If you must use the Tiger comeback win at the Masters (and it was great) in comparison I will submit that Tiger is on the "back nine" of his career while IPIX is now just "making the turn"...if both were stocks I'd (and have) invest in IPIX.
Leo, stay away from the hot dog and beer at the halfway house and have a Protein drink and banana.
:))
Thanks Pete for all your hard work...most of us appreciate it..looks like they will let just about anyone be a moderator on here...
Well Snaye it's actually the middle of April...is your glass half full or half empty?
:))
We rarely hear much on Mondays ...
I agree Pete that we should hear some good news regarding the meeting last week and very close to a deal with BP...2-3 companies come to mind...does sound like you need a glass of wine or stronger after Tigers win. :)) Breaks happen to all players both good and bad ( a little like life) but it’s what one does with them...I doubt that you believe Divine Intervention played a part...all the best to us longs...9-10 years for me...I’m so “red” I have a sun burn! GLTA
Augusta National is indeed a Sanctuary and should be on every golfers bucket list..non-golfers would be amazed as well...also like going back in time...no advertising on the grounds and sandwiches are 1.50...beer 2 bucks..Tiger winning is great for the sport...let’s have our own great week ahead!
Thanks for sharing and a good read for all...nice to see some real science come to the board like it use to..hopefully a sign of the future...
Thanks Kelt...
She is correct...including...Johnson & Johnson; Pfizer; Gilead; Bristo-Myers; Bayer; Eli Lilly; Bayer; GSK and Amgen..pretty interesting IMO.
Mark
Thanks for sharing Wild 4...good stuff...
It's been along time coming for sure...the Bio investor who wrote that article (a few years ago) regarding the 10 years it takes was spot on...
I like the slow run (can you "run" slow?) we're on right now.
Mark
I must’ve missed a meeting on what was the failure at higher doses in the P trial...I also was of the belief that at the lower dosage it was equal to Otezla but was safer and faster acting...it seems it should have some value even if it needs reforming? Maybe down the road...
Never the less, I find this news of Dr.Bertolino's commitment a positive...
Absolutely and it looks like without additional compensation...a valuable and experienced board member...Dr. B would’ve moved on if he felt the company was going nowhere...I will add while IPIX is under 2 bucks... gl to all the longs and patients ( present and future)...Mark
You know what they say about opinions...
I don’t get the worry over 5 pennies to a couple bucks...unless one is a day trader or flipper...IPIX has multiple compounds all with numerous indications...no trial failures to date...that’s why we all do our DD over the past months and years...entering under 5 bucks is a steel...IMO of course...7 years long here and patient (obviously).
Good article (CNN ) out today on elephants and why they develop cancer far less than humans even though they have trillions of more cells than we do... They have more copies of P53 than humans...
One year closer to shooting your age! Pretty good present as well today...for all of us...it’s only the beginning :)
I like your dream TD but when I dream it is usually involving a total buy out at 63.00, plus I dream in color...Green!
:))
For the most part I agree with you guys regarding buy out...but IMO you are not accounting for all indications (5-6?) and approximately 1 bil a year for all and the then how many years as far as negotiating between a company and IPIX to value this sale price...then figure close to 6 dollars/share per Billion (based on O/S)...
I wont complete the "math" as it will distract me on the first tee today but...it's not 7 dollars a share.. :)
All IMO of course...enjoy your weekend IPIX'ers...
ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!!
Tick Tick Tick...
Wont be long now....
Personally, I've always felt that Brilacidin as an Antibiotic could work against Sepsis...
Nice peek (small) into IPIX future today and shouldn't be long now...we will be rewarded for out patience and better news for current and future patients.
Fun times...March Madness, The Masters and breakout for IPIX.
GLTA
Mark
Sorry for your loss Karen...
oh pls ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
Almost feel sorry for the “shorties”......almost.
Good. Direct. News. Exciting times for those paying attention. Much needed relief for cancer patients.
Selling my Macgregor Byron Nelson persimmon driver to buy more shares today! naw... maybe my Johnny Miller.
:))
I fully agree Taas, I find it highly disrespectful....reminds me of the kind of name (or nickname) calling that our current President uses.
#Alertthedaycarestaff.
I loved, like most of us, the PR and Blog today and reminds me of how far IPIX has come and what is coming...
Congrats to all the True Longs..
Good luck Wild...
Glad to see you posting again and hope all is well in Texas, as can be...hard to read most of these posts/posters but it will all change soon enough...Trial news and presentation in New York Friday...
Go IPIX
Go Texas
Go Florida
Lets all keep perspective...
Yes Mike he is very entertaining and has some "trump" in him...hopefully the company presents great news/data Friday or by the end of the quarter...a lot of these folks will go away and soon I hope...I am very comfortable in investing in IPIX for 5 years now...I'm more concerned with Irma. GLTA
Sox, great finds as always...an added footnote to the Allergan buyout of Vitae...Vitae stock went up 157% on 28 million shares that afternoon when average shares per day was 227,000.
A similar fate awaits IPIX when one (or all) of it's compounds is bought or a partnership is announced.
Have a fun and safe weekend all.
Thanks BK, any investor doing DD needs to read posts of yours, Karens (and SA articles), Sox, Biohedge, 58nout, Matagorgaville and a few others...and Hound provides good links to news and trials.
Mark
Stay safe there in Texas...
Go IPIX
I am sure Sox or D-UP will respond but the easy answer is that while CDA's are signed and in motion it doesn't mean its for every drug/indication not to mention no deals have been finalized...why not present at the conference and keep getting the word out as well as the science..competition from multiple Pharmas is a good thing, obviously.
I agree Pete as my Father passed with Sepsis after a stay in a hospital and rehab facility with a broken hip...I would've have signed off on the use of Brilacidin instead of Vanco...the FDA's red tape and cautiousness is costing lives...the hospitals should also be under better scrutiny and standards...MRSA is everywhere, at least here in the Florida hospitals.
Thanks BK...Ill be very surprised if a partnership isn't announced by the end of this year for B-OM and Prurisol..and a complete buy out in 2018...all is good and time will tell as usual..
Where are you these days?
Mark
Thanks Karen...quarter ends in 2 weeks from today...in Biotech I don't hold CEO's to deadlines...especially when trials are double blinded...
ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ... .40 or .80??....you could (can) buy IPIX at 9.80 and receive unbelievable ROI...IMO
2 weeks left in the quarter and 4th quarter will be interesting as well...
Mark
Very concise and accurate Doc and even the naysayers or "short" group can understand though that won't stop them...we All appreciate your posts and insights and we all (most) will have steak and eggs for breakfast with a mimosa one day soon.. :) thank you...mark
obviously the son is grateful and will hold this "gift" if its true...Leo wouldn't gift his son or family shares if he didn't believe positive news is near...man this gets old...sounds like a buy sign to me...
Probably a tax move as well...as Aaron Rodgers might say "RELAX"...
I happen to agree here with Pete and Biodoc...the companies entering a CDA are getting more information than we are and sooner...and if a deal is immanent then they may request (demand) a delay in public news (PR's) to avoid a "bidding war"...certainly cant say this is why we haven't heard much from Innovation in the last few weeks but cant be discounted....
IMO
Mark
