I don't know why the need to speculate or mislead if the information is available. There's a past post by someone connecting the "dots" on the Quantum - Nitto connection. They have (partners) so yes it is possible another partner made the film but I would say that they have had Nitto in the forefront in all their comments and PRs and filings.
Agreed.
Year and a half ago ?

Sorry, my point was that he seemed to have a better technical handle on the science than your average tech writer.I agree he is hire to promote but he didn't do that in my call.
From Jamis post on Nanosys CF
"The company is also working on electrically-activated quantum dot materials, but this remains in the research phase as they are shifting their efforts from Cd-based to Cd-free materials, with a focus on the blue material to start."
Not quite in agreement with your assessment but I am hoping to hear more soon from IR who said he is going to CES and will have a complete write up on all the displays using quantum dots and Quantums film in general.
The tech writers have already confused some TV specs as having embedded quantum dots so I'm hoping a first hand viewing and write up can clear some of that up.Mr.Chase was very technically sound on my call and was very reserved on Quantum and the industry at this time and didn't hype anything. He seemed very enthused by the latest release and said it should be an exciting year ahead for Quantum and the quantum dot market in general.
The models Nanoco are showing are demonstrator models.I believe they had a "demonstrator" model with LG that never made it to market. As stated here a supply contract or business development agreement will clear the cloudy waters for both Quantum and Nanoco, until then they are both showing prototypes they likely paid to have produced for them. It's a great start in my opinion and I would very much like to hear about the specs of the film they are showing.
Good to see your mood has changed from pessimism to optimism. In fact it seems that good news changes even the worst of the pessimists.I had a chance to call IR today and after repeated calls I finally got through, busy fella Mr.Chase and very cordial as well.Sounds like he will be doing some extensive coverage on the latest news as well as CES soon and was very happy with this commercial event.Great guy ,enjoyed my call.
The wars are fought in the trenches at CES not on the floor with the public.Having a film showing equal or better than what's out there is a no brainer that there will be interested parties.Hard to sell it before it was completed wouldn't you say.If you like though you could wear a placard and dance down mainstream,I wouldn't be opposed to it.Need some coverage from CES and or another source to draw new investors from in order to see a SP escalation.I'm happy nonetheless with the progress made in a short period of time.Holding to prosper,
Should change my handle to Pac-Man.chomp chomp chomp.Gobbling up cheap ones : )
Well we know both Samsung and Apple will not and the industry follows trends. If cadmium wasn't an issue QDV would have continued on and Nanosys would not care about making cad free which they are attempting to do at this time.
The problem with that is that Samsung has demonstrated that a display of high quality has been made using ZERO cadmium and if that is possible why use any Cadmium ? Apple has also stated they would consider using quantum dots if there was zero cadmium in them.I believe Apple would look at this tech once the performance levels are closer to cadmium , more so on the side of power consumption which Apple needs to improve. In a device with a cord such as a tv that comment is less relevant, but in a phone ( OLED ) where brightness is my key bitching point in bright daylight a qd display that had high NITS with less battery draw would be in immediate demmand.
I'm not going with what this board tells me but rather what the market is dictating especially in relation to Samsung's proactive push for quantum dot products and the great success and its market acceptance to date.Follow the leader is the game here and there is prime opportunity to stake a big position as clearly seen by QDVs shut down,Nanosys lack of cadmium free film,Nanoco's inability to fulfill its promises to date.Clearly this technology is in its initial ramp stage and where many investors made their fortunes in tech stocks was by getting in at this point.I haven't looked at any initial posts because none of that matters.Looking at the present and future of Quantum Materials Corp is where I am at.
Thanks for your input using reasonable deductions.Enjoy reading your posts and hope to discuss positive events in 2017 for Quantum Materials as key events happen.I believe beyond CES there is the QD forum and Display week all ahead for Quantum to attend.
It's always good to start a New Year with negativity.A good friend always said to me to remove the negatives in your life and you will be happy and live longer.Let me help you bare that cross by selling your shares to me in the open market this week.I will help set you free of this burden you carry : )
Happy New Years to all ! May your investment portfolios overflow with riches in 2017.Remember to share those riches with those without and you will be truly blessed !
I like to mix it up.Rum and coke.Tossed salad.Dance mix.Give it a try sometime and enjoy life a little. It's time to party ,enjoyed the entertainment today!
The comedy show is that everyone here's name apparently is Rich.I'll go with that, who doesn't want to be "Rich"!
A/S pretty well has to happen to cover all outstanding stock ,options etc.RS and preferred do not at this moment.Having bought recently and adding to my position it still looks solid to me.As posted by Jamis on Nanosys not executing on cad free and QDVisions demise the playing field has recently tightened up with a limited amount of cad free producers.A major showing at CES by Samsung with its cad free offerings will only benefit any cad free producer and show the market that OLED is not the future.
As much as I was a proponent of Sri based on his bio the 14a set my spidey senses tingling.I think they thought they could test the shareholders mettle and lost the battle of attrition.Mr.Squires is a large shareholder who's position could have also been compromised under the filing proposed.I will go with the recent Kisco news as my positive note moving forward into 2017.
