Will be interesting - does she protect green energy of minority rights ? I am afraid Judge Du is going to have an irresolvable moral conflict on her hands
Yes indeed !! Momma hasn't opened that kitchen for awhile . I am riding teeter totter - not certain when I want to get off. Will probably set moving limit day by day.
All dependent on Rx numbers and any insights into Healthnet resolution
Teeter totter flying off its hinges ! I stayed in - question is where will the new equilibrium be or will there be a steady creep upwards . Will all be dependent on rx numbers which will reveal Healthnet agreement RX numbers good should continue to creep - Rx numbers bad then back on teeter totter
Yes its not Healthnet alone . The crux of the matter is will the Healthnet case be utilized to move other insurers - that's the whole game here .
If it can be utilized as a tool to make other insurers quit substitution then it is of immense value. if it cannot then its useless.
Since the settlement is closed the way for us to tell is to simply examine if generic rx's drop off in the next several months. If they do then the case had value . If they dont then AMRN's worth $1 and I keep short term buy /sell . If AMRN cannot move insurers quickly and they do one a year the patents will run out before they generate any sort of value . Thus Rx numbers in the next several months are going to be a key predictor of company and therefore stock value
Iwanderer I stayed on teeter totter - will continue to ride until I see a new peak - will advance sell limit each day until it sells ! Then try to determine new baseline .
Right now I think best strategy is to simply watch script #'s over the next two months. If healthnet agreement is worth anything Rx numbers should increase significantly . If they are are not then agreement is useless or AMRN is displaying its usual incompetency.
UNregulated supplements are a multibillion dollar snake oil industry. If its edible you can say anything you want. The FDA years ago should have required double blinded studies for any supplement touting health care benefits .
People watch old movies with the huckster selling Doc Woodie's snake oil 99% alcohol and wonder how people could have been so gullible, Well snake is being sold way way more today and people are MORE gullible
There was that Vet?MD on the radio DOc Wolnyk (?) he would tell everyone who called no matter what the disease to stop caffeinated products and take the pig pack - it was hilarious but people bought into it . He would tell people dogs dont get CAD - and if they took the pig pack they wouldn't either but not once did he ever mention that dogs don't live long enough to get CAD
Problem is who will take responsibility? Ie. who can be sued ? Patients often say why dont you just send in the amoxicillin for my sore throat . Here's why - 9999/10,000 you send in the amox and things work out . BUt here's an actual case from residency . Guy called and wanted amox for his sore throat. FIrst year called it in. Guy died that night from epiglottitis .
Having said that you are correct there should be home tests ( we have them in the office now ) to check for strep, flu a flu b rsv and covid
Iwanderer teeter totter approaching $1.30 Not certain of the direction. I feel after Helathnet that there is going to be a new equilibrium established. May sell half keep half
Then we should have marjac file a writ of habeas corpus in the federal courts to show that their federal constitutional rights were violated. ie the right to a FAIR trial ... lol
Perhap Healthnet agreed to throw HIKMA under the bus in the sealed agreement .
I guess that begs the question then are not insurers practicing medicine without a license ?
MOSt likely generics thought as I did .
#1 killer above 40 worldwide
FIrst new proven intervention beyond statins
almost no side effects
BLOCKBUSTER !!! It will take off by itself !
Indeed a fascinating study on how practitioners obtain unbiased information on how to practice their art. This should actually be rather alarming to those of us who believe in the free exchange of information to seek truth
Of course if you are using it for CAD reduction your insurance has substituted a non FDA medication that may actually worsen your disease process.
YOUr insurance company IS PRACTICING medicine without a license and gets away with it taking NO RESPONSIBILITY for THEIR decisions.
The disaster of stocks is due to the US economic war with CHina. Having depleted them of IC chips, CHina the worlds major producer cannot produce - so the whole world has entered an economic slump. CHina is about 5 years behind the US in IC production. THis is a huge hurdle with IC chips They will ramp up and try to produce their own but that will take some time. The US is depriving them of IC chips to prevent them from advancing their military including AI . However, many of these chips are used in all sorts of consumer goods especially in the IOT ( INternet of things ie your car phone etc)
IN the meantime US / Europe and the rest of the free world are trying to ramp up the production of consumer goods while bringing places like INdia on board to use their massive population to produce what China is not. THis of course will all take time.
