Be nice if it closed the week up-and-not-slide
"A-Year" "The-Year" "Next-Year?" find the Easter-egg with-the revenue.
More prototype news is-not-booked-revenue investors not buying-it
Good volume but-not-a-lot-of-movement-in price still sideways
Holding shares and covering a position
In situations where I bought substantial positions and after a reasonable point in time I would cover the investment just in case it didn't work out . I would do this on short term moves which means buying back my position on purchases bought at lower tiers to offset purchases at higher levels given an upward move of the current price.
LQMT may face other business and manufacturing issues Regardless of what is being said here about patents or what market this technology will work best in ... it's just conjecture. Their IP property is very valuable and constitutes the real value of the company given no substantial booked revenue to date and I'm sure there are a lots of companies including Apple that would love to see them fail and buy the IP.
I'm not advising you to do anything nor am I making a recommendation. I am just relating my experience.
Stock-Still-Sideways, L2 -blah, buyers-waiting-for SALES, REVENUE announcement-NEWS
Absolutely True...
Sandy4-has-a-point...And-this company has no P/E, valuation.
It rides on air and investor sentiment and if by chance they book real customers it will take off. Their only stumbling block is the company has funding for fiscal 2013 only and must look for additional funding if they do not book any business in fiscal 2013.
Real revenue, a real P/E, customers, customers, customers
That's for the longs... For the traders the way this stock can move well... It will be a sad day for those who buy and sell when this stock begins to book revenue... because at that cost per share the margin gets smaller and smaller and smaller as it rises.
Additionally, LQMT's success does not depend on APPL-alone
There are many players in the market who are interested in LQMT; that is the Prototype message meaning. And whether you are a short term player, buy and sell, like myself or a long term hold this technology has a brilliant future.
It doesn't matter if APPL starts it or not... it will have its day in the sun.
Those who claim-to-know don't-know why APPL hasn't-used-it-yet
If you're not sitting in a corporate decision making position at APPL then it's just conjecture.
You can say what you like but you really don't know... It's that simple.
I-think-it-will Chriswi100 it's moving sidewards and-not-really-declining.
It's just sitting waiting and with strong numbers at a higher price point for the ask which is always a good sign... until it changes to support the lower price demand, but I do not think it will.
Boeing an-announcement-like-that-would-come-as-a standard Press Release... But.
And more than likely if that was the case it would be prior to AeroMat targeted to generate excitement at the CC. Well, who knows anything is possible.
I feel pretty sure that LQMT will get a boost on a short term ride next week which is good for me. But I also believe that when the big announcement comes it will be big.
Oh we'll traders never sleep
That's right I forgot it's Good Friday
It will be an interesting week.
LQMT-has-Flattened-out from a 5 day-slow-decline Volume-is-increasing!
Looks like it's following its usual short term upswing especially since the volume is increasing.
The chart below looks good and with AEROMATT on the horizon I'm thinking, possible seeing, another short term rise maybe back to .11 or slightly higher...? GO LQMT!!!
Over the next 2 days the L2 should be watched closely to look for a ramp up of volume to meet demand at higher prices than lower end bids. If the daily volume continues to gain weight @ higher prices it should run.
MY OPINION! I'm not making a recommendation or advising you to try it. Good way to have fun while waiting for the big announcement.
Since-I've-been-asked I Never Buy-or-Sell lots less than 100k.
And I only do this when, like prior to the Roth CC, the trading VOLUME is HEAVY!
With a hundred 100k lot size just moving up 2 to 3 cents YOUR margin it very much worth it. If it runs hard you can Buy and Sell your way up until it flattens... Do the math: Buy 100k @0.084 minus commission, approx $8.5k --- Sell 100k @ 0.110 minus commission, approx $11k with a profit of approx $2.5k
Buying and Selling in anything less than 100k LOTS WHEN the STOCK is MOVING is not really worth it. MY OPINION!
I'm not making a recommendation or advising you to try or do it, just commenting about the beats I put together off my own playbook. Good way to have fun while waiting for the big announcement.
Sideways movement is GOOD!... LQMT is-in-wait-mode see-chart.
Sideways implies levels of resistance and support before starting a move higher or lower. It is not necessarily a negative by any means.
Look at this chart below LQMT is just waiting for the next push which I believe will come next Monday or Tuesday just before the start of the AeroMatt CC.

LQMT can make you money! When you compare LQMT's movement to some of the REAL Bow-Wows in this penny market that totally collapse like TTDZ where you can buy a million shares for $100, well...
No I do not see a free-fall especially-prior-to-the-Roth-CC
When interests revives in LQMT especially around a CC (ROTH) or speculation like Apple (prior to the i5 public announcement) or just strong news and rumor... LQMT moves and moves with volume that implies investor interest and Buying and Selling which is what I mostly do.
