exxcellent
I believe Tom you know! He has an onerous task of dealing with so many frickin shares, but he'll figure it out. He's a smart boy.
Happy Thanksgiving. Exciting to determine where we'll be next year at this time.
I'm not certain how, but i believe Tom is going to pull this off.
There are a hell'of'a'lot of stocks out there, but I think Tom
will make this good. How? Don't know. But the future will be rosy.

The excitement on this board is contagious. Its so positive when the company does well and it is reflected in the PPS. it was a great day. Let's pray the same for tomorrow and subsequent days. Would be nice to ride this all the way up!!!
A few things:
a) "Watching stocks is like watching paint dry", so said W. Buffet. It's true.
b) ....and because it's so frickin slow any dramatic news feels spectacular. Keep everything in context. We have a ways to go.
c) Rich has worked hard and is deserving of accolades (as well as apologies)
d) Nothing is a guaranteed down here. Nothing. So before you actually take the tape off of the back seats of your brand new fire-truck red Porsche (a frickin beautiful vehicle, I'm sure) be more patient. We're in the pinkys still.
Congrats to Rich and CB. I'm still loosing a chunk but I believe in you!!! Congrats to we stock holders. Go ICNB go! And who doesn't love a good party.
GOIN GREEN that's my gut sense too, but hw do you know this?
this is great DD. Way to go!!!! You are so committed to making this stock fly. Thank you.
My experience as well. I think the product is something people like, hence sales and what appears to be re-sales. The funds required to keep the door open and get product out there is available and now more so, and the roll out continues.
Personally i don't know why anyone would want to go public with all the bull---t they have to put up with. But that being said, Go ICNB go!!!!
Companies like this are always juggling cash. Cash flow is everything, and if you don't have it, nothing else matters. So Rich's announcement was a good one, because it means he's staying ahead of the game, with the ability to borrow for future orders. This also means, stores are buying the product. Everything else is just nuance. Run a business, and you'll see. This is good!
My fish died today. My son is going to be so upset. and that bothers me much more than the BVTK action going on. I feel that the sentiment about this company/stock and Tom is now far more realistic. More and more hub participants are seeing Tom and BVTK in a more balanced light, and yes there are those who have shifted to a negative outlook of both. And that is good. You'll remember the sentiment a month and prior was just to fantasy like. It's far more realistic nowadays. That augers well for the PPS.
While I await the ascent of this stock, this really should not be a surprise as we all expected dilution. Long BVTK. A most fascinating ride.
What blows me away, is the realization that Tom, and other CEOs in public companies, know that there will be a bombardment of character assassination leveled at them while they grow their company.
I read the posts on this hub regularly, and think: this guy Tom must be Teflon to read this stuff and continue forward. But I don't ultimately belief that is the case.
No doubt this stuff gets to him. How could it not? I really think he gave the CC to defend himself and let those listening know he is a good guy, bright and generous.
And I also think that if Tom is anything near what he is accused of being, a scam artist, then he is also a fool as there seems to be little transparency when one is running a public company. How many people are this hub alone are digging for the 'dirt', or what they call the 'truth'? A bunch.
Who in their right mind would enter into such a process, knowing they will be shot down by those watching if there is anything really dirty on them.
I don't believe Tom is a liar and cheating us because the magnitude of his lie would be so great, it would be easily found out.
if the cc was more of an open back and forth where questions could be thrown out, and Tom would answer them and debate issues that would have been helpful. but it seems the purpose of the CC was more to assuage a bunch of investors who bash BVTK, and perhaps set the straight.
All in all, i think the CC was fine. And that is what Tom emailed me when i asked him how he thought it went. His response? "fine"
My sense is he did this in part because of his ego, which as stated previously, is somewhat fragile because his socio-economic status. One might think he is on top of the world, and he might just be, but when you're swimming with the fish and some sharks he is in the pond with that must do a number on your sense of self as well.
It felt like he was proving himself to us, as though some hub-posts really do get to him. I have no problem with that. Such is life. The US president is pretty much as as insecure as they come so why not everyone else.
