maybe he is just trying to be stealth.
of course not... but how hard is it? really? I would think a shareholder would want to know if his/her company racked up about 17 million in three months. I know they are busy with all of this work, changing the world, the moon, and canals through texas and whatnot.. but i doubt they are looking at a 17 million dollar check as a trivial matter.
it wasn't in the 8k, the Firms holding shares in street name was posted on the www.cvsu.us website. Nothing wrong with that. but they did issue a PR about it. I'm just saying that if they issue a PR about that, but didn't mention they received millions of dollars in revenue from the bonds that it's a little strange.
maybe they are just keeping quiet about it. If I won the lotto from the online ticket I bought, I would keep quiet about it too.
oof... I forgot... can't do that yet... wait, let me ask Zed K, maybe I can if i'm an international sensation!
a multi million dollar infusion into a company that as of their last balance sheet showed about 1500 dollars in cash is not a material event????? but putting a list of shareholders on their website is????
this gets better and better
all of this doesn't really matter anyway.
sooner or later CSHD has to file their financials. AND even that doesn't really matter, because the CEO of a public company flat out guaranteed to buy every shareholder out at at least 15 dollars a share via a 'price reset'. I think i finally understand what they mean by that. Its not that suddenly one day the stock is going to be bid at 15, it means that the company has announced a stock buyback at 15 dollars a share.
Now thats what I call an environmentally friendly company!
no problem, glad to be of help...
hey, did you make varsity?
i'm not bashing, i was just trying to help.
GO RUFUS!!!!! GO 500MPH BULLET TRAINS!!!!
RUNBYLOVE-------- I WANT TO BUY A T-SHIRT!!!
ok,, is that better masta?
psst... fyi.. (just so you know)...
'loose' is actually a common mispelling of lose
ok, thanks.
oh.. btw.. hopfull might really be spelled hopeful
come to think of it,,, has anyone asked if the company did receive their interest payment?
hmm... come to think of it... if they own the bonds, they should get the payments, right?
or am i missing something here
point b:.... yes they are audited...
but as i read the 8k, (which is far different than a 10k), they are just listing as an asset bonds which they have yet to pay for. they are also listing interest receivable . when i look at the 8k, i see things like this....
The company entered into a Global Trust Funding Agreement (the agreement), #252455770-03142006, executed on March 17, 2006 as a result of the acquisition of the bonds. The agreement includes a required payment of administrative fees of $400,000 which as of June 30, 2006 had not been paid and therefore, has been recorded as a liability on the balance sheet.
and this...
The first interest payment is due on August 8, 2006, in which interest receivable and revenue have been properly accrued, to the holders of the bonds (the Company).
which makes me wonder this...
if i was rufus, and just received 17,031,250 dollars into my company, why on earth would I not be harping on that rather than the evil short sellers?
so yes, they are audited... just like if you were to audit me I would tell you and you would agree that "I own my house", even though i haven't finished paying for it. But, yes, I can list it as an asset.
Read the 8k carefully... it's all in there.
THIS IS NOT ADVICE THIS IS NOT BASHING OR PUMPING THIS IS ONLY MY OPINIONS AND OBSERVATIONS DO NOT TAKE THIS AS DUE DILIGENCE DO NOT MAKE AN INVESTMENT DECISION ON WHAT I SAY I AM A COMPLETE MORON WHO HAD TO HAVE MOM READ THIS TO ME DO NOT BELIEVE ME DO NOT TRY TO FIGURE ANY LOGIC INTO MY STATEMENTS READ THE INFORMATION THE COMPANY PUTS OUT
OH.. there is a business plan alright...
its not about revenue, or 10 million in contracts bullet proofing jet fighters, or undersea nuclear power plants, or reshaping coastlines with a flotilla of hover crafts, or acquiring the rights to billions and billions of dollars in bonds...
the business plan is to sell stock, and lots of it.
a) make outlandish claims to get people to start to run a very cheap stock...
b) get it to a dollar or so and claim huge book value, but never really prove it
c) short the heck out of it against the box creating the appearence of a large short position
d) claim the shorts are going to cause a huge squeeze getting the stock even higher
e) sell it all, everybody makes a few mil, lay low for a few years and do it again!
has anyone read the 8k? i mean really read it?
well, i bought 11500 shares today... i hope ya'll are right
pls tell me what is there to be found? a link or a direction is most appreciated. thanks in advance.
Ok, Thank you Flash.... as long as he promised I feel better.
lol.. i was hoping I just didn't misunderstand.
the ceo of the company promised AT least 15 dollars a share when the SEC resets the price, right? He also promised to buy any shareholder out at 15 dollars a share, right?
ok... now i'm really confused...
if the pps goes down, doesn't that mean there is more supply than demand for the stock? and when a short covers that means they buy it, right?
please educate me.. what is 'T/A' and 'MA'?
how can they ever make a profit if they do not ever cover?
um yeah.. pretty bad eom.
SURE THEY ARE....
when someone enters a sell transaction with a brokerage if they don't have those shares it HAS to be entered as a 'short sale'. if the brokerage firm is not doing that they are in direct violation of the rules... and they get fined BIG TIME. Now i'm not saying it has never happend, but what i am saying is that if a customer sells and does not have those shares in deposit with that brokerage, then the brokerage is taking a HUGE risk.
