Opportunities abound and no communication from management is what makes this stock such a problem... hovering around a penny because management hasn't been doing its job.
Do you think he even thinks about shareholders? Under a penny. Down nearly 95% over 5 years...
Keep emailing him!
Does anyone know anything more about FUNN'S potential partner in California? Anyone heard from management recently?
If anyone wants a good cry, look at the stock price over the past several years. We sit in the gutter around a penny and management doesn't appear to exist anymore...
Congrats... FUNN will miss your guidance.
Ridiculous what management has let this stock become... again I urge we all continue to contact Ben and ask he simply do what Rogen started to do.
Information... which is what they seem to be hiding.
I don't think Anias was hired to communicate with shareholders, shev was hired to communicate with the public. We need an IR person desperately... this has become sad, and potentially illegal. I'm afraid FUNN is going to get sued...
I've requested everyone keep reaching out to Ben and have not heard many positive responses back, so it sounds they've given up on even pretending they have shareholders. It's truly sad what happened here... I feel I got bamboozled by a company that dropped the ball entirely.
I hope everyone continues to email Ben@snakesandlattes.com and request he support shareholders. Simply ask that he do what Rogen started to do. If we all keep on him, he may finally get the message. What they're doing now (ignoring shareholders) can no longer be tolerated...
Try it! Any response is better than no response!
Keep emailing Ben. I've been respectful but have urged him to simply do what Rogen started to do...
What did they say?
Lol... we've been saying that for years.
Anyone hear back from Ben or other management?
Me too! It's ridiculous what has become of this stock... keep contacting Ben and request he support shareholders and focus on the public side of the company. He has to change his ways..
Do people here agree it's time to have an intervention with Ben? I mean real, honest, long term shareholders. He's indicated in the past he really doesn't know what to do as far as getting stock price up. I thinks he's even explicitly asked shareholders "what exactly he should be doing" :( . In any event, this stock has been a train wreck for several years now and I don't think us longs should sit around anymore.
If he simply did what Rogen started to do, we'd be light-years ahead of where we are now. We just need consistent, open, honest communication on all aspects of the company. Simply channel your inner Rogen! Also, begin quarterly conference calls with investors. Then once the communication piece is fixed with current shareholders, he can hire a IR person to tell the story to the market generally. These simple things would work wonders imo. That he doesn't do these things makes the company look terrible, like a typical stinky pinky. I mean what are they hiding, because it does seem like something?
In the end, this stock has performed atrociously for years now and it's time us longs do something. I was thinking a letter, or all email Ben at the same time?? Something needs to be done...
I don't think anyone knows what's going on with anything since they don't update us. Let us know if Ben responds to your email...
All I can say is I hope all true shareholders are contacting management and demanding they focus on getting stock price up. Be respectful of course, but theyre dereliction is off the charts at this point. Im afraid they're going to get sued or some other catastrophic event occurs which could sink us...
I probably would have agreed with you a few years ago. Give them time to improve communication, attract new investors, get share price up, etc... but at this point I think Ben needs to be pestered. His complete lack of engagement with shareholders is an embarrassment, and probably illegal. Pestering him is the only way I can see that may get him to change his ways...
Getting stock price up now, not only helps shareholders but also helps the business. The risks of waiting to engage the market are too high at this point. One person with funds and some knowledge could easily take over this space... SnL is moving way too slow. The time to act is now if they truly want to be a major player, which is the only way i see investors here making any real money. Engage the market, focus on the public aspect of the company, get share price up, attract investors, nake this an exciting brand. open new locations. Right now we're invested in a stagnant mom n pop brand that unfortunately isn't going to make investors much money. I say keep pestering Ben until he gets a fire lit under him, or passes off duties to someone who will get this investment moving...
Does that mean you didn't follow up with him about the 2 month email? At least if we keep contacting him, there's a chance something may change...
I don't necessarily disagree but it may be more productive to contact him directly and somehow, someway make him realize his handling if the public aspect of the company is atrocious. Did you ever follow up with him about that "give him 2 months" email he sent in February?
