Totally agree with you. That is why I feel Viva is targeting the Hispanic population. Lots of competition for everyone else, but the content they offer will allow them to dominate in that demographic, so we should be able to capture a much higher overall percentage. If we attract a large percentage of non-Hispanics, all that much better.
I’m no financial wizard but the debt in that filing is less than I thought it would be. Launch should happen soon and then monthly income will chew away at that debt very quickly. I think it’s a gradual move up from here until someone in need of this service buys us out

I’m pissed I can’t buy more. Called Fidelity this morning and practically begged the rep to allow me to place an order with him for more shares, but no, he claimed that purchases are locked out because of delay in filing, even accounting for the hurricane.

I have posted Numerous times regarding the importance of soccer. If this is going to be an international offering which is certainly appears to be, it has to provide extensive support for the most popular sport in the world. It has to include FS1, FS2, and NBCSN, or at least they need to release a statement regarding their intent to negotiate this content.

Acampors...good point about difference between channel broadcast and movie streaming. I bet you are correct. Have to wonder if the movies (a la FlixFling) will also be stream by FlixFling just through the Viva interface. Hard to imagine how awesome that kind of service would be over the Triad internet
My apologies for having asked this question before, but I wonder how the streaming service will be affected by increased number of subs. Does viva have the hardware capabilities to handle a large increase in subs without decreasing quality.

4steadyb...my wife is as southern as can be and I love the phrases she uses as part of her regular conversation. She likes Viva but she’s “as right as white on rice” when she says it will go nowhere without the premium channels restored!
Lol...if you’re from the south you should know that the phrase is “in high cotton”. Still the same though I think thinks are about to ignite. Wish they would get the premium channels fixed, it’s been a long time
I’m with you on that. I’m not going to be forced to subscribe to that service. Plenty of Trekies have I’m sure but at least there’s 2 of us that didn’t cave.
Just to ventilate for a second… I have always been a diehard Star Trek fan. When the new Discovery series came out I was excited to have a new show to watch. First episode was aired on regular CBS. After that the series disappeared and is only available on CBS Streaming which costs $5.99 a month with commercials and $9.99 a month commercial free. Are you kidding me? They force you to buy a subscription just to watch a show that should be available on regular CBS broadcast TV. Unbelievable. It’s not like this is a Netflix original series or something. I guess this is what it has come to. They are going to force you to pay up for popular TV shows. Really sucks.

Based on some DD that acampors found, I really think that the movie offering will actually be FlixFling content just delivered through the Viva interface.
That sounds about right. Needs to be price competitive with FlixFling which I think is 5.99 a month
Finally...we needed this. And the interface looks great. I have to say that when Viva finally does release it really does look good. Wonder how much the movies and DVR will cost in addition to the monthly subscription fees.
I’m 8.5M long but getting frustrated with lack of movement. Time to get some of these issues fixed and rolled out

IMO anyone badmouthing this stock must not be a subscriber. Anyone watching TV on a mobile device using Viva can see the unbelievable potential of this product. Subscriber #345.
Can’t believe people are complaining about JF and JS attending an Hispanic TV summit where they are presenting the Viva TV concept. You’ve got to be kidding me, what better way to get the message out to the target audience. The more I participate in OTC message boards, the more I realize there are some real jerks out there. Thank goodness there is an “ignore” button!
Great DD acampors. Fits with the promise of 10,000 titles as well. As you noted I’m sure the work going on with Viva right now has to do with the interface not necessarily “loading” the content. Couple all of that content with cloud DVR and On Demand special broadcasts and Viva will fly

Good to know. One of my sons has a PS4 and has talked about Vue, several of his friends have it. But he is using one of my Viva licenses and likes it better so far.
Just curious. What did you not like about PS Vue?

Gave up one of my device licenses to my 22yo son last night who installed the Viva app on his iPad Pro. He couldn’t believe the quality of the image and sound. The interface is very fast and the rotation to full screen was beautiful. He can’t wait to show all of his friends. This is the real deal.

Totally agree. I’m pretty much maxed out on my shares, with a little reserve to buy more if we get a temporary post 10Q drop. But I am dutifully paying my monthly $34.95 and loving my service. I anticipate many 10s of thousands will be doing the same before much longer