In short, it was good to put a voice to the man and hear the stuff in between the lines, like his confidence in BVTK, his commitment to the company, and his belief in giving back.
Was good. Go BVTK go!!!!
i thought that the CC was positive and while there wasn't any new information it was good to put a voice to the man. it personalizes the company and that makes investors feel stronger.
As per Tom's incessant talk about himself that is not unusual when you're dealing with guys who are so incredibly successful and networked. They, per my experience, have a strong sense of self and are constantly being congratulated for one thing or another. Tom is a salesperson, in fact the consummate CEO - and that's a good thing. While it might be a bit annoying to hear how hard he is working (b/c after all who doesn't), at the end of the day that's what i want him to be doing.
The CC was good as were most of the questions. WEll done!!!! Go BVTK go.
Sh--- happens.
So nervous!!!! :)
The CC, in my estimation, will be a basic conversation about what has gone on, and perhaps with a tidbit of exciting news about the company's future, to encourage those listening.
The stock will continue to move sideways until/if something very real is communicated through a PR or otherwise - reflecting a partnership and actual revenue/profit. I do believe that BVTK is on the road to something amazing, however doubt it'll come today. I say this, speculating of course (IMO), because i don't think the company is ready to announce such news. It doesn't seem that way.
Tom is bright and has all bases cover. He knows how important an actual voice (his actual voice) is on this journey and will likely speak calmly, succinctly and with a leadership inflection (sort of like, "everything is in control. Be patient. It'll be good").
AS for a buyback has anyone been privy to a buy back? Can you tell us what it looked like (eg. how did the stock fare afterwards?). And of course, i could be wrong about all of this and today could be the beginning of something astronomical. We'll see.
Go BVTK go!!!!
My guess for the CC tomorrow is:
Tom and company will give an explanation reflective of everything we know, much of what we have hypothesized about, and perhaps a tid-bit of new information. He will answer questions, tossing out some clarification and in his style, be somewhat ambiguous.
Why is he doing the cc? He has to do this CC to assuage investors, and/or us. It is wise.
We, on this hub, will spend the rest of the week analyzing his every word, and likely will continue a back-and-forth in reference to his statements, the entire weekend.
Baring an incredible announcement, the stock will stay the same, i.e. keep on moving sideways. This will only change when a down-to-earth, hometown pr etc. is released stating and/or confirming: new business, revenue and profit.
So enjoy the CC. Have reasonable expectations and be patient. Of course there is every reason in the world that I am wrong and instead Tom announces a buyback or something else that is delicious.
Either way, the ride is a bumpy one, but a good one. Enjoy.
Go BVTK go!!!! Much luck tomorrow with your questions. I will be listening. Be patient. and let the man talk....a lot. That is the way to glean information.
The Conference Call
1 TenKay, good questions. They cut to the chase
2. does the conference call have any legal bearing on the stock. I.e. if Tom makes a statement about a BVTK move of signifiance, is that considered by SEC to be a policy statement? Could this call move the PPS?
is it 7:00 am for those reading this? gearing up for the day? :)
great enthusiasm Mikar. Well done!
For those, such as myself, who want this stock to go to the moon, and believe it might, i still wonder what, in simple terms was BVTK really up to prior to this current shake-up. Example: why was it such a mess even with Tom at the helm.. was he fighting a terrible battle with previous errors and mistake, or did he screw things up. If so, how bad was it and what brought it around. I'd just like to understand the real, authentic history of this company and Tom's role as CEO in the bad and good times. I have not read a cogent explanation on this hub or anywhere else.
1. Did Tom change?
2. Did BVTK begin to be so positive because of time, and Tom's ability to pull things around, or was it a function of something else.
The missing link. Don't get it. You?
Tom ran a business - BVTK - for a few short years in a way that was negative. He must have had little to work with or he was a bad businessman at the time.
Then BVTK got enough legs for him, an accomplished academic, writer and government employee, to execute a new plan. This is the way i see it.
Now BVTK is current, albeit current from a state that was not at all healthy that he oversaw, and seems to be closing deals. Is he a good enough businessperson to make BVTK the magical mystery tour so many are looking for? He might be.. it's hard to say, but it's well worth hanging on and being part of this crazy-ass trip.
