Appreciate your sympathy, feedback, and disclosure. Good Luck.
He doesn't necessarily gain anything from the CTO. In fact, he has much to lose, as do you and I. That's the point. And that's why he and his team (e.g., Randy) keep up with the same old talking point: "...the CTO will be lifted next week...it will be lifted soon..." or some other similiar, arbitrary bullshit statement . He gains not by the CTO but by not losing you and every other current and future investor, who buys into the bait.
If you were following the string of correspondence you would have realized that I can neither sell nor buy. I'm a frustrated Canadian forced to sit on the sidelines with my money tied up!
Brain lives in the Penny Stock World where deception, manipulation, and dishonesty breed and thrive. Does it really matter what he said in a newspaper article? Does it make it real? True? Or is it just simply another brazen attempt at defrauding the public to achieve personal gain? How good is your bullshit meter? The answer to these questions can only be decided by oneself.
Psychologically, it's much easier for one to feel assured that the CTO will be lifted "shortly" when it's not their money tied up (i.e., can't be bought or sold) in a stock that, from my point of view, has been mismanaged for a long time, i.e., years. Further, as I have stated before, like the boy who falsely cried "wolf" repeatedly, GCEI has, too many times, 'cried' the CTO will "be lifted shortly," or "sometime next week," or "sometime in the next week or two," etc. I no longer trust their forecasts or soothsaying!!
if by "we" you mean American investors then, yes, perhaps you are in at the right time. But if by "we" you mean the entire inclusive club of GCEI investors, including Canadians, they I would have to say, as a Canadian investor, this is the worst possible time to be invested in GCEI!!
No relief here unfortunately. As t-do suggested in his last post, this is sounding like a broken record. Several times in the recent past we have heard, "expect it to be lifted next week," "expect it to be lifted by the middle of next week," etc.
This appears to be more a tactic to appease and quiet the fuming investors who are growing weary and inpatient with the company.
Most here, I assume, are familiar with the fairy tale concerning the 'boy who cried wolf.' Well I, for one, no longer believe the "boy."
LV, could you please provide a link to whatever it is that you are intimating? Would be much appreciated.
Not likely news to anyone on this board, but the Canadian CTO remains in effect...still!!!
Great news? Not from the point of view of a plummeting pps, the only thing that matters to longs!!
thks Pete.
Does anyone recall off hand when the merger was scheduled to be finalized? And, to anyone's knowledge, has this date changed?
Any concrete basis for suspicion?
Anyone on this board the least bit concerned that the pps is following the same trend lines as did XXII post Nasdaq uplisting and thus is moving towards losing two thirds of it's 52 week high?
The pps trend lines over the last few weeks have all the markers of a classic pump and dump. Does anyone on this board have any real insight and/or knowledge - not speculation - into who was behind the pump and dump?
Any insights into the slow, gradual pps descent? TW's dismal performance causing investors confidence to drop?
Thanks to both you and sch. If IR replies, please post.
Anyone know when Q2 Earnings Report will be released?
But the extent to which your Canadian brethren can not trade this stock - which at present is nil - then to that extent you and other US investors are affected, e.g., by loss of volume, by loss of intercontinental confidence in the stock, etc.
I'm long but sidelined!
FYI: Canadian trading halt remains in effect. Concerning this, I wrote GCEI a week ago but my request for an update appears to have fallen on deaf ears. This is a dark cloud over the heads of all GCEI investors!
FYI: Canadian trading halt (CTO) remains in effect.
Launch on July 11 or 14?
ANY, TSXV, $10.65. Ask is $10.84
FYI: ANY trading on TSXV @ 10.35 (LOD), down from 52 week high of 11.20
gotcha, thanks for clarifying!
CK, I can be a little dense at times. Can you please explain what you mean by, "I want to buy as cheap as they will let me sell them for."
Thanks.
Why don't you like it?
Really? Why a nickel? I see major resistance at 0.06. Hope you're right.
Don't know off-hand...would have to look into it.
I don't know the answer to your question, although I do have a USD account with RBC. However, it presently does not permit me to buy GCEI. This is the account I have used to buy my current GCEI holdings.
Thanks, that's kind of you! The world needs more kindness.
Wow, nice job RT!!! I love to have access to it when it goes live. Please keep my posted!!
RT, I like the screen shot. Where's it from?
over 3 Mil volume and in the red. Not a good sign!
OMD, you wrote:
"If it takes another month or so, it will not bother me. If that causes the price to drop in the interim, I will be taking advantage."
Evidently, you're not Canadian. We Canadians can neither buy nor sell. No taking advantage of pps drop for us.
right, makes sense...wasn't looking at a L2
With the momentum this thing has, who would sell at .045?? What are they thinking???

You're welcome MK. I trust it will be resolved before too long. In the meantime, I will have to be satisfied with the position I have knowing that it can not, at present, be added to.
No, it will get rejected. I assume you're not trading in Canada?
