It's amazing that nobody can draw the line from XXII to Big T.
Blinders on
Smells like a caution flag to me
My gut is saying DOWN
To quote Joe P on the Bherzog call after he stopped her mid sentence...
"It's a development license. The research is done"
Joe throws a couple hints out in that interview that still hold water today.
Another one was "with the MSA we can be bought out". I may not be quoting this one exactly correct but you get the idea.
Why tisk tisk? People need options so they can make the best decisions based on their needs and wants.
I need govt to make me aware of dangers so I can make informed decisions.
I don't need a faceless entity forcing me to do or not do anything.
Vapors will lead big T into the MJ space. I don't know how anyone can debate that vapors aren't a better option over cigs.
There is a study out that shows vapors helped smokers using VLN cigs to keep using them and stay away from conventional ciga
God (my ween) bless America. When someone can buy 50k shares and make $50k in 2 weeks......
I've been buying.
Wake me when the "check" happens
Dip prob won't be long. We will find out!
At this point I am guessing along with everyone else.
I just highly doubt that the master plan had XXII in it very long. Surely it's not to carry it out to the finish line.
Xxii will be a profit center for someone IMO.
Def profit taking this morning. Green afternoon.
I have to wonder how low big tobacco would be willing to let xxii price get down to.
At this market cap it makes xxii out of range for the smaller players to BO.
I went off on a tangent and forgot why i replied in the first place.
Thanks for that explanation. Sounds very logical.
And this is why Etrade, and now BluMartini and Robinhood exists.
We are all really throwing darts in this game. 2008 proved that.
I'll risk my money myself and hit the button rather than someone else hit the button and take any chunk. Soon Etrade will have to go to super low trade fees. They just lowered to $5. Free trading has opened up the world for millennials to invest. I say the world...Or maybe cliffs. Lol
25% you're saying!? That makes me want to throw up.
Calling flat close IMO. 2.98 - 3.02 is my guess. Masters should want to close this green tho IMO.
Lol I really think this is a leftover HTFBS alias
They aren't on the list anymore apparently. Never looked at the list but that's the word.
They have touted being able to do it non GMO since 2014 from what I remember.
I'm sure they could do it in a GM fashion. Xxii has a competitive advantage. Not a monopoly. Perhaps the public will be okay with GMO VLN tobacco?
Bravo -- agreed
I'm about to take off on this plane but believe Tom James said XXII could manipulate NNN levels on the last CC. I tried to ask the question but they ended the call before I could. Anyone has the transcript handy and could post Tom James response that would be niaaacce
I want to know what XXII can do for the eventual NNN ban on moist tobacco.
I just learned that UST doesn't do fire cured moist which will have the highest NNN levels.
If XXII can manipulate Nornicotine (alkaloid) I think they can affect the NNN levels.
Agreed
It's hard to have an in depth significant discussion when one is limited to 140 characters. However I think the folks who aren't on ST are missing out on a nice gauge of market sentiment, a gauge on the stocks popularity/people entering positions, and speed of news. The xxii ST board is peppered with people posting relevant links.
If BAT doesn't act by Oct 1 the Share price will tank on Oct 2 until Henry PRs a Phillip Morris deal.
The author fails to realize that Vuse was last to the market and is now the #1 ecig.
I'm not sure if Vuse has it, but apparently Reynolds has some IP where the device learns and adapts to how you draw as you use it.
In a couple previous articles BAT said that Reynolds had some strong IP in the vapor world. I think that was the IP they were referring to.
I'll give him one -- he did call MJ tech months before it happened.
Other than that...
Air balls
Interesting choice of words there splotty. Are you saying he preys on "story stocks"?
"Story stocks"... Now where have I heard that term used before...
Ha
40m vs 90m share count.
Just like graphic warning labels right?
Lol.
Hey I win any which way it turns really. I'm content.
I say months but realistically I think it's years. Big T can't take anything to court because there aren't any mandate or rules in place yet. I think Big T won't fight for the option of providing VLN, but I think they will fight a mandate behind closed doors over the next months/year.
Protecting people from themselves is a terrible idea for the sheer fact that you can't and people will do what they want for their vice.
I'm gonna go watch the movie "Lawless" now. Ho hum
It will be interesting to see over the months if Big T tries taking anything to court and fighting it. I'd like to think the PM CEO wasn't just blowing smoke (vapor) in that recent article.
I don't see them mandating nicotine levels for a while. I do see them allowing a Brand A or X22 soon.
Plenty of legit reasons not to mandate nicotine levels in Cig's. Plenty of reasons to allow current and possible future smokers the OPTION of trying a VLN or cessation product.
Either way... Mandate or not. In my eyes XXII wins.
ST has a lot of use. ST is an asset and provides an advantage. The savvy can see it.
FYI if anyone would like to join a better XXII communication tool with only real educated longs let me know.
Sorry nobody that has proven multiple aliases allowed.
Lol. But wait. Didn't you say tobacco companies would never do a VLN. Do you prefer sandals it FLIP FLOPS?
That would probably hurt PM stock eh? That's probably a dewnt
I respect your interpretation of the BAT deal and do know it wasn't a good deal. I'll have to go back and read it again. I'll tread lightly for now as I haven't read it in a while and I don't have your background ;)
XXII can be bought out by anyone. The license transfers.
Personally I think PM will buy them.
Most recent CC
- Are you guys working with any other tobacco companies?"
-- We cant disclose that
Aka yes.
We are more like 4-5 years out IMO from any kind of nicotine level mandate.
However I think it's very likely a Brand A or X22 nod comes much more soon.
We are now 8 years into the FSPA. I don't buy the 2-3 year timeline for mandate of nicotine levels. You would see more in the industry scrambling. 8 years into FSPA, 2 years to get the deeming rules out, they are so swamped with SE and PMTAs they can't keep their head above water. Now they add the nicotine talks in. Talk about biting off more than you can chew.
