Thanks for the info and the clarification, clearly I did not read thoroughly enough. If your inclination about the tell is true, .....well I sure hope you're right.
Come on, that's just too much. Keep your material less extreme if you wish to be believed.
JWW has been reminding us of the book value for well over a year extending back far into the pre-COOP WMIH days. The general retail market has not appeared to be swayed by that data, and I have seen similar in other stocks and even in cryptocurrencies.
It was never a whine, it was a balancing mechanism. When people talk up things to a great degree despite a record of failure regarding the topic subject, balance is needed. Just as when people talk down the topic subject claiming significantly less value than is evident. The views on this board are polarized to an unhealthy extent, each side going too extreme to counter the other. It's childish and primitive.
I'd love it to but $16.92 is really high from this morning's starting point of $15. I don't think you'll have to make that decision today
I had thought you were just a disappointed stock holder like myself until just now with this text of yours. But now I see you're just a bas#er which I deduce by the fact that we finally have some good news and pps rise and you're still calling COOP a "pos". You made your motive clear. Please bother a different board.
I just skimmed but looks like it was a tiny bank ...and not many branches, ...and was failing btw. Please tell me I'm wrong
AZ, thanks for your response and no disrespect meant. And it does seem you're here to help. I didn't at all intend to diminish your contributions or intended contributions. Clearly I provide none but psychological retrospection, which may be useless.
I only meant that the huge holy grail items (when, how much, and payment in what forms) have proven slippery for everyone including yourself. It seems that things that should be occuring at every step are not, always for an explicable and procedural reason, but nevertheless involving unending delays that even the brightest minds didn't see coming. And its been YEARS of that. Top that with language that less than half the readers even understand... you get it.
I guess if you were an early inventor who visualized the light bulb and explained it to audiences prior to attempting development, you would naturally come across anger and doubt from onlookers as you trued filament after filament without success so far. It will only be when the bulb is lit that we will all see the genius, and until then to the unscientifically educated, you could be a genius or just a madman with a big vocabulary.
Why bother asking him further details about something that may not happen? He knows I respect his intelligence, but I'm sure he also is aware history has made me be doubtful of any ponderance that is positive in nature concerning these matters, not to mention he knows I'm aware that many his previous historical expectations have not gone as he believed they would.
I'm torn in regards to him. He lacks bitterness and anger that people usually develop when attacked or questioned, in my experience that is a sign of clear thinking and confidence. But then nothing goes to his expectations, so whats up? Based on his general demeanor I have a hard time thinking he's intentionally bs-ing us. I also believe his understanding of financial matters is true and strong. Nevertheless, there has not yet been an event that he can point to and say, "Look, clearly you can see I was right all along".
My coping strategy is to not get my hopes up too high, but obviously I check in every day almost, so I guess I've got some mental issues lol.
Maybe, but even your gif is angry.... I have to take input with a grain of salt when it appears influenced by any emotion, negative OR positive.
A dividend announcement....hmmm, interestingly. Thanks for your thoughts.
Hello AZ, could you please explain this portion of your post-
"I just don’t believe everyone is actually serious regarding a ROI’, any longer ... not here’ or elsewhere (BP) anyway’ ... "
We have all invested, we have not seen great returns via the stock pps or escrows, but we are all invested just the same anyway. What difference does it make (ie, what do you mean by) if any individual is "serious regarding a roi"? Afterall there is no particular effort any of us can do to change the ultimate outcome. Generally if one says they are serious about making a profit that simply means they are putting hard work and good planning into effect- we can do neither to change the end result..
Sorry, lost.
Based on history, your post seems entirely likely.
The potential- sure. But the "potential" has been here for so long already. I remember back before the R/S, JWW kept reminding us the implied value was way higher than the actual price. He reminded us of that for over a year and yet the market never cared. Then the RS happened and we went further south. I have a Hank Aaron baseball card in my closet theoretically worth about $1000, but I brought it to a shop one time and they wouldnt give me $200 for it. The years have taught me not to get excited about the implied value of a stock.
I wish I strongly believed that you're 11 points were wrong, but I am not so insane that I can simply forget the pattern of the last 10 years.
Well either this is the most massive financial conspiracy in US history as is sometimes supposed here, or...... it is a lot smaller and more inconsequential than we'd hoped ...and there's just no real rush to close it.
Isnt he 80 by now?
Hello Tacoma, in all seriousness... yes this is all annoying and stupid and seems like these delays should have been avoidable. There are so many and for such random reasons, it's starting to look fishy to me...
Great thoughts and questions
Respectfully, you have been reading positive stuff in WMIH/COOP charts for as long as I've been reading your posts and yet its never worked out that way. Its actually fascinating psychologically speaking how consistently you remain optimistic moment to moment despite nearly constant failure of your chart visions coming to fruition. Whatever happy supplement you are taking, please let me know where to buy it!
It's Nov 1. My etrade account shows no $40M to shareholders. Also it appears COOP has erased yesterday's gain.
I guess predictable is comfortable at least.
Have a great day everyone!
I could handle $20B
I imagine today will be similar volume as yesterday.
Welcome to November folks! I wonder if/when we will get our $4 per P share.
I would be. That would be below my hourly pay rate.
I figured out a few years ago that if:
1. You first counted all my hours thus far reading this board, and...
2. Multiplied that by my working hourly rate- had I spent those hours working I would have made..
3. $...ok, long story and lots of math. But I need ten bill min!
See message 544925
Thanks for answering. Its been a long road.
Please let me know if I'm mistaken (because I can always go back through the posts and find out), were you not advocating for WMIH message board posters to sell their UQ's and buy PQ's prior to 2012?...
Back then several "informed" posters were theorizing that P holders would get the lion's share of the spoils in the end, and I thought I remember you were one of those, correct?
By panicking I take it you mean arming.
Well if all that is coming back (at least initially) is 100 million dollars, and we only get 40 million of that, I don't think there's anything they'll need to try to hide because the general public will not care about small figures such as these imo
YEAH $4 per PQ share!! I'm still going to buy the cheap champagne, but this time I'm going to pick up TWO bottles!
OK, joking aside, if money actually gets distributed to us, it would be the first time and over 1,000 individual predictions that a prediction of money distribution finding its way in our hands actually came true. I think that's a decent bases for doubt if anybody has any. I am neutral.
The 4:00p. price will be $14.06, which is still a gain, thus the first time we're green two days in a row.
Today is so far the best day ever in the life of COOP! We are up a whopping 3% and no one is talking about it. Fascinating...
ONE PENNY UP!!!
After years of being let down people are cautious about getting excited I imagine. And sadly we have yet another example today of why that caution is founded
I guess we have an answer to that question now. COOP $13.71
His message wasn't addressed to you, and its not a popularity contest.
I see the DOW has to go up 1.5% for COOP buyers to have the courage to let it rise .5%. Weak enthusiasm
AZ, You've been saying this for years, literally. Remember "no more obstacles"?
I think you're extremely intelligent and I genuinely appreciate all of your input, but respectfully, the confidence you show is now unfounded.
As you said...
