Hey there Mick,
sorry for the delay but i just got in the door from Cuba.
Yes Sungold had a proposed race track on Native land just outside Detroit. The project never went anywhere as there were multiple problems going into it which only became compounded. The detroit proposal was one of Sungold's most plausible confabulations and was responsible for drawing them quite a bit of attention.
Things there have changed quite a bit. Anne Kennedy who had been corporate secretary, left a few years ago which was the start of changes. Then when Kim Hart passed away, it basically left Don Harris holding the books and the future in his hands.
That was the time at which Sungold changed directions a bit more and has now basically become an advertising sale outlet.
I could provide a run down of the past projects and how they failed but I think most people are aware of the long list.

funny enough, just yesterday i cleaned out one of my filing cabinets and uncovered a bunch of old correspondence and paperwork regarding my dealings with sungold. It was a great trip down memeory lane. I saved some of the good stuff as much of it bordered upon unbelievable at the time.
I wonder how many of the old shareholders are still following or holding this stock after all these years. I havent ventured over to ragingbull to see if anyone is left at all.
Robert
So le me get this straight,
your son is dating rawnoc's daughter? No wonder he has an interest in your finances.
Robert
okay,
seriously now how many people were guilible enough to try to look that up? lol.
Robert
That symbol is already taken by Tumberland Research and Design (TURD).
Robert
OT: tough betting at woodbine right now as the parimutual tellers are on strike this week. I take my lappy and do all my wagering through an online account. It sort of loses a bit of the feeling of holding a winning ticket, but it allows one to more easily manage and track their wagering strategies.
I find that I wager more when using an online account, but seem to net about the same return on a weekly average so far. I still cant do it from home though as it is a bit boring, so I find I have to go to the local track or a teletheatre here. Watching the results online or on tvg just isnt the same.
Robert
good to hear of your success elsewhere. Remember, trading is not for everyone. Some people are far too emotional or ignorant to endulge in such endeavors and others are just too stupid and deserve to have their excess funds liberated from them. Glad to hear you are not among that crowd, eh?
Personally, I'm hoping things start to implode across the entire marketplace soon, as it is far easier for me to achieve profitable trades in a declining market. At the present I dont hold a single long position in anything but tangible investments.
Best of luck
Robert
a fool and his money are soon parted.
Robert
I still believe they need a massive reverse before it would be worthwhile doing anything productive. But thats just my opinion.
Robert
2006 no posts?????????
flatlined, someone get the paddles.
but you would buy? interesting.
more then you got for your looms I bet, bwahahahaaa.

I have a good sized put position on CCU as of today so it won't break my heart to see that one reverse and lose about $6 by month end.
Robert
apparantly he has shortened his window of opportunity, lol.
Robert
Not only that, but he's not a very good loom salesman. But that is another story.
Robert
I know that area well, I even lived on an acreage about 20 miles due east of it for a year, but that was many years ago. The area just NW of there is called the gap and 2 of my good friends have cabins on the way there.
Todd creek area is usually windy as hell so most people spend their time a few miles further west where the land and the terrain provides a more hospitable and scenic experience.
I did try to find the hillspring property on a previous occassion I was down south but didnt manage to find it. If i get down to waterton soon I will take the hillspring road and see if I see anything new.
Robert
I camped just a couple miles from todd creek area for the long weekend. Weather was great, windy and warm. I never realized just how close Deltas property is to a cabin owned by a firend of mine. Several acquantances of mine have shacks near there in the Gap area.
Robert
I went there back in 92. It was in the dry season, but here's one my wife took of me trying to get a better shot. I think i was wearing a beefy-t and some gap khakis.
Robert
nothing worse then trying to tie up 4 horses in a one horse town. I'm going to invest in hitchin' posts.
robert
That would be good for everyone. Have a great weekend and stay out of the heat, its gonna be a hot one.
Robert
Thats right Jane,
glad to see a familiar face. How are things with your family? Did that nasty case of herpes ever clear up for you? I hope you managed to get an appointment at that free clinic down there.
How's the rest of the family? Did your two dads finally make it to Niagra Falls to tie the knot? Wish them well and ask them if they liked the Elton John CD collection I sent them as a wedding gift.
I was sad to hear that Matin had to fire you, but I guess you must understand that what you were doing in the parking lot was illegal, even if it was after hours and with only a few of the boys who work on the loading docks. Anyways, I heard you have turned pro now and are really making it big on the strip these days, so I guess it all worked out.
Best of luck to you and thanks for stopping by,
Robert
I tend to agree with you on that one. If nobody can find a diamond in the past 5 or more years that that exposed kimberlite has been picked over, I have doubts there is any there.
If i had to predict the future, it would be that Delta will disappear and a new company with related parties involved will mysteriously become the new owner of the mineral rights and claims and a whole new level of optimism will be promoted aggressively. If deltas results come back nothing but garnets and sand, I dont think anyone will ever hear about it. And the many months of silence seems to be saying that to me at this point.
Too bad, because this one had great potential to either find some diamonds or create much more momentum then it has ever been able to do.
Even though I think the odds are slim, I wish you all the best.
Robert
it could be a good one, im just thinking they are front loaded and this is when the dump follows. Im sure thats not true in all cases and that often a good company resorts to this sort of marketing, but as a general rules, any company more interested in advertising its stock is not a sound place to put your money.
Should be fun to watch anyways.
Robert
thats a tough choice.
got an email alert on this one today touting it to be the next UltraPetroleum and an easy 10 bagger, if anyone wants a copy of the email let me know and i will forward it.
The toutsheet recommends buying with a ceiling of 1.50 so I would imagine that somewhere around there will be where the guy who emailed me expects to be selling his shares.
Its always interesting to see if these guys can successfully increase volume, tomorrow should tell the tale.
Robert
damdamdamdamdamdam, i sold 2 days too early. I cant complain about the profit, but i could have had another 100% by waiting just a couple days. This price is ridiculous. I still think about 2.50 is where this one should be valued, so anything below looks like oversold to me.
your correct, the chart looks like its going to fall off the page soon.
Robert
wow, tough not to sell those calls today. I'm sitting at about 120% return on them with over a month til expiry. Wish I could do that 5 times a month.
Robert
wheres nortel heading? down another 50 cents by summer I imagine. The only thing worse then having to come clean on their financials is the fact that they cant even come clean on them in a half-fast manner. Too bad, because i sincerely believe they have amazing potential but the fact that they cant seem to get their act in order has just kicked the heck out of investor confidence here.
I've got a bunch of june $3 calls that are green as can be, but i am going to hang onto them betting that they will miss their next filing as well and i will score better then a double on them.
that paulie is so good with photoshop, it just amazes me.
I will be in Great falls this weekend, if I thought there would be any action out at the properties I'd make the detour, but I hate to make the extra trip if all im going to find is mud and tumbleweeds.
Robert
I'm expecting a reverse split before I expect detailed sampling results. The outstanding share count is just way too much and the share price is too uselessly low to carry on any sort of business. Maybe 200:1 would get these guys back into a position where they can operate with some prospect of hope again.
Best of luck to those with patience.
Robert
What exactly do you see that makes it a good trade? Nothing jumped out at me but im openminded to hear your due diligence on this one.
Robert