LQMT is currently running sideways which implies strong levels resistance and support before starting a move higher or lower. Yes it has been on a 12 month decline but when I see the kind of volume and movement as i have seen in this stock I have to say that they are still in the game.
I understand, and I hope it works-out-for-you...
Losing money-on-enthusiasm, the-result-of-Rumors... Remember-i5?
The answer is yes, they can. How many people lost money after the i5 public conference announcement... I would guess quite a few. And all that investing was the result of media hype which generated quite a bit of frenzy buying.
You're a player look at the chart below, what do you see? I bet it's what I see...
I hope you're right, I'd like to see-this-company-do-it
And maybe there are things "going on" and "in place" to finally make this company emerge as a success story. I hope Sandy4 gets her Ferrari and other get what they want.
Successful companies that-produce-no-REVENUE, a unique concept!
Don't bet your life savings on it... The investment community always looks at profitability.
LQMT would be worth trillions and it doesn't seem to be the case since the current stock price is at 0.0888
Many have come and gone with great technology because their financing ran out. LQMT has to put money on the table this year or look for new financing for the next fiscal year. I would not call that a success story.
Fighting about predictions... THERE are no crystal-balls!
The only reason why LQMT rose last week to .11 was because investors expected news: SALES possible, deals, REVENUE to be announced at the ROTH... when that didn't happen the stock tanked a bit but all-in-all has held...
THIS company has NO P/E and shipping prototypes while somewhat news worthy is not SALES & REVENUE.
I'LL BET that the same thing will...or may happen shortly before the upcoming Aerospace "dog & pony" and when the result is the same thing no news about SALES & REVENUE it will tank but hopefully hold.
With indifference to those who bock at short term plays claiming picking up a couple of pennies isn't worth it... try 3 to 4 grand on a short buy and sell, what's wrong with that for a few days work?
At some point when LQMT announces their first BIG deal this stock will move, maybe upwards of a dollar and that alone would be a pretty strong valuation.
Keep the faith Sandy4 at some point-it-will-happen...
I'm glad to see that it didn't fall much further. have a great weekend.
A lot-of-enthusiasm-and-I think that's great... Opening-L2-image
I hope for all the long term players that soon LQMT will announce some revenue producing contract regardless of what industry becomes its first serious customer. And I sincerely hope this happens before LQMT has to find new financing for next fiscal year. GO LQMT!
I'm not a big fan of rumor and speculation... Never have been. in fact when I see rumor running a stock I usually buy and sell before the rumor runs out as I believe it did at the conclusion of the Roth Conference when no positive sales news was announced. And I'm sure the hoopla of the Aerospace conference will again drive the stock up and prior to the conference I will sell again...
But all-in-all if LQMT gets orders this fiscal year... as Sandy4 and others predict this stock will run heavy and maybe make some wealthy. So while my betting strategy is different from the "Hold Fast" investors as I said I hope LQMT blows the doors off it all.
Hope-it-works... some-Demand-BID-side hopefully-ASK will hold
and offer the BID volume at a higher price
True, new tech takes-time-to-sell it's-called "Missionary Selling"
Just like the religious missionaries who ventured out into to the world to convince people so ingrained in their practices that it took a very long time to convert them over.
So what are the possible barriers to market entry for LQMT? What do we really know from the manufactures side who would be the consumers or converts? What are the resistance factors?
Where is their market? ... WHAT DO YOU THINK?
1. Is the finished product of a component price competitive to an existing supply chain item?
2. What pricing structures can LQMT offer to be competitive and beat existing supply chain manufacturers?
3. Is it necessary to replace long term purchased components with such an exotic material... What would be the motivation to do so?
4. Will it only be used in special case, 1 off, situations because existing components satisfy requirements?
5. Most manufactures buy their components from foreign entities because labor costs are cheap. How can LQMT compete is this market shifted off shore?
Nice-save-at the-end but 2k @ .098 we'll-just-have-to wait.
Well, tomorrow is another day and it's fair to say that the morning spin will tell the story. usually after a dozen or so trades (the opening fluff) you get to the real trend.
It's a great stock but once again with no real revenue to speak, no sales in the immediate future and APPL not playing fair I am in favor of very short term buying and selling UNTIL something concrete in sales does appear.
For those of you who bought @ .07+ and were lucky enough to get out at .11 congrats that's a great percentage gain.
Thanks wesd25 understood... good-info. L2 ASK-is-working-with Bidders
If it closes-below .09 today It will be a very interesting morning
Yes-I-read-the UnvTexas@Austin-study Still nothing about sales?
thanks.
weds25 did you hear the same negative concerning LQMT?
Good-question, but-I-just-wish they'd announce a deal with-anyone!
Ok thanks
LQMT conference listeners any mention of potential business?
