Wow oh Wow!
How about that PR! Way to go LWLG! "Further optimizations will be made between the package and the polymer modulator to fine-tune performance parameters of prototypes before customer evaluations can begin."
Think I'll celebrate by having a piece of PunkN' pie :)

Come on man!
Response to the idea that technology companies let competition know about their technology...
Yeah right! Just like N M Electronics (1968) did before they became who they are now.
Quote:
“A reputable company shares details of their technology unless there is something to hide or there is an unfavorable metric if released will do damage to the overall mission of fleecing shareholders.”
4 the Great PunkN' messages:
I can't prove it. Neither can others disprove it. However, its our $$ and we can choose to invest them as we please. Why do you care what others do with investment dollars?

You can't!

Yep, I started out programming the plug boards, then IBM's BAL, Cobol, Fortran, RPG, UNIX scripting, Progress RDBMS & 4GL..... finally retirement :)
Waiting on LWLG to help make retirement more profitable than 50+/- yrs of working and saving. It won't be long now!
Yep, I remember the IBM 80 column sorting machine rule:
"Face Down, Nine Edge First"
It was the way to insert card decks in the IBM 1402 and 1622 punch card readers so the sorting would be correct. I also remember 10 platter disks that weighted 10-15 lbs and stored max capacity of 80 MB. However, I'm not too old to recognize the messaging game of "Shorts Corruption" :)
Can't wait till this disruptive technology from LWLG drives the USA economy up the growth path (along with my portfolio too).
Dude... why don't you show the prices from January 2017 when the SMA(50) on 1/3/2017 was .59 cents? :)
Since 2008, I'm all in :)
Waiting till September to see Lightwave's Mach-Zehnder modulator prototype using a ridge waveguide design.
Reminder...
On December 29, 2016 LWLG was .60 cents. I will not panic and sell my shares under panic conditions. Most Longs believe LWLG is close to becoming the disruptor of silicone chip technology and has the potential to displace Intel and others if it doesn't get bought out first.
Disclosure: Looooong since 2008 and will not sell till it hits my target $$$. Also my account is NOT a margin account :)
Yep.... you're correct, but what you fail to note is: On December 29, 2016 it was .60 cents. Therefore it has doubled in price in 7 months.
Looooong since 2008 and will not sell till it hits $20. Also my account is NOT a margin account :)

Investors might be searching high and low to find some good deals in the equity market. With the market riding high, it may be difficult to find great bargain basement stocks. Filtering through the technicals may help locate some stocks that are poised to make a run even higher. Many investors will choose to look at all the technical indicators while some will zoom in on a few hand-picked ones. Shuffling through the markets may get dizzying at times, but that little extra research might just help locate that diamond in the rough that has yet to break out. Investors may be holding on to a big winner or two in the portfolio. At current market levels, it may be tempting to take some profits, and this may create a major dilemma for the individual investor.
Deep diving into the technical levels for Lightwave Logic Inc (LWLG), we note that the equity currently has a 14-day Commodity Channel Index (CCI) of 123.50. Active investors may choose to use this technical indicator as a stock evaluation tool. Used as a coincident indicator, the CCI reading above +100 would reflect strong price action which may signal an uptrend. On the flip side, a reading below -100 may signal a downtrend reflecting weak price action. Using the CCI as a leading indicator, technical analysts may use a +100 reading as an overbought signal and a -100 reading as an oversold indicator, suggesting a trend reversal.
Lightwave Logic Inc’s Williams Percent Range or 14 day Williams %R currently sits at -11.76. The Williams %R oscillates in a range from 0 to -100. A reading between 0 and -20 would point to an overbought situation. A reading from -80 to -100 would signal an oversold situation. The Williams %R was developed by Larry Williams. This is a momentum indicator that is the inverse of the Fast Stochastic Oscillator.
Currently, the 14-day ADX for Lightwave Logic Inc (LWLG) is sitting at 46.20. Generally speaking, an ADX value from 0-25 would indicate an absent or weak trend. A value of 25-50 would support a strong trend. A value of 50-75 would identify a very strong trend, and a value of 75-100 would lead to an extremely strong trend. ADX is used to gauge trend strength but not trend direction. Traders often add the Plus Directional Indicator (+DI) and Minus Directional Indicator (-DI) to identify the direction of a trend.
The RSI, or Relative Strength Index, is a widely used technical momentum indicator that compares price movement over time. The RSI was created by J. Welles Wilder who was striving to measure whether or not a stock was overbought or oversold. The RSI may be useful for spotting abnormal price activity and volatility. The RSI oscillates on a scale from 0 to 100. The normal reading of a stock will fall in the range of 30 to 70. A reading over 70 would indicate that the stock is overbought, and possibly overvalued. A reading under 30 may indicate that the stock is oversold, and possibly undervalued. After a recent check, the 14-day RSIfor Lightwave Logic Inc (LWLG) is currently at 61.67, the 7-day stands at 63.53, and the 3-day is sitting at 60.79.
Making the grade in the equity market may not come easily. There is constantly news and information swirling about the next big stock that is ready to take off. Doing a deep-dive into the fundamentals of a specific company may help uncover some data that may help sway the decision whether to jump in or stay out. Some investors may choose to take a contrarian approach when selecting stocks. A contrarian investing strategy may involve buying when everybody is selling, or vice-versa. Contrarians may take the mindset that markets have the ability to overreact to good news or bad news. Going against the grain may not be the easiest strategy to adapt for the novice. Investors may need to fine tune their skills in order to go generally against the crowd. There may come a time when everyone may be selling out of a stock for no real apparent reason. Taking a closer look at stocks like this may reveal some information that may help put the mind at ease.

What a Breakout on Lightwave Logic, Inc.
I googled Purcell Julie & Lefkowitz
Looks like they make their money via class actions against many companies. Perhaps the Great Punk-In is involved :)
