I tried to contact the company and they never got back to me so I was distrustful and didn't get in. That was back at .65.

I'm not pizzed or anything, If a company doesn't contact me back I will never buy their stock. Period.

Spec stocks are hard enough to make money on and when they can't communicate with shareholders it scares me.

I've looked through all the info pretty thoroughly and you're right, they do have a more sustainable system.

No problem on NBF. I've researched them pretty thoroughly and think the current prices are an absolute steal. There may still be some downward pressure but not for long as they'll be bringing a 60mm gal/yr plant up to full speed by the end of the 3rd qtr. Ramping up production test runs as we speak.

Take a look at their mgmt profiles on their website. Heavy hitters. Most all ex-oil guys.

No just watching. Not sure about the ethanol route but it's so big now I don't see it going away. I like biodiesel. I'm in NBF. Take a look if you're interested. IMO, it's a great time to consider it.

Scenario play out:

15th: waiting on confirmation, should be any second!!!!
16th: Got the soon to be cleared ok to confirm release of confirmation.
19th: Waiting on the clear.
20th: Ok got cleared, now waiting on release of confirmation.
21st: Release of confirmation right after bank board reviews all loan docs.
23rd: Bank board meets to schedule meeting.
25th: Meeting scheduled.
28th: Meeting held, board member sick, rescheduled meeting to schedule new meeting.

That's true but not always realistic for all investors. Shorters are no more prophetic than the lucky long. Easy to say short the financials now but how many people were saying that before the nose dive? Few.

And how do you know you will keep losing value in something? You get in because you think you're near the bottom and while you're in the trade, shuffling shares around is dangerous business. Patience prevails with solid companies.

And Gelbaum, he has to know the impact of his trading activities. That's a big red flag for me. If I was actively in this I might shoot him an email or give him a call and ask him what gives....

So what is the catalyst of change with this one? The trend buster. I'd be going long if I were you.

Honestly I don't bother with the guessing game if I see a stock I want to get in and feel confident with them. I've been buying NBF all the way down and get more excited when I see the price decline. I just buy more. Keep cost averaging.

One way to look at it when buying stocks is that the earlier you get in the closer you are to being long on the stock which has material advantages when you sell. Less taxes, etc. So as soon as you get in, everyday, you gain a tax advantage.

Makes me feel better anyway when I see a stock I own decline in price :)

No, that pretty much sums it up. I thought the same things.

They're basically saying, "here's a bone, now shut up or you'll get nothing!" They're probably tired of getting 20 emails everyday asking for explanations.

To me, at this point, it makes no sense that if the deal went through they'd have to wait until April to get it.

It's obvious they're stalling for time but what they hope to gain and what their ultimate plan is is anybodies guess.
