Go Bears, Super Bowl bound.
UCLA rules!
Congrats to those also who held, very strong longs and board.
CL, good to see you here, like your charting.
Billy, hve you considered the lap band for your bank account, then you won't have to worry about its size.
Close to $1.2 million in dollar volume today, a great day indeed.
Not always easy, I admit, but we had a lot of support holding on, especially from Ex, VZ and others in the Den and on the various boards. YW, Connie, well deserved.
That would be a good one for Brad Paisley to sing. Next time, maybe you can add the word gizzard to the rhyming. This is a good candidate for the Grand Ole Opry. Keep up the good work!
We are incredibly lucky to have met Monk and followed his advice. BTW, Connie, if Monk is the Man, then you are the Woman. EIGH gives new meaning to the phrase, "Been there, done that, bought the T shirt", let's buy more 8000 Inc. T shirts.
Obviously they have wisdom in Texas and riches too! GLTU, you deserve it.
lolzzzzzzzzz to all the Densters, Monk for President!
Very happy camper here. Not selling, but should be able to buy several shirts in the future.
I just called TDA and they said it is still restricted to closing transactions only. Please tell me where you got your info and where I can call to confirm that. TIA
A stock dividend wouldn't hurt here.
If the retained earnings are $900,000+, and the OS is about 140,000 shares, then it would seem that 30% of the retained earnings would be about $300,000 and that would represent a cash dividend of about $.03. These are round numbers only, and if my math is reasonably correct, that would not meet the $.10 necessary for a cash dividend. Am I correct in this? I really hope not because the cash dividend would be best for all of us.
I have ameritrade also. They don't let me buy or sell, whether online or called in. What did you do thave an exception made for you?
Your very creative siggy brings to mind two economic bubbles, the dot com and real estate. But EIGH is no bubble.
Savannah, Charleston, now you're talking. Charleston is my favorite city in the South, also the best Southern accent there. Calhoun city. If you haven't seen it, check out the film, "Sherman's March," very amusing.
Loads of fun and will be able to afford even more fun in the future!
Have a great time, how can you not in London? You will be missed here.
Connie, when you are in London, mind the gap (a tube joke)
Anyone who has gone to a Monkinar and met the Monk knows that they don't come any smarter than him. We are in good hands indeed.
Don't forget the battle of Lookout Mountain. My best friend in college went to Baylor, another went to MacCauley. The real South down there.
Healthy action, to be expected, no panic here. Good leadership and common sense on this board.
Faxed, good things come to those who wait. Looking good for the patient ones.
It's my turn to buy you some beer, for all you've done for me and the board, greatly appreciated and needed. BTW, there's an old song that reminds me of that fisherman, Bad Moon Arising.
Ex, that looks like a classic double bottom, and combined with your previous double indicators, bodes well for future appreciation. My appreciation, however, only holds for half of your indicators.
Lolzzzzzz
Yes, one of several, and I started buying after that, best decision I made in my investing career so far. Great team here, lots of support in the hard times, especially from some very experienced and knowledgeable posters.
The Monkinar started the fun, it's even sweeter after holding through the rough times, much more to go here.
Doughty is going to be a combo of Niedemeyer and Pronger, a future Norris winner. Penner has been somewhat of a disappointment but should be better in the future. I think he misses the Ducks and his buddies, Getzlaf and Perry.
I'm a Ducks and Kings fan also. Ducks have to rebuild, Kings are well on their way now. GLTU and the Flames, they need the old Fleury back.
Not the same team without Cammmalleri and Phaneuf.
The Hawks are going to be great for years, they know how to build a team. One mistake, signing Hossa to such a long contract, at least the Kings didn't do that with Kovalchuck.
The Lions will rise again, but it will take time.
Da Bears need a great QB. Cutler is good but not great. Defense will get you into the championship game but will not win it. I'm more of a baseball and hockey fan, Cubs and Hawks. Watch Darwin Barney, a future All-Star, been following him since he played for Oregon State. A Jeter type. Good to hear from a true Chicagoan and Monkster. Out here, Angels and Dodgers, painful to watch, need drastic surgery.
YW, another PM for you as a welcome. Sounds like you will be a good contributor.
Nushooz, I went to the Monkinar in January, 2010 in LA and met the same kind of people there that you met in ATL. Agree with all your comments and wish you and the rest of the Den continued success in the future with your investments. We all deserve it, and Pay it Forward.
Excellent post, very useful. Glad to have you aboard here, you will be an asset.
Great action for a Friday. Consolidation very healthy for the chart, a tree never grows to the sky. Let's drink to an exciting week and hopefully we can all meet at the Stanley Cup with our profits and afford the best seats.
