In Eco's case, what 10% less of nothing?
Interesting that you have been challenged on everything you say, except one thing, and that is your suggestion that Conboy is getting kickbacks. You can even quote their SEC filings and people on the blog challenge you. But suggest Conboy is getting kickbacks, and there's silence.
Still waiting on the PR about what kicked in Monday.........
You are suggesting Eco's ESR is a phoney and I shouldn't reference it? Are you saying the Depot contract Eco filed with SEC is phony and I shouldn't reference it?
Who said that? It is not in my post.
There is more than one site listed, but NJ is not among them. The list is in the ESR I posted the link to.
BTW, this is not what I was alluding to yesterday. It gets WAY deeper beyond this. On that issue, I'd like to see Conboy come clean for once. Maybe a new YouTube video. Shareholder letter, PR, 8-K, whatever, but it's a significant development. Far more significant than the check for $10K he snookered the Canadians out of.
I'm amazed I haven't started getting the hate mail, yet. They know what's up, and aren't going to be happy I found out. A couple guys on this blog must be on vacation this week.
Here's one to digest slowly.
First note in the product information section near the beginning that ICC-ES ESR 3255 is listed as the product certification.
http://secfilings.nasdaq.com/filingFrameset.asp?FileName=0001127855-14-000058%2Etxt&FilePath=%5C2014%5C02%5C13%5C&CoName=ECO+BUILDING+PRODUCTS%2C+INC%2E&FormType=8-K&RcvdDate=2%2F13%2F2014&pdf=
Then go to Eco ESR-3255 posted on ICC-ES website. Nowhere does it mention the NJ facility as being authorized or even recognized within the ESR. That wood carries no credentials of any sort.
http://www.icc-es.org/Reports/pdf_files/ESR-3255.pdf
Eco can't ship Depot contract-compliant wood out of the NJ facility, according to Eco's own ESR. It was just renewed this month, so this is reality TODAY.
Investors hosed. Depot hosed. Consumers hosed. They shouldn't hide behind the great flipping story, because folks are getting ripped off to make this scam possible.
Steve's probably in the Eco java hut right now typing it up on his IBM Selectric. 'Read this back to me Mark so I can be sure I am saving more lives.'
Would have a much higher entertainment value if Convoy comes down from high in the mountains with another stone tablet and shows us the credential news. If for no other reason, it will be the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
It's not me. Conboy has left you in the dark for 30 days. He can clear this right up, and right now.
Speaking of product standards, it's about time for Eco to put out a PR or 8-K about the change in their product credentials yesterday. Eco has certainly quick on the draw with all the good news. They should be advised by their wise leadership team to get out ahead of the story before somebody like me posts it. Monday was Day 30 of 30. That's enough info for one of the blog insiders to know what I'm talking about. As we hear, call Steve and you'll get all your questions answered. Operators are standing by!
Maybe Eco just rents wood.
Far from the whole problem. Maybe one of the insiders here can give us a count on how many truckloads Depot recently sent back to the Eco NJ facility for re-coating? I heard 10. Is that about right? If that is a good ballpark number, then they really are busy, but busy re-coating and at Eco's expense. Great business model!!
Mesothelioma? You need some new information. Asbestos was eliminated in construction long before Prop 65. Long gone before Greenguard.
Most vendors don't bother with Greenguard certification because most vendors don't have issues. It's an old issue for the intended environment, but survives because the hype generates a lot of money, through programs like Greenguard. Borate (in Eco Red Shield) is probably in your toothpaste, but you probably use it anyway w/o the Greenguard certification on the tube.
It's like saying there is no mercury in Eco (I guess there isn't). But since they don't have a certification for that, does that mean there's mercury in Eco Red Shield? I doubt it. But since they don't have a certificate for that, should we be concerned? Based on the logic of a Greenguard-type program, the answer is Yes. By your logic, until and independent agency says it is mercury-free, then it probably has mercury and will cause home occupants ill effects.
A minority of products have VOC 'issues' anymore. Whether you are aware or not, 100's of millions of people for generations have successfully lived in these toxic homes w/o ill effects. Most of this was created to help employ more consultants (think the Greenguard program), just like the Y2K scare. Having been in the middle of that as well, it was 99.99% hype, and a massive employment program for unemployed IT consultants. Hype.
No assets. So where are the millions.....and millions? Anybody seen them?
Thanks for confirming that it has nothing to do with fire, rot, termites, etc. In other words, it means Eco isn't making the wood any worse than it may already be, NOR ANY BETTER. Nada.
Maybe you can explain to us what Greenguard has to do with fire, mold, rot, decay, and termites????
Looking at the listed assets of the company in the filings, it's noteworthy that a couple years and 10's of $millions later, there are essentially no assets to speak of. Where did all the money go? It ain't in the 50 YouTube home movies for sure. Where is the money? Somebody has it.
As suggested to you by someone else, it's really hard to see the point in calling Eco for answers to any questions. The people that answer the phone are the same people that write the PR's. The PR's have proven to be unreliable, so why reach out to an unreliable source for corroboration?
What happened to your 3 Province story?
According to the 8K, that's actually in reference to where the 3 spraying garages will be located.
I partially disagree. Conboy has shown extreme talent in some areas. Just this week he sold literally Nothing to some Canadians for $1.5M. THAT took some talent. Easy to sell a coating of nothing to a singe homeowner, but shaking down some grown-ups for $1.5M ain't always easy to do. Of course, I think there is a LOT more to this story, and certainly the Steelhead folks are in a great position to walk away from the obligation by dissolving their Eco Canada company. There is really no obligation beyond the non-refundable $10K that they already posted.
But think about the other implications of what Conboy has confessed to in this selling of all Eco Red rights in Canada to these guys for a mere $1.5M. Canada's codes are very friendly to FR coatings, which is why there are so many coaters in Canada today. So, why sell the whole thing for just $1.5M? Shouldn't it be worth billions? Has Steve admitted that there is no real future for this product, so he's just selling out? If you want to see the World's most creative wood construction, go to Canada. Canada is queuing up to be the wood high-rise capital of the World, if they aren't already (ignoring the 10-story structure in England). $1.5M for ALL of that? Steve just sold the biggest existing market for his product for $1.5M. Talented? I say yes, because the difference between $0 and $1.5M is huge. Even the difference between $0 and $10K is considerable. He actually turned a profit of $10K upfront by providing nothing in return. For the rest, the odds are a lot like the lottery, which is probably where he ought to spend the $10K.
Part of the 'fire plan' for the WTC, and is typical for large/tall buildings, included a fire retardant coating over the steel members. The goal of the coating is to insulate the steel for as long as possible. Unprotected steel is bad news in a fire. Prior to the attack, they were already having problems with the coating peeling off, so there was a retro-fit in progress. The final report also noted that the impact of the plane most likely knocked a lot of the coating off. Unprotected steel never stood a chance once such large volumes of jet fuel were involved, and the same is probably true of the 'protected' steel. Steel is a very poor performer in a fire.
I'm just guessing, but if a similar jet plunged into a house painted with Eco Red, it's unlikely you would find any trace of the house afterwards. We've been told it's impervious to floods, fire, hurricanes, tornadoes, armadillos and everything else, but not a large airplane....yet. Next PR.......
Typo. Fearless Freep is the correct answer.
You are correct: Fearless Freed
May be, but what do you call it when a CEO of a publicly traded company knowingly puts out PR's with false information in them?
Arrr, I can't believe I missed that one! Touche'
Ah, third wheel makes perfect sense. Eco CEO can't balance a bike any better than he can the books. Live Free, Dye Red.
Well, we're not talking about a company known to sweat details regarding accuracy or truth in advertising. It's a classic Eco PR. A few will embrace it, while most will toss it after they see the source.
(Is that your sidehack in your picture?)
Also from the same firm that Eco has contracted:

