Wow short interest up to 5,086,000 10/31/19 up about 500,000 from 10/15/19. Which is why the price dropped to $3.87 last week. Since 11/1/19 the short interest rate has fallen to 38% today. Or down about 5 % since 11/1/19
West what Is the date of this data?
Phantom, do you think a merger with James Allison checkpoint inhibitor vista is a great fit with our pancreatic multiTAa.
Maciste For the time being my friend! They are pros but this is going to be another MRTX.
Fat The shorts have one fatal flaw that I have discovered and I am not going to let them in on the secret. Lol burn baby burn. I will reveal the flaw after they get burned. Wait for it!
Shorts are playing with fire! All we need is a partnership on pancreatic cancer or another deal that Steve Elms assists our CFO on or another remission on pancreatic cancer trial.
Micro I would think so. Maybe a fast track for our multiTaa treatments with Trump taking credit for lower cost cancer treatments. I think we will be just like MRTX shortly. They have gone from $5 to $95 in a few years.
Hans You may be on to something . All I know is that most of us have only increased our positions as the stock has fell and with blackrock and vanguard owning over 3 million shares in total there is getting to be less float out there. My neighbor now owns 45,000 shares since he picked up 2,000 shares the other day. His broker owns 30,000 shares . Me and some of my friends own over 20,000 shares each so when the price makes a run and none of us sell. The shorts will be in a world of hurt. Short interest rate for shorts is down to 42.75%.
Hans 3.4 million shares added by institutions during the 3rd quarter with 1.1 million of institutional shares sold for a net of 2.3 million shares based on the tape I ran.
Fidelity short interest rate 48%. Lloyd well said and thanks
Forbes article today on Tpiv 100/200!! Just a matter on time until Joe Q. Public puts two and two together that Marker Therapeutics owns the vaccines the article talks about for breast and ovarian cancer.
Thanks 123tom. 57.25% fidelity interest rate down was 61% last week for most of the week. Back in June when there was 4.3 million shares shorted the rate was zero. It appears that fidelity wants them to cover . My estimate they pay over $1 million of interest a month assuming all the shorts are at fidelity
You never answered his question 123tom? Why not ? He specifically asked you about the future when it hits $9 and beyond.
Thanks phantom and thanks for the links!
Can anyone pull up the investor presentation that the cfo is talking about from the just released 8k?
I am glad the increase in share price has perked you up. We just have to be wait this out for more trial results
Maciste My friend I am still long up to my eyeballs with my shares. Thanks for asking just took a posting break. My current thoughts are as follows: short interest was 4.5 million as of yesterday and fidelity’s Interest rate is 61% currently the shorts are paying. The shorts have covered $1 million shares over the last 75 days which is why the price has increased. If all shares were shorted at fidelity I estimate they are sitting on around $3 million of profits and their monthly interest expense is around $1 milllion a month. So I believe they will exit their short position within the next month or so. I don’t think they can hammer this down again Imo to the science , I am hopeful a second person will be in complete remission for Pc shortly
We need somebody to carry a sign out the 2020 Espys award stating the Fidelity Investments is opposed to Pancreatic cancer research and the V foundation.
Time to inform Katie Couric about Fidelity Investments actions! Well my neighbor has a friend that personally knows Katie Couric. I think an interview by her with a rep at fidelity is warranted. 1st question why does fidelity investments purposely try to thwart the V foundations efforts in pancreatic research by aggressively opposing funding on biotech companies like Marker?
Investigate this Market maker! How does the price stay the same on 285k shares bought after the close and doesn’t move the share price? I am still confused how the market maker took the price down $2 a share before the market opened on July 19th?
68% is the interest rate. I figure the shorts have about a $5 million profit that gets eroded by $1.3 million for their monthly interest payment. They shorts are covering now
I think our market cap is undervalued because we went off the normal Wall Street track by using a foreign investment banker in Nomura for the merger. If we can get a second remission in pancreatic cancer then nothing can keep this price per share down.
Micro, I think like you because midday today I had my appifiny and thought that Blackrock was/is one of our shorters
Micro There is a silver lining in the Blackrock shares and their beat down of our stock! When this heads up the shares are consolidated into not to many hands and we are not selling .
Thanks phantom! I agree with every point of your assessment. I would like to see a pancreatic partnership too. I believe that is our best potential source of cash
Phantom, Would warrant holders consider to covert once we get above $5 so we would then have cash to start phase 2 studies so we aren’t delayed since we won’t/can’t do shelf at these leveld. Wouldn’t it be in there self
Interests?
Needed financial expertise on the board! Love the move .
We own a business, no one is taking my ownership away from me! It has only become more valuable since the merger. We have excellent results so far on our PC trial. Baylor is conducting a sarcoma trial and breast cancer trial. The only thing that has changed in the last year is the short interest of 5.5 million. I agree with phantom our day to day stock price doesn't change our continuing the phase I trials and the excellent therapies that we own.
Atta We don’t need the money now! There is not shelf at these prices . How many times does this need to be repeated?
I think you are right. I thing they will go long too. They are clearing out some people
That would be wonderful. The shorts still need to cover . They are paying about $500k a week in interest
Glad I never gave them a boatload more shares to short.
FYI picked up a few shares at $4.99 long and strong!!
V foundation funds our PC trial, while Fidelity attempts to fight cancer research bye slowing Pancreatic Cancer phase II I trials by hindering our $200 million shelf. What an embarrassment Fidelity has become after their founder has past. I wonder what he would think?
Phantom, IMO Ask Peter to do news release on a Friday morning so the shorts would only have Friday to cover and they would have to pay interest for the Saturday and Sunday . Just my thoughts when we announce 2nd person in remission and BT from FDA.
Yep Fidelity trying to stop cancer cure by funding the shorts to take MRKR down. Is the few dollars they are making worth their reputation? 4fat I am watching 8 mile with emenim!
Annual interest rate, you would still own the shares but fidelity lends them to shorts who are now paying 82.25% interest rate. The interest rate changes daily. I would imagine with the shorts activity day the rate will go higher tomorrow.
Investor, sorry but I have one question . For my margin account, for an example if i own 10,000 shares and have 1,000 shares on margin can fidelity only lend out the 1,000 shares?
Yes fidelity wants to loan out a non margin account. I won’t do it
You would think one of the warrant holders would convert for us to raise cash and show their support