ALthough not a fan of Biden he has struck CHina a severe blow with this move it was a much harder move that what Trump had done .
but the issue remains, is AMRN going to sue every insurer ? AMRN's patents will expire by the time they finish that
Let me know if that message is on their next month - will be a subtle way of telling if AMRN is truly castrated or not
Patient just in husband said insurer told them to get generic vascepa and they would save a ton of money hilarious
Thats it ! AMRN is dead in the water . Glad I did not invest anything based on HealthNet (other than not getting off the teeter totter this time around). If the settlement is confidential then AMRN cant use it to leverage other insurers ( unless otherwise specified - unlikely) - in other words its useless
AMRN has said to the world you can walk over us and we cant do a thing about it.
Sue them for every penny MARJAC
Wondering if a discussion with them would be of any benefit to all parties - they certainly could use your knowledge and expertise and they have contacted many shareholders outside of the small group on IHUB
Marjac
Are you aware that attorney Juan Carlos Sanchez from Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd
is currently working on a case against AMRN .
THis same firm sued TEVA
Partner Paul Geller describes to Law360 how finalizing the global settlement with Teva and Allergan that will bring $6 billion to communities impacted by the opioid crises could never have succeeded without the “diligence of our team, experienced defense counsel, and nimble mediators.”
Teva finalized a global deal worth up to $4.25 billion and Allergan inked a $2.37 billion settlement to end allegations by states and local governments that the pharmaceutical giants had fueled the opioid crisis by downplaying the risks of addiction
Marjac you are amazing and I give you credit for not giving up on this. I only wish you could include THero in this.
To play an untutored devils' advocate Won't the courts just say - three judges found no credibility to the fraud argument and therefore the attorneys cannot not be found guilty for not presenting evidence that was not found to be "true" ?
If Denner can double his money in 3 years he will take it. Denner has no concerns for long Amrnanites . His only concern an AN INVESTOR is to have a good return on investments . Doubling his money in three years is fantastic. SO if he bought at $4 he will have no problem selling out at $8.
0/2 is zero . Thero the hero sent us to zero
Now thats funny !
Exactly, but there is no sense in marketing now because you are just selling for generics. The key will be Healthnet. If that throws insurers off the generics then AMRN can start marketing. WHether they are capable of doing that successfully is a whole other issue
Dont worry AMRN is going to get Greenland !
Well being AMRN you are correct they may have tried to run their system without these positions and have just come to the realization that they need them ....lol
IN reality some are new some are old
LOL too funny
Lot of staff jumping ship before it sinks ...lol

I have said this many times. If AMRN had their act together they would have ran a statin intolerant arm in REDUCE it - If it revealed benefit they could have competed directly with statins - 14 billion dollar market
Fascinating ...and think about all the people that were on this board pumping while it fell fell fell - the savants who knew everything and then just like that they disappeared - now having moved onto other boards to play the same game - yet the clueless continued to buy their hype
Just AMRN
Its called Ralphey's teeter totter ...
Here's the difficulty . If you draw down retirement account before RMDS become mandatory you might be able to shelter some money by being taxed at a lower rate. However, if you pass your IRA's onto your children they will be taxed at their rate which may be less than yours and ultimately less is paid in taxes.
Iwanderer ... I Should sell as teeter totter hit $1.30 but I am not this time as I think HN will give a temporary boost.
My plumber gets $105 per hour . Lawyer $350
I find this fascinating PDude. Were you working when you did this?
Here's why I ask . It cost me about $450 per hour to run my office. I need to see 5 patients per hour to make a go of it. If I spent an hour and a half with one patient I would have to get $675 just to break even. Of course no patient or insurance company would pay that.
Bought at $1:12 usually would sell at $1:30 but I think the HN case has more upside then downside value. If they lose HN what changes ?
NOthing, everyone is already infringing so no change . If they win HN that consolidates their market massively, then the only question becomes AMRN's ability to execute, which of course is highly questionable .
I suspect agreement will be HN admits no wrongdoing but agrees to no longer substitute generics when Vascepa ordered for CAD indications.
BUt now back to the same quagmire .
How do we know Rx is for CAD? DOcs aren't going to write that.
AMRN will not be able to solve those issues. Other insurers will conveniently ignore them
Are they then going after each insurer ? That will take 20 years especially if HN admits no wrong doing
So a blip if HN settlement is favorable ff by a decline as AMRN'S incompetence wastes the opportunity
Indeed a tragedy that such basics have to be explained to a company who supposedly understand their industry. No worries I am certain they are on top of this ....
Iwanderer ... teeeter totter approaching $1:30 again don't think I will sell this time around - will see what HN case does ...and of course GREENLAND (58,000 people !!)
