xir-v: It looks like I'm stepping into the same situation. My Mother-in-law 2B is very "fiesty" but we get along great. I collect 78rpm records, most people run when I take them out but now I'll have a captive audience!
As for Inca, I agree with you. It baffles my mind as well. Thanks for your diligence.
Thank you xir-v. If I may speak for everyone else, we appreciate your time, effort and information.
Good luck to you with your Father. The wonderful woman I'm about to marry cares for her 92 year old Mother. They are blessed to have children like both of you and you are equally blessed to still have them. Peace.
Stacey/Evan - Just because we're not posting, doesn't mean we're out of your hair.
Indeed, MY Empress...
FWIW, I'm a huge "Flash Gordon" fan (1930's serial). "Ming the Merciless" was always my favorite, hence "Ming" as my moniker.
Thanks for the congrats OWG. It's a shame this investment didn't work out, I was hoping for a nice start to my new beginning.
I'm still not throwing the towel in quite yet.
I'm "investing" my time and energies into the legalities of what just transpired.
WELL. Thanks for the SEC call and update steinmans. We don't have much else to do but...wait, I suppose.
I apologize for my little tantrum last week everyone. I'm usually a calm, somewhat even tempered individual.
I guess it finally caught up with me. Hey, this 57 year old's getting married in a little over two months, there's been a lot on my mind other than IDGI. ;)
:) Thanks, to be honest I freaked out when I saw what I wrote! I was at work and on a tear, not paying attention to what I typed.
I guess it took a while longer than everyone else to #@^%&*$!!!
I've calmed down a little - but not much!
HA, correction "THOSE" and "OCCURRING" I was busy and not proofing, I was also having a small tirade. -
Gimme a break Mr. Perfect, geez!
You're correct and they're playing the odds that we'll roll over and take it up the you know what and limp away crying.
It takes money to sue and there isn't a guarantee you'll ever see a penny after the lawyers split it up.
My question was this: How can the SEC allow this type of theft to occur?
But it's a shame we are be forced to go that route. The SEC should be there to prevent tose things from occuring.
Yes, I understand that. However...
My question was - what prevents ANY company from simply not filing, getting delisted, revoking all shares, then walking away with a viable company built on the backs of the shareholders?
Sounds like a win/win for any small company needing start up cash. They should be forced into liquidation and monies dispersed to shareholders.
I wouldn't be half as upset if only Inca had declared bankruptcy and ceased to exist!
Are there no checks and balances? Guess not.
Again I ask, what prevents ANY publically traded company from doing this same thing and walking away with a viable business, free of shareholders and any incumbancies?
Is it they're betting no legal action will ensue?
Yeah, you're right OWG. I feel better now - NOT!
I still don't understand what prevents any public company from doing exactly what they did.
DARN, twice in one week I've agreed with Matt.
OMG, I've gone to the dark side!
...just joking Matt, but you're correct in asking about legal action. I find it incomprehensible that they can simply steal everyone’s money and walk away scott free with a very viable company. They didn't even have the decency to declare bankruptcy first then resurrect Inca Design.
Matt, for the first time - EVER, I agree with you.
Don't let that go to your head! ;)
There's always "criminal conversation".
Thanks everyone - this youthful 57 year old still has a lot of life left in him! I'm thinking 2013 is going to be one LUCKY year...
Viva INCA!
'morning all - OWG, how's OWW doing? Tell her to check in once in a while :)
Things are really starting to take shape, just picked up 245K more yesterday. Got engaged Friday, survived 12/12/12.
Damn the Mayans, FULL STEAM AHEAD!
Haters? I didn't see any hate posts - Oh wait, I have them on ignore! Except the ones with CONSTRUCTIVE criticism.
Well stated Uranium. My parents told me the same thing. If I were a new investor, after reading what is written here - I'D RUN!
A few bad, disgruntled apples here (on my ignore list btw).
It's an "investment" not a get rich quick scheme.
May I be the first to wish everyone a good morning.
A GOOD MORNING indeed!
Gary - thanks for everything, keep it coming.
Persevere everyone!
Thank you Gary - for everything...
I'm in your corner, those in agreement may I offer this advice:
USE THE IGNORE OPTION IHUB OFFERS!
That's what it's there for.
Oh yes, we do have lots of whiners here...oh, wait you said "WINNER" - nevermind :)
YES, I agree!
Good morning John Boy!
Absolutely. Especially with all the naysayers we have on this board. Persevere!
I'd like to second that OWG. Gary you rock!
Ummm, a dollar would certainly buy my respect.
...heck, a tenth of that would!
(hot penguin - that's .10)
Upsie Daisie. Now hold for a green weekend!
...or go higher ;)
Does make one happier doesn't it? I avoided checking in for a long time until I was shown where the ignore button was! I don't mind constructive opinions but the continued bashing and redundant posts got to be a bit much.
A much better board now.
Thanks for setting the record straight investorcg.
Now, will everyone please close the books on this public/private matter?
.001 Got them long ago and haven't sold a single share. Even when it hit .02. Of course if I had known then....
No concerns here however, no worries at all!
Nice find pristine. Hard to believe we're under a penny isn't it? Go figure.
Exactly, couldn't have said it better myself -
Keep posting OWL! You rock!
p.s. please put some beer in the barn for OWG
THANKS!
Excellent find Gary - and yes, I'm still here, and no, I haven't sold one tiny share.
Just been a very complicated couple years.
I hope I'm on that list :) - haven't sold one share since I've been in, only accumulated.
Sorry I don't post much anymore but it's been a busy year dealing with the dissolving of a 31 year marriage. I hope she'll be happy with her new boyfriend. BTW, I got my trading account - My IDGI shares are in good hands!
Hey Matt, good post.
NC Outer Banks? I just moved to NC from New Orleans.
Where ya located, I'd love to buy you a beer! :)
Persevere everyone. Things are not as bleak as they seem. June's right around the corner. Happier times ahead.
You will. YOU WILL!
As Dan used to say, and I paraphrase:
To da beaches of da world!
