Ummm that's Canaccord clients buying. Not the investment bank. I'm a Canaccord client. So when I tell my broker to buy WEED, it'll show up as a Canaccord trade.
Believe it or not Canaccord isn't some capital market cabal manipulating the markets like you are suggesting.
I'm a small cap kinda guy so don't quote me, but I understand that WEED won't be in the S&P "basket" until Monday. So index investors won't be investing in the weed basket until then.
Kinda a weird sarcastic comment. What are your thoughts on current forecast. Not much buying in light of S&P
Haha nice
Well I guess I'm out on both fronts
Hahaha
Haha, awesome you make good points. You should visit Smiths falls. I bet you could get hired with your substantial knowledge in Cannabis. They are hiring about 15 people right now.
Thanks keep me updated. In Hershey they have tried growing extremely large plants this cycle in one of the grow rooms. They are an inch from the hvac.
I know nothing about growing techniques but perhaps they want to grow bigger for certain strains? Is this possibly what they wanted to do in 1 long cycle in Tweed Farms?
I don't remember the strain that it was, my memory could be jogged if I looked through the online store.
Btw, the vault was pretty full and there was a lot of construction to free up more grow rooms. A good use of space.
The new extractor will soon be coming online. This thing was a monster.
Frankly I was so impressed and doe eyed that I had a hard time computing what I was seeing.
Sup man, the boys down at mdrm still skimming?
Thanks. I wonder why Vic said one a year. Odd
Ask Yoda, she pulled over on a country road near Tweed farms with binoculars and gave the facility an ocular pat down.
Actually in the podcast, Vic mentioned that the only other Canadian region that would be comparable to leamington would be Fraser Valley in B.C.
So you are correct it seems
Plenty of grapes being grown in niagara with that cool breeze coming off the lake. Wine country ain't Cannabis country.
You can make good wine in leamington and niagara. Too bad you can't say the same for Cannabis eh Graspy!
I think he's saying that leamimgton "summer" is 4 months longer along with much better grow techniques.
I think it's half way through. It's worth listening to it all. A lot of good info pertinent to entire industry.
Did you hear Vic neufeld latest interview? It's worth hearing. He takes a shot at Canopy. One that stuck out was that tweed farms can only grow 1 crop per year? Is that true?

It was a joke dude
I was told a couple weeks ago it's launching "soon"
I didn't really push on when as it doesn't concern me. My ladies are always wet.
I've recently liquidated my entire position from last years private placement. I'm slowly re-entering but I'm a bit nervous about this Remo nutrients business.
I'm waiting on an answer from John Fowler as to why he felt it necessary to use his buddy remo's nutes which weren't already HC approved.
It's disconcerting that he would gamble 3 grow cycles with an unproven nutrient when he could've just as easily used a cheaper run of the mill HC approved nutrient.
If HC finds Remo's nutrient to be unsatisfactory to their standards then 7 acres will need to incinerate the entire vault and the share price will be cut in half.
Yes, remos blend will probably be approved. But I don't like the CEO gambling on a probability.
How easy would it be to grow their test crops with approved nutrients and concurrently get approval for Remos nutes for future grows.
Tweed gonna be approved to sell gel caps any day. Gonna be a nice new revenue stream.
I smell an opportunity. I'm just gonna grow copious amounts of pot and sell it to whatever kid wants it. Seems like we'll see an untapped market upon rec.
If Walmart can sell cases of soda pop to these fat little shyts why can't I sell pot to them? I'd be doing them a favour, really.
At the same time I'll educate them not to gorge in pop and chips and that'll buy my way into heaven. It'll be like I'm saving their lives.
I'll be a hero, kinda.
Weird that you associate me with some evil force. Don't hate the player, hate the game. Here's something that may be more your cup of tea. WEED is da BOOOOMB!! To da MOOON!!!
Don't let my trades stress you out.
Never scared. Just short it and make money. Easy peezy lemon squeezy
Lolol sorry but Canopy inherited this lawsuit and will need to deal with it. Tomorrow will be painful. Did I mention the Mettrum acquisition was terrible? Here's to watching my money melt away on tomorrow's open. Yummy.
I think building a facility in Germany would constitute as material information and thus, be disseminated to share holders. I seen a headline that Germany has approved production to start in 2019? Is this correct? 2 years of exporting could be very lucrative. Although ACMPR supply issues may put a damper on that
I seen nothing on SEDI from Bruce. Yesterday I seen nothing on Canadian Insider from any WEED insiders.
Ya I seen that BNN link. Very cool. From my home town. They don't seem to be interested in Rec
Yes that's right. I imagine Green Relief has the current record
I don't know that an LP has taken this long for a sales licence. Anybody tracking past timelines?
Got it thanks
Does anybody know if veteran affairs Canada (VAC) is covering Cannabis oil or is it just dry bud from LPs?
I know they cover 3 grams of dry bud per day @ $8/gram. But will they cover the equivalent in oil?
Big time tax implications if trading arbitrage from non registered. it was great if you were invested/trading via registered account.
Besides, the days of profiting from this arbitrage are gone. I dumped all MT for CGC yesterday when spread was closed. Pointless to buy MT now. Just delist that pig
Ya next leg up would be welcome
Bullish close. Anomalous volume in the last hour. Could be a good sign
Big pharma and corrections. The lobby strength of those is why. US is more corrupt than Afghanistan.
Don't you see the hypocrisy of it all?
How can we ingest this shyt every day of our lives and HC gives a big thumbs up to vegetable farmers, yet pot farmers they give rules that make no sense.
Why am I allowed to ingest these chemicals on my tomatoes but not Cannabis oil?
As I said, I can stomach that these tight regs are strictly due to this being medical pot... if they continue to have these hypocritical rules with Rec regulation then why would anyone mess with getting licenses. I'm sure there will be Plenty of ways to grow black market and slip it in the licit market.
I guess we can blame the LPs who dont follow the silly rules.
Is it airing on CBC's firsthand tonight?
It's getting a bit ridiculous. HC is a joke. All our store bought vegetables are peppered with nasty chemicals far worse than what LPs are using on their pot.
Just more proof that HC is ran by an archaic cabal of conservative fools
Each day that goes by in this industry makes me more and more annoyed by the ACMPR.
Why would anyone want to get tangled up in starting an LP. Just a nightmare. Black market is the way to go for entrepreneurs. They can grow at a fraction of the price without rediculous micro management from HC and there will always be a market for cheap pot.
Really leaves a poor taste in my mouth at the prospects of Rec to be quite honest.
Perhaps they'll loosen the screws for Rec LPs seeing as how it won't be clsssified as medicine. We'll see.
I think you mean "pep" rally.