Jamis , I agree with your post and would reiterate that if the shareholders created this action then it makes me feel pretty assured that our voices are being heard.I would rather be heard and be respectfully treated as a shareholder than be shoved aside by new money or benefit of the board.
Ladies and gentlemen please , it's the holidays for many still and to release any news during it would be very poor.CES starts next week so if they have anything to announce the timing would be appropriate then not now.I've been on holiday mode and will be engaged with this again after the new years.I do have a lowball bid in case someone feels like giving me cheap shares though :) Have a great week and New Years !
Thanks for taking time to call.I would preference the fact the CFO is bound by SEC rules and so people shouldnt expect anything new that isn't public knowledge being disclosed.I believe the are closer than they state to contracts.Originally Sri said they were a bit away from putting of all together and then not long after we get a PR saying we have 3rd party validation. That doesn't happen over night so I would say when he was saying they were still a bit away from putting all three things together that they were already at that point but were waiting for Kisco to evaluate and give the thumbs up.I think they are sandbagging a bit under this new management and are ahead of where we perceive them to be.These are my own thoughts based on the CEO'S public comments.I hope he has a Christmas present under the tree for us this year !
Ramp up for production and cost associated with such can easily be covered under the 9.75 million dollar line of credit that has been established.RS will not happen until contracts and revenue streams are in place. To move to the Nasdaq without either would be foolhardy at best.
If your talking about asking questions verse stating facts that aren't correct thats two different things. My apologies if the handle I chose offends you.I was thinking it might look good on my license plate one day and didn't know there was explicit rules on ihub about using any words that represented what Quantum does as an entity. It's not like I used MrQMC or MrQuantumMaterialsCorp .My observations is there are some that like to take pot shots and leave the scene after leaving false or misleading info and don't take responsibility for their error.Best to you regardless!
Totally agree on all points ! To many people using what ifs to express their fears instead of using rational thinking.
Thanks for that and taking the time to call. This is the reason despite the uproar of late and the statement that some are tired and are going to sell they still hold.We are close !
These are the posts I enjoy reading .Thank you very much for your input In regards to that info we should also understand that Quantum is uniquely positioned in a emerging market with minimal competition and growth beyond the display sector.Reading how fast some of the early internet, computer chip and home computer companies grew lends me to think this could ramp very quickly and if it does then it comes down to how the growth strategy is managed.I believe the company at the moment is preparing itself for this and we are seeing some of the steps being taken. This technology is still relatively unknown or covered mainstream by the general public, with exceptional of the many Samsung tvs ads I see ongoing stating quantum dot technology.Free advertisement for our technology is a start via Samsung commercials but I would like to see more coverage in the many tech writers articles online or in print.A concentrated media push by Quantum marketing dept on the many multimedia channels would be another area to ramp up as news comes available.I feel Quantum is ready to launch very soon and the demmand will outstrip supply in short.Let's aldo be vigal about disinformation as we move forward as I have noticed there has been a bit of that here time to time without any acknowledgment of the misinformation posted wether by accident or on purpose. Thanks kindly.
Are you spreading rumors ? Lol
Haha that was funny Jamis. You scooped me on that one!
As per my previous post I have conformation that Kenji Shimada is indeed the President. All it took was a call!
Here is the contact info for those who would like to think otherwise.

End of discussion !
This goes to the issue of some investors being followers like sheep when the wolves show up here to cause carnage.
Quantum Materials Co (QTMM)
0.099831 ? -0.000169 (-0.17%)
Pretty well much says it all when talking about life on the OTCBB.Painting it red,no manipulation here ? none at all ?
Sorry do not know what your inferring but I was using a common phrase to state if we knew what they were planning rather than guessing we would not be having so much conjecture as to what the future holds in Quantum.Hopefully they can elaborate in a LEGAL statement their business intentions with the latest filings.Maybe I'm missing your humor.
It would be nice to be a fly on the wall at a board meeting and hear what the strategy is.Hopefully they can explain their strategy without giving to much away or formerly announce a supply contracts or collaboration.Ken Werner interview brought some more insight and left me feeling there definitely will be products in the market using Quantums materials.
Sir.I would say some of your past info was not correct from reading this board and before we all assume the company would make a false statement of title supplied by UK themselves perhaps an email to UK would be more clear instead.I will send one now and see what I get.
Peruvemba explained that Uniglobe Kisco acts as a value-add distributor for QMC in Japan, providing services that include independent testing of QMC products for Kisco's customers.
This pepple is why we don't guess because many times we are wrong!!
If anyone here doesn't believe contracts and revenues are coming then I would say all discussion is probably mute as the company will have failed.I believe otherwise and it's why I hold and add on dips here.
Wait ! didnt Quantum send in the muscle to extract those quotes ? Surely they wouldn't have given those quotes without any pressure tactics.lol
Nice to hear a voice of reason on the subject. The people spoke and the company listened to their concerns. We have to trust in management to get us to the next step of contracts and revenues before up listing, until then the discussion of a reversal or what the reverse split will be is irrelevant.Let's see where the market takes us as product cycles usually need to be set in the first quarter to half of the year.A commercial film product in that time line and we could be rocking it.
Don't get it ..what is Jeddah ?
