A buyout at the right price, GIA is all well and dandy...but if this rockets up to $25 and BP offers $50+ with CVR, why not take it? Too many unknowns for GIA many years out, and yea I believe we have the golden goose....but I don’t trust the rest of the markets for the next few years to make this stock price glidepath get to $75+....

With the price around $16, and a multitude of key dates coming....I’d like to panel most of you on how you feel right now. Are you buying more in this range ($14-16), holding steady, or selling or hedging your position?

I’m quite bullish, and have added between $14-$15 recently. I do expect to be north of $24 after a successful adcom and labeling.

Market getting ugly, but kind of shocked we dipped back into the $13’s again. Picking up more shares at this level.

Stock has been boiling up lately. I bought shares to hedge my AMRN position in case there study results are for real. Anyone have any good insight into this? Not sure why its being hyped so much, and some company (acuitas group) just bought 10% of their outstanding stock for a dha/epa pill. Oppy initiated coverage with a $7 target.

Imagine AMRN raised funds to buy this? lol Anyway interested in hearing your guys thoughts.

Regardless, I trust in the management team so will just deal with it. I will up my position size by 10%-15% over the next week to keep up. Especially if get back to the 17’s....

Perfectly well said KCSVEN. I’m an investment adviser and have knowledge of the IB side as I have friends in the business, and this is basically what goes on behind the scenes. I still believe a BO will occur around a $40 PPS, anyone’s guess on CVR value (hopefully $10 to get us to that lovely $50 PPS).

If price tanks in the short term may scoop up 2020 call options.

Big win today

I was in the camp that i strongly believed a priority review would take place. Happy to see it come to pass, and happy to see the share price march higher towards $20 where it should be.

Updating my thoughts on BO vs GIA. Although I think the GIA route will net us the highest share price and profits in the long-term, potentially $80-$100 area.....I still believe the company will sell itself. We have the golden goose and BP wants these eggs. I think before year end we are taken out close to $50 share price with a minimum $10 CVR. Enjoy the ride folks, know what you own

Had a first time visit to my cardiologist today. Standard ekg and echocardiogram (becoming a middle aged italian male who loves salt way too much apparently). So health is relatively decent.

I asked him about Vascepa. He knew all about the story and the “amazing outcome study”. He said he used to try prescribe it often but the insurance companies were not helpful and made it expensive for patients. He says with the new study he expects that all to change, and that he sees this as the new.standard of care...”similar to what statins did in the past”. Knew about the AHA presentation, and the ADA recommendation too. He said “i told my wife to buy us shares, but I heard it went up a lot”. I told him “the best is yet to come!”

Did my part for the day...

I woke up in such a crappy mood with my toddler not falling asleep until 2am, and also injuring my intercostal muscle somehow. But boy oh boy did AMRN put a smile on my face today. Canada priority review is HUGE news. Best is yet to come friends

This board is turning into the old yahoo one...spats galore. Buyout or no buyout, the future looks bright and the science is there to back it. Excited to see what comes. Not sure how much higher we can go in the short-term with a value of about $7.5 billion currently, but I will be here to enjoy the ride.

This is probably one of the best articles lately on the sheer potential of global sales. Hard to refute the numbers. I think some of the international numbers are slightly exaggerated, even so, I forsee peak sales north of $5B, give that a safe multiple of 5-7, stock price is $75-$105 in the future.

What a horrible week for the equity market, but another positive week for AMRN.

I am upping my price targets based on how well it held up, as well as the way management is framing the AHA
As a come one come all spectacle. I think we will be be at $23-$24 by the friday before. Monday morning it opens up $28-$30. Sincerely believe before year end we will hear of buyout offers pushing this north of $40. My guess is this gets taken out at $60-$70....top dollar is $80, but the market has to hold up for us to hit $80 or higher.

Excited for the road ahead. We hit $65-$80, buying my dream home. It will still leave me with a few thousand shares in my IRA if no buyout :)

I do remember Kay and Kol. The early days of AMRN arguments. Arguing with Adam Feurstein. We have been in this foxhole for over 7 years, I just feel we are nearing the end. Have been in AMRN before the marine results, loved the crazyness of the yahoo boards, but became less active when moved to ihub.

I’ll share my Monday morning story. I was getting the toddlers ready for daycare (2.5 boy and 16 month girl....yes im tired often). I was about to walk out the door and my son goes “me poop!”. Oh boy did he. Went up his backside and had to change his clothes before heading out. Once I got them both buckled into the truck, I checked my phone and my friend texted me the cnbc article “AMRM up 300% in premarket”. I screamed woohoo and my kids clapped haha. It was a very good day. I skipped into work.

I am a financial planner in NYC, I have several of my clients with high risk in AMRN too. Was fun making calls to everyone. Had a few thousand shares for some family members too. Sold 50% across the board (only 1/5 for myself...that sale alone doubled my initial investment!). Ready to see Vascepa become Lipitor 2.0. I also have a friend who is a Vascepa sales rep for AMRN....he had a very good day too.

Back from vacation, I am ready for the results. My gut says by end of the week, who knows! Really hope we have a happy outcome here. This has been far too long

The finish line.... we are almost there. I have been checking in occasionally but everything is on the line now with RI results in less than 2 months. Although I am definitely depressed with the fall from $4 to $2.50, I don’t think there is a leak. It is just a very large binary event not many are comfortable with. At this point, I amfully invested, and can stomach a 50% loss with bad RI results, but they are outweighed by the +200% to +400% return if RI is very positive. I consider myself “pot committed”, like a poker player.

I am going through my facebook feed, and I see a friend from high school standing in front of a Vascepa booth. Then I realized he is in pharmaceutical sales. Turns out he is one of the Amarin sales reps. Anyway i messaged him and told him I have been investing in amarin before the time there was “more buyout offers than employees” haha. I quizzed him on the marine and anchor study lol.

Obviously he knows as much as we know, as he is blinded to the outcome study as well. But, he is putting away a significant portion of his pay in company stock. Anyway, small world that an old friend of mine is on the inside!

lol I don't believe everything i read on the internet. I did reread the amrn sales deck, they don't quantify the numbers too deep, but they easily have to be $5 billion sales market worldwide, which would still make today's price very cheap with successful RI.

Thanks for the quick response. How many other drugs historically have had this sales potential? Just trying to realistically quantify potential share price based on a positive RI. If RI is a blowout, I don't see amrn realizing max potential before being purchased anyway. Hopeful for $10 to $15.
