I'm just long and all settled in my position on the Liquimetal bus.
I'm waiting for very exciting things further down the road. Fun to look out the window every once in a while,
... but wake me up when we get to Profitability.
I feel confidant in the driver and road conditions.
The weather is a little iffy. But, hey, we have an expert behind the wheel.
Good night.
We know what happened there, thanks
Thank you. Looking good!
Thanks for so much, Games
You may be right. Things get choppy sometimes.
It will be interesting to here what people do with that.
I'm sitting tight.
Too bad.
I see it on Amazon for $78 plus.
That's available again?!
Interesting.
I want one.
Thanks, and to you and your friends across the pond.
The practical nature of AR is obvious to reasonable people at this point.
It seems, with good reason, that more confidence is placed on the companies with very large pocketbooks to bring AR (and VR) to successful implementation than a small company like Vuzix.
The encouraging thing to me is that Vuzix has what some of these big guys can use to be successful themselves with the hardware. Timothy Harned's appointment to the BOD with his expertise in Mergers and Acquisitions indicates some possibilities are being assessed.
The potential of AR is undeniable. VUZI is an exciting company for me, however, there is the possibility that it goes the way of Sinclair in the early days of personal computing. I also remember Apple in those days. Microsoft on the software end was more successful immediately way back then.
We are undeniably watching something of tremendous proportions unfolding. Vuzix is part of it, but not the whole story.
This is very exciting! Thanks L1!
Thank you for posting the article, L1.
Great insight, SCCL. Thank you for posting.
Thanks L1!
Agreed.
But here, and from the company...
It's quiet...
Nice video. Interesting how quiet things have become recently.
It makes it easier to hear things rumbling from far off. Can you hear anything from Germany?
Generation of electricity is as clean as people are determined to make it.
I think that Volvo is right.
To turn a generator, as I think you are referring to, all that needs to happen is to turn a generator. The ways of turning a generator are limited only by the human imagination.
I live in the Pacific Northwest. We have tides ripping through the Puget Sound constantly, rivers, wind, etc... power all over the place.
The problem is with storage of the electricity for an even grid with the huge fluctuations that occur, and transmission to where the electricity is needed, and to the storage in our vehicles.
Power plants do NOT need to be dirty.
Until the problems with electric storage in vehicles is solved hybrid electric will continue.
Will WPRT be part of that?
It looks like AR is moving from niche and awareness on a peripheral level to early cutting edge for enterprise use.
The big companies involved in AR are beginning to show their hands. This indicates that the technologies surrounding AR are about to explode. No more pussy footing around.
VUZI IP is very valuable to what will be the competition of Apple, for instance. For this reason I believe that we are quietly preparing to be acquired by a larger company.
I am fine with that happening.
The incorporation of AR in the Apple universe is going to be huge. Developers for the enterprise space are currently where my hopes are.
I am mildly disappointed in the consumer developers' focus on the diversion from reality toward "whiz bang", self gratifying, disorienting, hallucinatory, escapist endeavors.
The potential of AR is the same as if was for the early printed books and the perceptions and power of those.
There will be the equivalent of book burnings again, however, the possibilities are staggering! AR will facilitate learning on a whole new level!
I am excited to continue being a part of the unfolding of something as huge as the AR revolution. It has been fun to experience the approach, and there is so far to go!
Right on. Aloha, Skull.
When there are a lot of people posting here, I tend not to.
I'm happy with the way things are progressing and have pretty much said what I felt I needed to say over time.
Also, folks with the best information on this board seem to be uncomfortable with my posts and I am very happy to be quiet.
I am here many times each day, however, I am not trading, but do accumulate at times when I believe that the share price will rise significantly.
Same ol', same ol'...
Right on, Spartan!
Exactly, nice post.
I am also thankful for this board. The information, ideas and sentiment are all very important for making decisions, although I am not planning to sell any of my shares for s long time.
Yes! Exciting times.
I like that!
I am an opportunist, on occasion.
However, I am a unicorn who likes to play it safe.
What I have I will hold. There are too many other things to do.
Sigh..., it is true that we all have differing views about owning a piece of a company with vast potential.
The risk and reward are both tremendous. For some of us limited trading in order to own a large number of shares at a zero cost average is appealing.
There is no further risk to the initial investment.
Everything could fall apart and we will not have lost. There is also no reason to sell (except for greed) as the company matures and grows.
I am not interested in trading LQMT. I am interested in its success.
I have traded on the edges. That has worked for me.
...Hey, but to each his own.
You are not boring, Josh. You are, perhaps, the master of this house.
That is funny!
I guess what is said on iHub can echo elsewhere.
That sounds good, Josh.
The LQMT future looks very exciting.
There are more invested and quietly on the MVIS board than you may think.
Nice job, Andy. That's not easy, but that's how it works.
Absolutely. Thanks, DMN.
Wow!
If my wife didn't know what I had in LQMT I would not be able to sleep at night either!
Best to be on the adventure together,...
unless one has the encouragement to go it alone.
Thanks for the report, L1!
Most of the major concerns that I have had with investing in LQMT are being addressed by Li. That is encouraging.
The fact that Li is the largest investor in LQMT, confidently and firmly in control, and operating in his area of expertise is very exciting to me. This gives me some confidence that he will be thoughtful in the handling of the large share count, (another of my concerns).
We have been saying this for many years now, "we are at the beginning of something very big".
I firmly believe that.
This is going to happen. The regulations will go to the lawmakers.
Navigation applications, when done well, will make driving (for instance) safer. The key is in the "done well".
Regulation limiting use while behind the wheel is also a no brained.
There is no going back on AR in the enterprise.
AR for the consumer is going to take,... "adjustment".
Thank you, Josh.
Exciting times we are in.
Wow!
Very cool!
Very nice!
Nice article. Thank you!
