Did you read all the shareholders who owns 5% of the stock??? Are they still 5% shareholders and I counted 10.
Music to my ears:
"...and what you get is .44 - .88 per share. And that's just for 12 flagship stores in China..."
Only 12, I like the conservative approach on this. I read the # of stores they have a little differently but will error on the side of caution and not get my hopes up too high.
We have another week or so before Q1 is released, one way or another, something to look forward too.
I think they blocked outside ip access, rather than took down the site. Probably didn't take much to see the ips coming from N.A. hitting the website. If someone has a VPN and can mask their ip to a Chinese one, then they would probably be able to see the site. I think we got what we could out of the site anyways. There was no e-commerce portal via website, but a lot better confirmation about # of stores the could have.
Just took some of that profit we talked about and hit the ask for 10k shares, not much but every bit counts.
Nice! That's quite the portfolio to manage. I have learnt a lot of lessons the hard way over the years, but was always able to manage finding that one stock to keep me afloat. Thanks to the OTC madness, I was able to increase IBGR/DRYW position and give me and my wife a few extra pay checks. Now I can consider current holdings "free shares" and willing to wait and see what happens.
I have the day off too, had a wisdom tooth removed yesterday. Thankfully not much pain at all.
I'm only in one other stock, so far so good and plan to bring some of that money back here if all goes well.
haha, yeah that was the other .000 stock. For share structure comparison sake:
ALPP & SIRC were the two from .02/.03ish I watched run up to crazy pps.
Yup, that was one of them I was referring too. Crazy!?!
Thanks for the reply, greatly appreciated.
I have seen a few stocks from last year go from .02 -.03 to today $2.4 & $5.00(relatively the same share structure as IBGR/DRYW) and a few from .000X to .40 & .90
Patiently waiting our turn.
Question: I believe Red brought this up, is the Q1 due this month? If so, should we see Dryworld revenues from current activities, like from China?
Waiting for the ticker change isn't a fun game, but if that Q1 comes out with positive financials, I would hope that would put us at a higher pps before the ticker change does happen.
I wouldn't mind the extra pps boost as a little reward while we wait.
A coming soon on all their social platforms and allow the user to give an email address to get a notification when they do go live. That first email Dryworld sends out can easily have the ecommerce links.
They must have a reason, but you would think they would want to build the hype a little, at least on the consumer side of things.
This is either a tease or we are close..
Ticker change for "Nexus Real Estate Investment Trust Unit"
Not the Nexus we want. lol
Yeah, that was a nice buy at the end. Nice to go into the weekend on a green note.
did my 40 share buy do anything?? lol, sorry guys that's all I have left, commission cost more..lol
Compile the list of all the bdays, send to the company and ask Which Bday are you going to do a name change already, pick one...lol
lol there is always the lucky few on Feb 29th we can count on...haha
Well Tempy, you didn't get a name change for your bday, and it's not looking like I'll get a .28 pps on the 28th for my bday (prove me wrong universe..lol) But I'm glad we have another month of waiting over and we are that much closer to DRYW.
In a nut shell, Choi found Dryworld's Chinese website.

Re-read the DD you found in post 55617
I think when they said "...established nearly 100 specialty stores across the country." they meant it.. haha
I don't think it relates to market research info on new malls opening up but rather emphasizing their quick expansion in the country.
Looking at https://www.china-briefing.com/news/franchise-china-guide/ about halfway down, they would have had an established plan when entering the Chinese market. I would go as far to say they had most of those 50 stores lined up before launching.
One needs to consider how long it took form starting the process to enter the Chinese market to the time they launched in 2019. They established a headquarters & a partnership in 2018 officially enter the Chinese market. I would take a guess that they started the process in 2016-17 when they had sponsorship deals and had the funds to do so.
I don't think you can, at least I haven't seen it yet. Their stores that opening up are definitely franchises.
"Four new series of DRYWORLD are presented, creating scenes that span leisure, life, sports, and fashion. Integrate Chinese and world fashion trends into one, creating a cutting-edge brand with unique personality. Provide comprehensive service support for franchisees"
And
"To provide franchisees with comprehensive service support and "whole store output mode", store location, in-store products, in-store image, product display, operation process, logistics system, promotion model, new product style, publicity support, after-sales service... .One-stop support."
They would be reducing their franchisees profit potential.
New Products section takes a bit of time, this is all there is just text when hovering over the picture. I thought the Mexico part interesting.
The 6 sections read:
1) Fun Fitness Nationwide
2) Career Weekend
3) Mexico
4) Menswear
5) Holiday
6) Music Bo (the text is cut off, maybe its Music 'Body')..??
haha, brings back memories on the old dial up. That being said, we shouldn't all be loading the web page. China will see all these IP address coming from north America and thing dryworld is a spy...
lol
Found the answer to my QR code that leads to install WeChat:
"During the opening period, DRYWORLD gave back to consumers with full sincerity and enthusiasm! The activities are powerful and interactive. You can learn more about the brand by following the official WeChat account"
Holy shit..haha. I'm copying/pasting in google translate.
Haha, that's where, hopefully, one of their PRs would clear things up on what they currently have and of course future plans.
NICE. The 100 stores would line up with the expected 200. Due to covid openings were most likely delayed and only 100 were opened so far. I like the diversification too, Dryworld Fitting.
A nice Intro PR would to explain their current global operations. Someone or firm reading they have X amount of stores and all their product lines would be more confident to invest.
Nice, I see now too. The fact they are working on it is nice to see.
That amended Annual Report looks a lot different compared to the first two submissions. Without having the others to compare with, there is no mention of the DryWorld merger at the end of the report. Looks to be a different format too, could be the reason for the whole Stop/Yield sign shenanigans.
I'll take this as a good sign and not ponder on it.
I don't have PM, but I'm on the East coast.
oh I wasn't counting the holidays, but did miss MLK (I'm in Canada, sorry eh). I'm going to just stop counting and hang tight. Thanks for your feedback with FINRA, puts the timeline in better perspective.
Ahhhhggg so if I recount, we are 1/2 way there sigh. I like your prediction but will have to take this day by day, well not today, it's Federal Friday...lol
Not counting Dec 10th (PR announcement) and Dec 24th, today is the 28th business day.
It would be nice to get a symbol & name change before eom. At very least I hope most of the waiting is over. Like Tempy, getting a little antsy and would like the January birthday gift..haha
4 Ticker changes on FINRA so far, we can still get the .28+ by the 28th.
So hopefully all is good with the amended filing and the stop sign comes down tomorrow? It would be a nice follow up to have the ticker change posted tomorrow as well. ;)
Was it due to the Annual Report being filed after hours Friday?? Either way a yield sign is usually first, right?
Lol, probably...
Your welcome Choi, QR code is a little odd to me, but at least that ph# lead to some nice info.
I'm just wondering why the QR code would want me to download the app. Is there a social media aspect that dryworld has set up? I can try to take a clearer picture and someone else can scan the code.
Found this when googling the phone # on the tag '0595-88008385'
"In 2018, Dryworld officially established the (Asia-Pacific) brand management company headquarters in Hong Kong, and joined forces with Fujian Hafele Sporting Goods Co., Ltd. to officially enter the Chinese market. Phone: 13788807356"