WHAT IS happening is now we have a bunch of companies trying to pump there shares by saying that is happening to them.
take a look at the fines Wilson Davis incurred, or Merril...and trust me, Ameritrade (itself) is not short unless they accepted sells from an offshore account without accounting for the shares. it is intersting to me that the supposed short position in this stock is 75mil. do some research
when someone sells a call on PFE do you think they have the shares, or even have to borrow them? Stocks can and will Always trade. like it or not i can agree with you to buy or sell the stock.
if your short and the company pays a dividend you owe that dividend. plain and simple.
you guys should all read..
Reminencences of a stock operator available at www.amazon.com
please tell me in the history of the stock market where if a stock goes down after an IPO that the stock has been 'halted' for a 10 day 'cooling off period'.
vonage? ummmm...
please tell me.
maybe Holly Springs Baptist church didn't sell... i hope they hold long and strong!
anyone remember HEAVENS GATE? (eom)
Outposts on the moon, dredging amazon logs, trillions of dollars in carbon credits, (when the country of India hopes to have 5 billion dollars of credits in the next few years). And i had only hoped to import fancy chickens from france and sell them for thier meat once i bred them and started my own farm which i would value at 228,000,000 million dollars. but that damn bird flu got in my way.
OmG.. I wish i had read this before now....
Assets Are Large But Revenues Are Small Microcap companies sometimes assign high values on their financial statements to assets that have nothing to do with their business. Find out whether there's a valid explanation for low revenues, especially when the company claims to have large assets.
Odd Items in the Footnotes to the Financial Statements Many microcap fraud schemes involve unusual transactions among individuals connected to the company. These can be unusual loans or the exchange of questionable assets for company stock that may be discussed in the footnotes.
Unusual Auditing Issues Be wary when a company's auditors have refused to certify the company's financial statements or if they've stated that the company may not have enough money to continue operating. Also question any change of accountants.
Sounds like an apt description of our beloved.
ok... agreed... but WHO
'resets' the price?
will SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN TO ME
HOW THEY GET THE SEC TO 'RESET' THE PRICE OF THE STOCK?????
anyone have a link to the latest Rufus interview?
i'm all for it...
there should be a public forum to expose these kinds of things.
i don't own it, but i care a lot.
if this company can make these claims then i want to do the same thing...
in fact... i am fixing to leverage my not yet paid for tractor into a 8 million dollar note which i will use to build a canal through texas to carry remediated flood waters to arizona to irrigate thousands of acres of potential avacado crops to turn into 100,000s of thousands of jobs for migrating workers which i will then turn into soilent green to feed the masses.
not bashing, just very impressed
from that link you just posted....
According to Brazil’s Getulio Vargas Foundation consulting firm, which is an organizer of Wednesday’s carbon market launch, the Latin American carbon-credit market is expected to reach US$3.5 billion by 2007, 10 per cent of which is destined for Brazil.
10% is 300,500,000 right?
from the latest PR from CSHD...
The carbon
credits current value are approx. $4 trillion USD.
i have to ask too about the 'reset'
this would be the first company in america to get the SEC to 'reset' the price without a reverse split, a forward split, a buyout... wait a second... even in all of those cases the SEC doesn't 'reset' a price, the market does. In other words, the supply and demand for the stock sets the price. Not the company, not the SEC, not the NASD, not the market makers, just those willing to buy or sell at prices based on their beliefs about the prospects of the company.
so if i have a public company with 1,000,000 shares outstanding, and trading at 2 dollars, and my board declares a 1 for 5 reverse split, since only the color of the certificates have changed (less shares out, now just 200,000 shares), the market forces will reopen that stock at 10 dollars a share. Just like when a stock pays a dividend, on X-date it typically opens lower in the amount of that dividend.
So I too am confused about how this company expects to effect a 'price reset'. I'm not saying they won't. I'm not saying they can't, heck they have made history already. Never heard of anyone else adding 5 billion dollars in bonds and saying they can add them to 'book value' of the underlying company.
unless this company can come out with some fantastic news to cause people to believe even more in thier future prospects, I just don't see how they can 'declare' a 'price reset'.
just my questions and opinions... not bashing or pumping.
you mean NASDAQ, right?
the NASD is the National Association of Securities Dealers
http://www.nasd.com/index.htm
NASDAQ is....
http://www.nasdaq.com/ a publicly traded coporation (NDAQ)
and in my opinion, these brokerages are so horrified at what this company is saying.. (i.e. 'adding a 5 billion dollar bond') they don't want to get sued by their customers for letting them buy the stock.
and BTW... this so called 'NOBO LIST' doesn't mean that many shares are actually short... it just means that those are the shares that are held in street name, without the customer opting out. i.e. non-objecting.
just my humble opinion.. thats all.
in your opinion what do you think the price
would be if there were no bashers of this stock?
and is a basher the same thing as a nonbeliever stating an opinion?
not trying to argue, just trying to guage the 'bash' effect.
thats not really new...
this company worth billions of dollars in book value... by last count I think its like 12 billion with the addition of the 5 BILLION dollar bond...
there more better at grammar to.
carbon credits

the GDP of venezuela is 153.7 billion (2005 est) according to https://www.cia.gov/cia/publications/factbook/geos/ve.html
.. hmm... just speculating here... but perhaps the next acquisition we see is the country of Venezuela?... not bad for a company who had 1500 dollars in the bank 6 months ago.
I'm suitably impressed.
