If it is a public hearing, can Investor Relations comment on the facts of the hearing? This would keep us from having to wait on the filing.
Couldn't help myself. :)
Rcmshane, I hear that you short penny stocks. Have you had Success with that?
Was ABC on the list of words that appear to be live? I didn't see it on there.
Dang Brewski, even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then. As much as I hate to say it, you found a nut. That post put into words the way I have been thinking for quite some time now. What is NEOM going to do or communicate to explain this past problem and explain where we are going... and when are they going to do it.
Disclaimer:
Everyone else, please don't read this post as supporting Brewski's way of communicating his concerns or his general negativity. This was a momentary lapse in judgement to a post that struck a nerve.
Is Scanbuy a US based company? I thougth they were based in France.
#2 may be the answer. Cornell may give it a break because they know that the if the share price climbs just a little during that time, it will more than offset any interest loss. Once it is back up, they can sell more.
However, #1 makes a lot of since also.
I must say that post is a little disheartening.eom
It is crazy isn't it. The company has approx. 100 million in revenue and you compare that with how much money clearwire sold for and it is CRAZY.
If I am not mistaken, approx. $14million buys a controlling interest in this company. Anybody want to pool shares together and find out how much more money we need to buy a majority stake? Surely we can scrape together $14 million between this board and the yahoo board. Any takers?
Looks like they sold them for 12.2 cents.
OT: Sounds interesting Doc, keep us up to date on when it will be listed.
Thanks javman.eom
Thanks, anymore specifics you can share? If not, I understand.
Javman, you didn't happen to ask them about the Ipoint shares did you?
Thanks Javman. eom
How many patents does Gavitec have?
Good point Brew. I had forgotten about how that was worded. Using that information, NEOM could issue all 5 billion common shares and then issue out 5 billion shares of preferred. Theoretically.
Bingo Humbleinvestor. Now what if that silent Venture group ended up in a position to take on more control due to a number of factors both planned and unplanned.
Maybe Gavitec and 12SNAP were approached by an outside group that combined with the shares owed plus the external influence shares, worked out a deal that required some changes to the board and management due to the potential levels of ownership.
Poison pill allows for the issuance of a total outstanding shares of 5 Billion. At 0.055 per share, 137.5 million buys a controlling stake in the company even if the poison pill is used. According to your numbers, still a bargain.
Hypothetically, how would a group of shareholders approach the company, say a group that currently controls about 51% and say they are going to merge their shares into one holding group and want a spot or spots on the board? Think this is happening now? Food for thought.
Approx $17 million buys a controlling interest in this company. Surely someone sees that as a bargain. Seems cheap. Google and Microsoft sneeze and lose that much money. If this gets much lower, a group of Ihubbers need to join shares and take over the board.
It can only go down about 6 more cents. We have moved much more than that in the past many times over. So calm down... only 6 cents more is all it can fall.
Can someone point me to where I can determine when the next shareholder meeting will be held?
Thanks.
Interesting how NEOM and MOBL share prices seem to converge. Poor MOBL is nearly as low as NEOM and Tobin hasn't dumped them yet.
I agree, they seem to have trouble doing things in a timely manner. They obviously did not have paperclick/Qode ready when it initially launched. If they did, they should have spent all their time and money on free campaigns to get it widely accepted. I think they realized it was going to be awhile before they were ready to go and looked to the aquisitions as a means of getting other revenue streams on board while the continued to work on perfecting Qode. This distracted them even further and the market advanced rapidly and now they find themselves out of money and everyone catching up rapidly. I still think they are well ahead of the pack, but that gap is closing rapidly. Find some financing, close out all the loose ends and get this product fully to market NOW. If you need to do more free campaigns for some big boys, thats fine, but that product better be 100% operational. And don't announce its ready if its not.
Personlizit: They should have been doing free campaigns for everybody BEFORE they ran out of money. The idea of doing campaigns for free is a great way to get this out. If you are the head of a company and there is a cool new technology in the hot mobile marketing arena that targets the young crowd, and you can advertise and try it out for free, wouldn't you jump at the opportunity. You bet you would. If it worked out, you would be a hero and if it didn't, no skin off your back, it was free. NEOM stands to gain what it needs most, and the customer gains too.
Kinda like a drug dealer. Get them hooked with the free stuff and they will find money anywhere they can to get more.
Please don't ban Banks occasional Humor posts.
NEOM is supposed to be handling the voting for the Super Girl in China. News Corp(Fox) runs American Idol. NEOM shows them what they can do... combine that with Myspace owned by News Corp.(where american idol chat surely flourishes) and bingo we have a winner.
Question: Would NEOM use keywords for voting, or have a 2d code associated with each singer? If they have a code, what would be the best place for them to display it. Correct me if I am wrong, but normal tube TV picture from a cell phone do not capture the 2d code... only LCD type screens, correct?
Humbleinvestor: What can you tell us about this Scanbuy site?
Didn't somebody say that the release of news on friday has increased. Lets see what we get today.
Question about Cornell voting power...
I understand Cornell can only hold up to 9%(correct me if I am wrong). However, don't they have many more potential voting shares due to preferred shares. Trying to determine if Cornell has as much control in the workings of this company if some people say they do.
Thanks Mickey.eom
I am having trouble finding a connection between Velti and Digital Rum. I spent some time looking tonight and couldn't find anything that described a relationship. I am not a DD hound like some of you guys and gals. Anybody got any insight?
Did Murphy discuss MOBL last week?eom
Do we know when the next shareholder meeting is going to be held?
Clawmann: Thanks for that post. I usually don't reply to certain individuals, but felt that one needed a reply. However, you stated what I was feeling. Thanks for saving me some time.
That article states they got an exclusive license for Qode in the UK. I would rather not offer an exclusive to anyone until major adoption occured.
Here is the link to the online version if someone wants to buy it. Not available yet, but estimated to be ready today.