I can see some synergy there for sure.
BR,
Bogart
We see how well Eco has done in the US with 'no competitors,' so it will be interesting to see how much better Eco does in Canada against Bluwood and Pinkwood. Also of note, the Canadians are known to pro-actively throw-out bogus products, unlike the US that tends to let things run their course to avoid speculative litigation on the front end. A good example of that is another spray-on called FlameDXX. They falsely claimed and advertised to have Calgary FD approval. Calgary shut FlameDXX's local 'plant' down in response. Not everybody is into laying games. Have a nice J-V!
Here's a tough one to figure out. Conboy maintains the affiliates are blowing the doors off trying to keep up with the orders from Home Depot (and the dozen piece on a cart certainly confirm that) but that has to make you wonder why selling one house here and building a model home there are such a big deal that they constitute a PR. If I'm stocking out a 100+ H-D's that are watching product "fly off the shelves" as we've been told, and building thousands of homes in Jamaica, Haiti, The Philippines, Africa and elsewhere, so why is one house in CA and another house in NJ even rating a big PR? These single-digit homes should be somewhere in the Ecob Corp books rounding errors. Is it big news because they might be giving it away, so they have to get a PR out of it?
And they would buy back existing shares by issuing and 'selling' more shares to raise the money to buy back those shares? I smell a PR working its way through Eco's digestive system.
Somebody missed out on being an Eco bazzillionare for $250.

Funny from List!
"BluWood Spray Coating Equipment For Mold-Proofing Lumber,"
Hey, thanks for the update. I guess they weren't able to get in on all the 1000's of houses being shipped to Haiti and Jamaica. That's too bad.
Same Steve, same MO.
Hey, what's up with Mid-State and Eco Building Products?
http://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/ecoblu-products-enters-into-product-application-agreement-with-mid-state-properties-114479039.html
I can't seem to find out anything current on this big deal between these two powerhouses in the building industry. Maybe somebody on the blog can provide some sort of update on how well this has been going.
Doesn't this cut into Bear's super-special deal in Augusta, GA?
Would be great if somebody from Eco could take all the 100 or so PR's and update the investors on the status of each of them. Seems like many are off in the weeds.
I'm still looking for these Eco product courses through AEC Daily and can't find them. I've asked the AEC Daily folks about them, and they don't know either. Maybe somebody on this blog can direct me to these AEC/Eco courses.

Or is this CEO of a publicly traded company putting out false PR's to influence stock prices? Is that legal?
