AmeriChip International Inc. secures purchase order
Friday April 30, 8:00 pm ET
DETROIT, MI, April 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - The Board of Directors of AmeriChip International Inc. ACHI:OTC-BB (the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has received a purchase order for the processing of auto parts for a major Tier One supplier to the automotive industry.
As disclosed in a previous release, the Company has completed trials and has received verbal confirmation from the customers' Engineering Department that a purchase order to process a specific automotive part has been issued with hard copy to follow. This purchase order represents AmeriChip's ability to create revenue implementing the LACC process for a Tier One supplier. In management's opinion, the successful completion of this order will lead to future orders from this supplier. As a direct result of the savings the Company was able to generate for its first customer the Company has been asked to conduct trials for other Tier One suppliers.
In addition to applying the LACC process in a direct manufacture of parts, which enhances the speed of manufacturing, AmeriChip can also create revenue by licensing a manufacturer to use the LACC process in their facility paying an overall price or per piece price. Other revenue streams can include the manufacturing of parts using the LACC process in an AmeriChip facility and delivering a finished part to the customer.
At a meeting of the Board of Directors of AmeriChip International Inc. held on April 30, 2004, changes were made to the Board. Effective immediately David Howard becomes the Chairman of the Board of Directors. Marc Walther will become the President and Chief Executive Officer. He will retain his previous responsibilities of Chief Financial Officer. Edward Rutkowski is now Vice President of Research and Development and Chief Operating Officer.
AmeriChip International, Inc. trades on the OTC-BB (ACHI).
This release may contain forward-looking statements that involve risks and uncertainties. Actual results may differ materially from the results predicted. House of Brussels Initiates Sales to US Navy & Marine Corps Exchanges
HOUSTON, TEXAS, Apr 13, 2004 (CCNMatthews via COMTEX) --
House of Brussels Chocolates ("Brussels" or "HBSL") (OTC BB: HBSL), through its CEO Grant Petersen, is pleased to announce its first set of sales to "quality-of-life" divisions of two separate branches of the United States military. Specifically, sales have been initiated to both the United States Navy and the United States Marine Corps for distribution via their worldwide stores.
Through leads developed at the ECRM Planning Sessions attended by HBSL's sales team in June 2003 and January 2004, HBSL has now made its first round of sales to The Navy Exchange Service Command ("NEXCOM") and Marine Corps Community Services ("MCCS") at Camp Lejeune, NC.
NEXCOM operates numerous businesses worldwide including over one hundred Navy Exchanges of which HBSL has just made sales to an initial five for the Christmas 2004 season. HBSL looks forward to expanding its penetration into a substantial portion of the remaining Navy Exchanges over the next several months.
MCCS Camp Lejeune is a Marine Corps Exchange that provides various quality of life businesses and services to Marines, Sailors and their family members. MCCS sells various articles and services for health, comfort, and convenience at reasonable prices to active duty members. With an initial sale to one of the largest MCCS, HBSL now looks forward to expanding and leveraging the relationship with Camp Lejeune into other MCCS locations worldwide as the year progresses.
Grant Petersen, CEO of Brussels, said, "These sales are a direct function of our marketing efforts through the ECRM program. We met the buyers for NEXCOM and the buyers for Camp Lejeune's Marine Corps Exchange two ECRM shows ago and cemented our relationship at the recent meeting in San Antonio. Our continued negotiations and product tailoring have generated initial purchase orders which we hope to expand on significantly in the months and years to come." Petersen went on to say, "HBSL is extremely proud to have been selected by both the Navy and Marine Corps Exchange Services, as an authorized vendor of our great chocolates, particularly during this time of demanding sacrifice made by Service Members throughout the world. Hopefully, we can "sweeten" their quality of life just a little."
About NEXCOM (www.navy-nex.com)
Established in 1946 and headquartered in Virginia Beach, VA, the Navy Exchange Service Command ("NEXCOM") employs over 16,000 associates in over 100 locations worldwide, each of which is uniquely designed to meet the needs of its local area. NEXCOM's mission is to provide active duty, family members, retirees, National Guard, and reservists with quality goods and services conveniently and at a significant savings. Seventy percent of the profits (over $2 billion since 1946) generated within the Exchange System are given back to Sailors in the form of Morale, Welfare, and Recreation distributions.
About Camp Lejeune (www.lejeune.usmc.mil)
For more than a half-century, Camp Lejeune has been the home base for the II Marine Expeditionary Force, 2d Marine Division, 2d Force Service Support Group and other combat units and support commands. Camp Lejeune's mission is to maintain combat ready units for expeditionary deployment. The base is home to an active duty, dependent, retiree and civilian employee population of nearly 150,000 people. The base generates $2 billion in commerce each year and the profits generated from the Marine Corps Exchange are used to provide a supplemental source of funding for the MCCS programs that support Quality of Life Programs for Marines, their families, retirees and civilian marines. Camp Lejeune is a three-time recipient of the Commander-in-Chief's Award for Installation Excellence. This award recognizes the base on a Department of Defense-level for effectively managing assets and developing quality programs to accomplish the mission of providing expeditionary forces in readiness.

For more than 20 years, House of Brussels Chocolates has manufactured and distributed high-end, award-winning chocolates. Headquartered in Houston, TX, HBSL has manufacturing plants in Vancouver and San Francisco. In addition to a broad spectrum of products in the Gourmet/Ultra-Gourmet category, HBSL now manufactures a complete line of no-sugar-added/low-carbohydrate line of chocolate bars and truffles and several nutritional supplement bars. In addition to house brands, HBSL creates custom packaging, shaping and sizing as well as private labels for several major North American retailers.
