Tony, look at it in another way. All those workers at Apple China making good wages and possibly overtime now have extra income to purchase beef, prawns and eels from SIAF.
Big difference between a company with ideas and a dream, but no earnings and what we see with SIAF.
As far as the DD from EC goes, I think it is just a confirmation of the info that RD has been supplying us about the numbers. IMO, he is the one that should get the fee for DD.
A short squeeze will happen at the opening.

New photos of the MF have been posted to the facebook page. IMO, it looks like the first projects completed were the administrative offices and landscaping.

Have you discovered which of the quarters has the most seasonal variation? For instance, Q1 would have the New Years celebrations meaning more usage of higher quality foods. Or Q4 might have a bias toward selling more fertilizer in preparation for spring planting.
Dig a bit deeper and you will see they control several patents for an enhanced version of stevia. In other words, combine these with access to supply from China and you get potential. The enhancements include fermentation and also increasing production of the active ingredients from the existing supply (meaning more product from the same amount of plant). Their plan does not need production of their own crop, just access to supply from other sources.
This is the WALL STREET JOURNAL article that fueled the price action today.

IMO, the next amount of funding will come from the Chinese govt in the form of a grant for SJAP. Dragon head status means govt support. The visit of the official last week was the tip-off. These guys are like politicians everywhere. Whenever there is govt involvement, there is a politician looking for a photo-op,

Has anyone noticed that these visits by government officials are always followed by an announcement of a deal of some sort?
You are talking about individual taxes. I was talking about a corporate tax that might be due from the company because of the dividend.
Will the funds used to pay the USA holders of the F shares (dividends) be taxable? That money would have to be transferred from a Chinese bank to the US brokerage firms for distribution, making it a repatriation of funds.
PLPL really shouldn't be considered an mj play until the R&D is completed for a pharmaceutical use. Until then, the other products take precendence.
I think it will be interesting to see if the hiring of Ms Olivia will have a positive effect on cash flow. This will be the first complete quarter that she will have control of the cash flow.
This article about Coca-Cola marketing of stevia products is interesting. So far, they are using some additional sugar to sweeten the taste. The STVF version of Reb A might allow them to use 100% stevia instead.

Add supply shortage to your list of factors with Tesco. Guaranteeing high quality and adequate supply is a problem in China.
A partnership with Tesco would also combine nicely with the mega farm in the future for many items like prawns and produce.
Quote from the PR:
Stevia First recently agreed to form an alliance with Qualipride International in order to substantially take over their stevia sales and distribution business, and to obtain access to an annual supply of 1,500 or more tons of stevia extract capacity. This stevia extract could be used as starting material within an enzyme enhancement process and converted into highly purified Reb A, which may command market prices estimated at approximately $100,000 per ton.
1,500 tons times $100,000 stresses my calculator. $150 million divided by the outstanding shares is over $2.00 per share. This is now an undervalued stock.
Been a shareholder for over one year. I like the trend and the recent moves.
This is a developing company. DON'T expect rationality, everything is all about intangibles right now. We won't know about revenues until they are reported. Everything right now is speculation.

Ms. Olivia should apply to that wealth fund for a loan. Seems to be a no brainer.
But one month since they began production of their premier product.
Thoughts about the presentation:
Company has 8 current employees, six are full time researchers.
Product announcements will come sometime this fall during Q3. Ramp up will be very quick because the company intends to license the research and not become a major grower itself. Intended to partner with the leading soft drink companies and other users of large quantities of sugar.
I misspoke. Substitute the word enhanced for the word artificial.

The Vineland License has an initial term of 10 years and may be renewed by us for additional two-year terms until all licensed patents have expired. Pursuant to the Vineland License, we agreed to total cash fees due and payable within the first year of $ 50,000 , all of which has been paid and recorded as expenses. In addition to these cash fees, we will owe royalties of 0.5 % of the sale price of products developed using the intellectual property, and in the third year and all subsequent years of the Vineland License the Company will owe a minimum annual royalty of $ 10,000 . On October 10, 2013, we entered into an amendment to the Vineland License, pursuant to which Vineland agreed to license to us an additional patent application and to pay up to $ 50,000 in patent prosecution cost related to the new patent application.
I've never seen anyone work as hard as you to find insignificant information.
You didn't catch the meaning of the word artificial. The coke and pepsi products use stevia extract.
All you need to know is that they control the patent to produce an artificial stevia substitute. In other words, once all the details are known, STVF will control the sugar-free beverage market.
The mj plays are weak because their won't be significant revenues from them all, except plpl, until their is a product that is recognized as effective by the FDA. PLPL isn't in that category because it is not a one product company. In fact, PLPL will have revenue streams from many products over the coming years.

Not sure but Danish come in packages of six or twelve.
The trading today is more like what other stocks trade like. When there is a seller who wants to sell against the uptrend, the MM's drop the bid and basically take that person to the cleaners. Then there is a quick move to regain the uptrend.
It is the goal to produce an effective pharmaceutical product which will make PLPL attractive as a takeover target of the big players (Pfizer, Bayer etc). They are always looking for the next billion dollar drug.
The shorts will eventually run out of nerve and cover then the price goes back up to $.50.
