was visiting.
He is an IT director of a company that provides large screen displays that you have undoubtedly in airports, hotels and conference centers that can be programed remotely to display a variety of information.
I showed him the pictures and company information on the mirror and his first comment was:
"What is the purpose of having a large mirror attached to a tablet?"
The only response I could quickly muster was "Well maybe it makes it harder to misplace the damn thing"
Thanks Osterby, We'll all be filthy rich!
Ah yes, that convenient, overused, Covid excuse.
Covid delayed production in early 2019?
Do you actually believe that?
Mike, it is interesting
when we compare your post today that:
"....the mirror will be hitting the shelves VERY soon…"
with this post from early 2019:
"Capstone Connected Home’s Google-Enabled Smart Mirror will be available in varying sizes, the first to market being 19×22. It will be available for purchase and shipping to customers beginning Q1 of 2019."
Yes Mike I now? believe the mirror exists
just as I always have!
And thank you for acknowledging that any posts to the contrary were incorrect.
So now I hope we can drop this thread and move forward to timely discussions of CAPC, warts and halos and all.
Osterby I cannot scroll down to find them
Please give me a specific message number for any such post since you indicate you know where they are.
Or did I misinterpret your post and you can't find them either?
Mike, you posted specific allegations
This was your earlier post so I don't understand why you can't provide the source documentation you used. This shouldn't require any digging since you must already have the material you referenced.
Please don't ask me to find it/them for you because I never saw it/them
Once again, please just answer the question.
Mike you flagged some very serious allegations!
A day ago I asked you for some additional information as to the exact posts that contained those statements and you may have responded, but your response was apparently lost or canceled from the board. So forgive me for repeating the request to expound on your original post, as follows:
What number post(s) on this board contained arguments that, to use your words, stated “the mirror didn’t exist..” ???
Where and when did someone claim the mirror is/was a "fake" ???
Can you provide the exact number of a post on this board that said the mirror "would never get fcc approval." ???
Thanks for your help in providing the board the opportunity to examine these posts!
Those are serious charges; please post supporting documentation

Terrible news, Needs immediate positive spin posts.
It behooves CAPC aficionados to downplay the bad news that management has lost the ability to obtain outside financing to continue operations without paying the high interest rates associated with their continuing inability to generate revenue.
Well said Trader, They've buggered themselves again.
Did you notice the enormous loss today?
No, we(?) do not all know that.
I do not consider todays loss humorous!
CAPC lost nearly 1/5 of its value today!
Mike, how many mirrors have they sold so far?
Or, when is that "first year" supposed to begin?
Welcome aboard Osterby
Please help us old-timers, who are starved for information, by sharing your source for any concrete information or news leading to your encouraging viewpoint?
"Change in Direction" is just another prelude to disaster!
If you have the slightest understanding if Ergonomics you will see that even if they are successful in selling a few mirrors the subsequent returns by dissatisfied purchasers will be the final nail in the Capstone coffin.
And have you read their terms of sales? Just try jumping through the flaming hoops to get your misspent money returned.
However beta testing shows that the mirror could find a market as an amusing toy for children so they can "cast" their playtime antics against a mirror on the living room wall.
Mismanaged does not even begin to rate this debacle.
Flp, do you expect manipulation to raise PPS?
I rather expect to see a sharp increase in small-lot buying vs sells along with a spate of new positive posters to attempt a sudden sharp increase in the asking price.
This would be in line with the sudden irrational increase in share price at the beginning of the year which was obviously organized manipulation.
And this in the face of continual failure to bring the mirror to market accompanied by the recent devastating news of the pending introduction of a directly competing superior product from Amazon.
Desperate measures for desperate tines?
So terribly sad, but true!
Would it have been likely to generate revenue by now
If they had gone ahead and gotten approval for the basic mirror without Thincast if it would have meant faster approval?
Now it appears we have consecutive quarters without revenue and are also facing being too late to have an approved product to take advantage of Black Friday pre-holiday buying splurges, etc.
Sorry, but I find this whole debacle the result of embarrassing management.
I agree that the approval should not be complex
yet here we sit after four years of waiting while, as you pointed out,
"it's already an established and common type of communication"
Same question to you Uranium, what approvals?
Can you help Mike out here?
