Nice graph, lets hope it keeps going in the same direction!
Nice jump, however reading the release, no timelines are given. And why is Klemp saying things like 'this positions us well for potential marketing' weird comment as THAT is likely years away. Makes it feel like he's pumping the stock, now why would he be doing that?
Right on, way better than the way it was heading. Almost feels like retail investors know something before the big boys and automated computer traders do.
Hmmm...crazy possibilities here.
Funny no pr this morning, thought it would be a material event to get an orphan drug designation.
Agreed Dennis, I think many of us retail investors have the same feeling...like our timing is off everytime. Long term likely a very successful company...
Very nice synopsis charley, Ive been in mbrx for over a year and not sold any shares because long term I see great things to come with their partnership with md anderson. They've kept dilution to a needs basis only for the most part. Dilution is to be expected with baby bios.
That said, I believe if a PR is released pre market Monday we'll see a brief pop and if they include target dates of 3rd party analysis etc we could see a gain that moves the base price a bit higher.
Ive been through too many pre market hour spikes that I didnt take advantage of...so this time if it pans out Ill be selling a few shares into strength and buyin back a bit lower..as its inevitable.
Actually saw it posted on another message board and didnt know what it meant for sure...so posted on ihub hoping someone would know exactly what it meant!
Hard to decipher but my take is, it was 'designated' as an orphan drug today, but not approved for the indication requested...that being treatment of glioblastoma. It obviously has to go through phase i ii iii trials before approval. The orphan drug designation should be a shorter quicker path to approval...a confirmation of evidence showing its potential!
Hopefully interpreting that correctly...cant wait for official press release to see how high we go!
Check this out...does this mean they recieved orphan drug status for 1066? Hope link pastes correctly...

That's what I'm hoping for, otherwise this is a really strange occurrence
What a strange occurrence...short squeeze after hours? 1.75 and still trading on a Friday? Sell into this or wait and hopefully news Monday morning????
FWIW, broke through downtrend line and also blew through the 50dma today...see if it holds tomorrow, if yes I'd say we are done with the correction lower.
And I smell a commercial agreement coming with the logistics center opening.
Hear ya loud and clear Hyper, guess it doesn't surprise me they put a little lipstick on the deal announcement...that's par for the course with this management team. As far as dilution goes, it was dilutive the second it was signed no matter how Jerald phrased it...
And I like the old saying...so true with just about any publicly traded company struggling to keep their stock from cratering.
That may just indicate they were really after the secured note with an option to convert the 15M at 13 something(over 30% premium to market). They really bought long term options with the security to convert if the stock price ever appreciates substantially. IMO it was still a pretty fair deal for us.
Not too long ago cyrx was raising money at a substantial discount to market PLUS straight up warrants. The bigger picture says we've turned a corner in the investment community.
Agreed, I honestly think the market is just waiting for some big announcement to break the through the trend line. I thought a few bla's were filed and approved but haven't seen any logistics contracts come through? Or were they just 'filed' with the fda?
We are still in 'the wedge', maybe we'll break through this time and start a new trend higher...strong resistance is at 9.80ish.
Anyone know when earnings come? I'm assuming end of year will be a month or so yet?
So maybe this has been discussed already, but what would it do the share price if NWBO did a buy back with say $5M of the cash they just acquired? They put the shares in the company 'treasury' as an asset. That could kick off a major short squeeze and bring some sanity to the share price?
This would be a major indication the company is confident in the results, would likely result in major buying interest, and they would have the shares in treasury to resell on the open market or to an institution at substantially higher prices after results.
Or is there some sort of black out period they can't do this right now?
Right on, if we get some good news I just hope the price increase sticks, just feels like any good news pops the share price for about 38 minutes and then crashes right back down. We need some big money to come in and support the stock...not all these day traders.
Yes, baby bio's dilute to fund trials, what's your point?
This one is a little hard to judge though, if they can keep dilution minimal until some trial results come back we could see massive upside, which in turn minimizes dilution in future cap raises. The market just needs to start appreciating what they have going one.
Are we anywhere near getting dropped from the russel?
Yeah I wouldn't look at Zack's dropping coverage as a negative statement toward future prospects. My thought is they aren't putting their name on the line when management won't provide any sort of guidance. Management can scream 'future is going to be huge' all they want, but little behind it and now gross margins take a step back again to add a small distribution center?
And another huge question mark in my mind is what are they planning for an acquisition??? I can't believe that any acquisition will be quickly turned into a positive to the bottom line. What can they integrate to their system that will quickly grow revenues/profits? The 2-8 degree has had little success to date, maybe we should get into cold food transport monitoring???
Funny, for some reason I thought the trial in Poland was already started, now we hear they are just starting it today??? Guess we continue to wait...
Anyone notice the extra trades after hours today? Seems really unusual for us...
Anyone following the bla filings of our customers? Any guesses on commercial contracts?
Looks like a fund manager just wanted a prettier picture for the year end.
Was going to comment earlier too but didnt want to jinx it! Maybe tax loss selling is over??? Either way Happy New Year to everyone!!!
Yeah I did too when I saw your link...so had to look into it. Happy New Year to you too!
That's just the SEC filing for the $25M deal with Petrichor.
Yeah maybe on some bad news, however nobody other than someone manipulating the price dumps $450,000 of stock at market right when market opens unless they're manipulating the price. Or they had a MASSIVE margin call...am I missing something?
So who dumps 45k shares at open? Maybe a short attack?
It would appear to be a simple expansion of Huawei's empire. Not likely any connection to cyrx or nwbo. Maybe the reason we are getting beat up today?
Are you thinking cryoport gets integrated into this facility somehow? Or maybe nwbo has new information they havent released and cryoport will be a big part of it? I do hold some shares in nwbo as a gamble...it would be a grandslam if dcvax is approved one of these decades.
Im sure it all fits together somehow but my imagination isnt very good!
Yeah guess I cant either...looked at it 3 times but still misread it! Maybe I saw what I wanted to see...
Yup, misread on my part...
Nice to see a director exercise options at market price...vote of confidence!
Did you catch fhe big threat to cryoport in that article? They have all the equipment on site to manufacture the cells...no need to ship cells, patients just fly in, get treated and go on their way.
This is one my big concerns here, as the price of that equipment likely falls and becomes much more common...taking much of cyrx market.
Broke 'technical' support today...see what happens next week. My guess is the downtrend line will become strong resistance now until management figures out how to communicate.
What a slam today after bumping up against the downtrend line the last few days. We are still within the 'wedge' with little support for breakout...sure hope we get a Christmas surprise press release before we break the long term uptrend and head to a lower support area.
Looks a bit like the conf call backfired...sounded positive to me. However a hard lesson I've learned is, unless there is concrete positive news such as positive trial results, baby bios get hammered on news releases.
This conf call may have been perceived as a move of desperation/fluff. Or, maybe just maybe they used it as 'bait' to get Big Pharma to come take a look at'em?