I am and if it tanks, well it does. Ill be minus some cash and royally disappointed. if it takes off, in any way that is substantial, well then we will all meet in Rochester and have some wicked kosher ribs or some vegan mashed potatos.
Go BVTK Go!!!!
Tom is running a business, at the speed it takes to run a business, slowly. this does not equal expectations of participant hubs who generally work at the speed of flippers, in other words fast.
If you believe in this stock, put it in the closet and check on it once a week, or every now and then. Accept that BVTK is really like a start-up (yes i know it's not) and will move as such, with deals coming when they come.
The only criticism i have of Tom is that he is so accessible. By doing so he plays into the inappropriate attitude of hub participants, who call this a scam, or state 'he'll go to the slammer' etc. when PR's etc are not put out when they want it.Tom would do well to go below the radar a tad rather than being so forthcoming to all of us, yes, and sometimes exaggerating. He can do that.
If there is an RS, then there will be one. be patient it'll happen when it happens. if there is a buy-back, same thing.....it'll be when it'll be.
BVTK, a company not to be rushed before it's time.
BVTK would get a strong vote of confidence if it went green today, particularly in a substantial way. An increase of 5-10% would be welcomed and reflect a decent breakout and investor confidence.
"Jets"
i believe that Tom will be producing 'The Jetson's'
I told my MOM I don't buy it, but she's convinced.
if Tom had said, '...ha, take it easy', would BVTK be engaged in a deal with Eazy-Chair?
Or if he said, 'chill out', would BVTK be about to sign a deal with a Jamaican drug-lord?
What if he posted, 'calm down' might that be a hint of BVTK signing a letter of intent with a pharmaceutical company?
Don't mean to be chinzy here, but watching Tom's every movement, and latching on to his every word, may not be in anyone's interest. the only one who has to worry about expressing cliches and there impact on a market, is Trump, and he could give a crap.
FYI: Even though the stop sign is down, RBC (Royal Bank of Canada) will not accept an order to purchase. It was rejected, the reason stated was innocuous however.
i salute you too!!!
Tenkay, let me know if I"m explaining this correctly okay?
Anyone who is holding a note, i.e. debt, on BVTK can now sell that note for cash. Right?
Noteholders can now convert and sell under Rulle 144 after 6 months from issuance of the note. Up to this point they could only do so after the underlying debt was about 2 years old under Section 4(a)1.
Jewish holidays actually end on Friday night, which leads into Shabbat (the sabbath), so if OWCP management is religious you'll not hear from them after Wednesday night until Monday.
RN1 could you spell out the consequences of being current etc. would help.
Thank you! I look forward to Monday and the entire week as the possibility for change Is highly palpable. Bvtk might be at a juncture in time. We maybe at a crossroads however difficult to say which turn it'll take. I uunderstand 2 schools of thought: 1) a percentage of lucrative contracts will take us higher; 2) going current means Debtors will step in. What to do? Well in my case, my gut tells me to hang on to all my shares and enjoy the ride. Could i loose? Sure. I could loose too w Apple. Will I loose? Naaah. Too much expertise. Debt will be tough but there is/will be enough revenue to take us high! Go BVTK go!!!!
IS THE OTC MARKET OPEN MONDAY?
Monday is Thanksgiving in Canada.
I'm assuming OTC is open on MOnday, correct?
Tom is working his ass off. if people really lost their ass when working hard, Tom wouldn't have one. He'll do good by BVTK. HIs production is incredible - i.e. the documentation he's put out over the last short while. BVTK to the moon!!!
Rich does indeed have stuff to answer for. Agreed. He's made those mistakes I spoke of (which I have not made). But i think re. ICNB he's doing a good job
Rich is doing an amazing job. As someone who was once a CEO i know what it's like to roll-out a brand, and he's doing it well. I made a lot of mistakes, as any CEO does, but I never have to endure the criticsm he does, or most pinky CEO's. I really don't know how they endure it. When this thing goes up, which it will, substantially, a lot of people on this hub will owe him an apology for their trash talk.
Rest in peace, Tom Petty.
lol me too :)
