I am looking forward to the shift of interest from retail to institutional. Entirely different group of people to relate to - they use a more complex methodology in viewing an investment. It will be a nice change.
It appears he didn't handle things on your timetable. Mine either. Not our call. But he has made many more calls that I agree with than I take exception to. A disaster, no. I don't short stocks. Something about it rubs me the wrong way. It's a hiccup in my plans to leave the OTC. But I am only one of many. More people will benefit from this opportunity, good people, hard to be too upset.
They have already won. This is nextgen Alpine. Growth is a given here.
I don't see it as stupid. It was the right thing to do. And I am staying because when people do the right thing and weather the storm that comes with it, those are people I can trust. That is what is most important to me. I may not always like his choices, but I never feel lied to.
I can't say that about most or many of the CEO's that I know, both personally and as a shareholder.
Lies of omission are still a betrayal of trust.
I have just about a million more shares than you do. Here's my take on it. Thank-God one of the CEO's of the penny stocks listed on the OTC had the integrity to lay it on the line. We are going to NYSE. Not maybe, not we hope to, we are going. So, get in or move on. Those who are staying will be rewarded. Those who want to leave during this transition period, best of luck to you.
still on hold.
with all due respect, you do not appear to understand the difference between dilution and restoration. $ALPP
then you need a decongestant. $ALPP
and that is why he is such a great leader and we are so lucky to have him at the helm. Good morning, Griff.
I usually buy at the ask. I know what is happening here and I see the end result very clearly. This is an uncomfortable transition for some. I feel liberated from the machinations of the extreme right and left with the uplist. The more we buy, the more we hold, the less downside there is. Basic stuff, really.
This I know. The traders we are losing now were dead weight. An anchor around our uplist. Thank you, Kent, for retaking control over the direction of our investment. I appreciate your commitment to the success of your team and your shareholders. $ALPP
and I own millions of shares and am still accumulating.
Thank you.
I am not buying anything until I see what is being offered. And acted upon with accountability checks in place. Significant is a matter of degree in this case, I agree.
Is that your idea of what was referred to as a positive event?
Agreed on every point.
Conflict of interest? Whose interest might that be? It is their company, their sweat, their blood and their sacrifice. I am happy to be along for the ride. The shareholders are going to do just fine. Amply rewarded for their minimum investment.
Class, competence, growth, direction, drive and profit. Everything is lining up just as it should for the company and shareholder's benefit. If a person isn't a retail holder with an institutional mindset, then this is probably not the right "play" for them. $ALPP
Neil is lamenting the state of politics and the lack of good news in the news. I suggested he might start by doing the housekeeping in his own firm. That was deleted, of course. He paints a lovely picture of a world traveler, devoted husband and doting father. Addressing global problems with the broad strokes of a humanitarian and an empathetic leader. Facebook. Hmm.
It is in sharp contrast to what the eventuality of this proposed uplift turned out to be.
"They work for the shareholders..." They sure as heck don't. They work for themselves and the health of the company. The shareholders are the beneficiary's for a pittance of that effort.
by all means.
I agree with you about Willard. But I am going to stand by what I said about Roland. He is a good man.
Roland would not intentionally mislead anyone.
I was going to volunteer for that reverse split, November. 3 million plus shares, move over Bill Gates. Just kidding. Good points.
Ah, here you are. I love that you think this is a scam. Just restores my confidence in my decision to buy and hold. As Gomer Pyle would say, Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you.
Did I misunderstand? That is a page under development with no indication of what the website is about.

Thank you.
Again, if I may have the name of the company that you brought to Nasdaq, I am interested in learning and would like to research the company, the product or services that you offer and management's performance before I give any weight to your observations. Thank you.
Thank you, Griff.
Fair enough. Would I be out of line in asking your what your company name is? And what your interest in Alpine is? You must have thought there was value here at one time. Right?
oh my goodness.
Bottom line - not your company not your call. And I am so far from a pumper-just ask any of the others on the board that have been the object of my inquiry.
I am not suggesting that you don't have a right to your opinion. I don't understand wallowing in misery over something that you have no control over. It appears that every day someone is searching for something to commiserate over without providing any concrete resolution to the problem.
how did you handle your uplist, John? Because I hear your concerns but I don't see any comparison to contrast it to.
That's just misleading and unfair. If I truly believed in what is being written here, I would be embarrassed to continue holding a stock that I felt was so poorly backed and represented by management. If you feel that you made a subpar choice in going with Alpine, chalk it up to experience, allow others to have their own experience, which may be different than yours, and move on to greener pastures.
Your view is too simplistic. Everything has been accounted for in relation to the fluctuation in price. I am sorry if you are upside down at this point. You are just going to have to wait. I sincerely believe that the price will rise and you will be able to sell and with a nice ROI.
I am sorry but you are just wrong here. There is nothing more to be said than that. Chaka is right on this holding.
Big things have happened, are happening now and will continue to happen in the future. Past, present and future. I think that about covers it. And if a shareholder isn't clear as to what and when that may be, it is because the appropriate time to make that public has not arrived yet. Frankly, if I were in their place my response would be, "I am not in a position to meet your demand for information at this time as it is not in the best interest of the company, which includes the shareholder base and when it is, the steps will be taken to make it known through the proper channels." You either have the confidence to wait or you don't. If you don't, sell. If you do, wait.
You are entitled to your opinion. But I am being completely straight with you when I suggest that you need to go back and vet this thing. Your numbers are off. You are making assumptions based on unknown quantities. It is just not possible to draw credible conclusions off of flawed data.