Is there anything more family oriented than celebrating family and equality? In any event, it doesn't sound like we agree politically, but what we do agree on is that FUNN management must do much more to protect its shareholders. Ben emailed you in February requesting 2 months to show improvement in stock price... and where are we now? Simply unacceptable. I again urge all of us to email Ben and demand more...
I support them promoting pride month, but they also need to promote their own company. Why they don't is beyond me...
If this were a normal company, this development would be no big deal. However, because management has the trust of so few here, everything becomes major. Management has lost the trust of many shareholders, lost any momentum it once had, lost control of its messaging, and lost control of stock price. In short, the company appears lost...
Unfortunately it's been a steep decline the last 5 years. Please keep reaching out to management and demand more from them. They ignore shareholders to an illegal degree in my opinion....
Just over $300 traded yesterday. Just over $400 traded today... this has become the biggest joke going. If everyone isn't contacting management and demanding they do more to protect shareholders, then we're all up the creek. This is beyond sad... an actual company that makes millions, with almost no interest. What management is doing (or not doing) is illegal in my opinion...
He always kept things honest and respectful... happy memorial day!
Probably because the company puts almost zero effort into the handling of its public aspect. I again ask all shareholders to keep contacting the company to try and fix mistakes like this.
I think we need to accept the fact that current management does not know how to properly manage the public aspect of this company... its extremely frustrating, but true imo. Ben had a great idea with SnL and should be congratulated for that, but until they get a team on board that understands the equity markets, I unfortunately expect very little from this stock.
I've reached out to the company several times and politely urged them to do fairly basic things (update the Wikipedia page, communucate more, put an investment campaign together, etc) regarding the investment side, but nothing changes. I urge other shareholders to politely contact Ben and urge him to do more, but others dont seem to do that. At least that's my impression.
Unfortunately, until new management takes over the investment side here, I dont think we'll make any real money. Again so frustrating. I've been here over 5 years... just look at stock price over that time. It says it all. In the end you can't argue with the stock price. Others will make arguments that the company is making positive moves behind the scenes, but unless and until it's reflected in stock price, it's all for not. As investors, stock price is the only metric that matters....
Will you post the link for this? I was looking on AZ secretary of state website and couldn't find it...
To say the market doesn't trust this company implies the market knows about it in the first place. Since management does almost nothing to attract new investors, I respectfully disagree with you. IMO its not a lack of trust, but complete and utter lack of awareness. This is FUNNs fatal flaw imo...
Nice... now lets spread the news around to get more eyeballs :)
I again urge shareholders to reach out to management and politely urge them to focus on communication with investors and getting stock price up. If they here it enough, maybe just maybe it will sink in. They've completely lost control of their messaging and stock price is in the gutter as a result. SP was 5x higher five years ago today... that's simply unacceptable.
How many months ago did management acknowledge SP was a problem and request two months to fix it??
5 years ago today this stock was nearly 500% higher than it is today. Also the number of outstanding shares was lower... I'll repeat, 5 years ago the stock price was 5x higher and dilution was lower. Neglect of investors?
How many new shareholders do we have today vs 5 years ago? Probably fewer. Neglect of the investing world?
And this should be considered a reopening stock (post covid). Again, neglect?
We still dont have basic investment materials made to tell SnLs story and excite investors... videos, testimonials, etc. Heck even basic things like they're Wikipedia page is out of date. Neglect?
I used to be such a champion of this company but my confidence has crumbled by managements utter neglect of its shareholders and the investment world generally. Its sad bc I do believe the concept is a good one...
Is this company profitable yet? Unfortunately probably not... otherwise I believe management would be attempting to get investors excited, not ignoring them.
7 posts and $47 traded today. This is not OK...
I respectfully disagree. A public company has a legal obligation to communicate with investors and not ignore stock price. I've actually never been part of a company where shareholders actively praise management for doing so, while SP remains in the gutter... but live long enough and you'll see everything I guess :)
Nothing to back it up? They have a great concept and 9 locations... is that the argument now? They shouldn't attempt to get new investors bc they can't back it up? With all due respect, now im really confused. I'm frustrated with the company because they do have a great story and can back it, but don't...
