Now that's an opition that makes me smile. Hoping that's not USAA you're referring To! Lol!
Thanks. That's what we've narrowed it down to as well. SS1
Pack USAA in like I'm doing. They all determine what stocks they let you invest in as well. Doesn't matter what the ticker designator is, if it's related to medicinal MJ they won't make the buy for you even if you call them. I don't own any of these stocks but pondered changing my philosophy one or twice. Just my humble opinion. SS1
Raydawg,
What kind of business are you starting up and do you plan on seeking investor support?
Thanks,
SS1
Lunch time check-in. Glad we're moving back up! SS1
I'll definitely be there to buy some...owned this for awhile now and a good $ cost averaging would be welcome. SS1
So what is this forum trying to accomplish? Kill any thoughts of new investors? If this guy's not the real deal, then why are folks still here? Thanks for your thoughts. SS1
Exactly. Guess I ought to try and call this CEO and provide a basic Economics 101 lesson starting with supply and demand. I'll also do some research on the Bearpot site. Have to head to the day job. Cheers, SS1
This CEO would be smart if he let the shares grow in value and then start easing in the dilution. What a card! I hope he gets a clue... We all know what the medicinal MJ movement can bring to any stock now adays and this guys killing the money tree he's trying to grow! Might have to leave this party a whole lot earlier than planned...sad really. Sorry, had to get that off my chest before heading to the day job. Been a silent runner for too long here. SS1
Sorry Beamin. Had a few of those here lately and our thoughts are with you. Peace. SS1
Thanks Zulu. Peace. SS1
Raydawg,
Interesting observation. Many companies that are on the bleeding edge of a new industry definitely have an uphill battle and soon learn to adjust the profit margin once they get a feel for the markets they want to play in. IF they're an E-Commerce type they'll usually assess the exposure to the market they're targeting and either adjust to compete or limit their exposure through selective regions. Let's face it, there's no secret this is early in the game and you're not buying an established retailer like Tesco or Walmart. This appears to be a few new industries all wrapped into one offering so the dynamics are incredibly difficult to sort through if that makes sense? Just my opinion.
Best regards,
SS1
Law of economics. I spent 20 years abroad in the Far East, Middle East, Europe, and the HOA (Horn of Africa). What I noticed is there's a notable difference in the cost of goods (fruit, cars, clothes, etc.) that is documented across many industries and cultures. When you say SPLI's (Vapor) goods are high priced, we might want to consider doing some research on what these items cost off the shelves in Europe and the Far East for example as opposed to the U.S. and South America. Beyond tariffs and international law, SPLI may need to adjust prices to the country they're selling in or to if that makes sense. With new market segments and innovative options to an industry like tobacco, this might be something SPLI has yet to consider in their cost structure and explain the value difference? Just something to consider. Please note, this is just something I was pondering when the cost difference question came up.
Cheers,
SS1
JR,
Did you see the news yesterday about the CO herb stores having to post armed (ex-mil) and cops outside of their places do to the amount of cash they're bringing in? Guess the banks won't let them deposit it and they're getting creative. Ever heard of a lock box in a bank?!? Jeesh, banks won't stop that approach. Lol! Cheers, SS1
Jlaus82,
I'm not one to try and change anyone's mind on these forums but there are a lot of different folks being kind enough to answer your questions which have views of their own. From my experience, there are some here that keep it real and are sincere in their responses--Neighbor, Hemp, Beamin1, Marquee, J.R., and a few others (sorry if I didn't call you out here but know I appreciate you guys).
It really boils down to what you can find in Cyberland, your desire to call the company or make a trip to their location, ask a CFP, etc. The list goes on but it's all down to you. If you're asking someone here to give you advice and they aren't giving you concrete but abstract answers, perhaps they're concerned about doing so for a good reason. If you aren't happy with the outcome, they could suddenly become the focus of posts that aren't positive. The folks I've identified here are seeking to be a credible group on these forums and I for one appreciate their honesty and candidness. If you think otherwise, I'll give you my opinion or rather ask you a direct question...is this the right stock for you to invest in? All my humble opinion by the by.
Peace,
SS1
Happy Days...just back from work, what did I miss? SS1
Don't take this wrong, but I was hoping for a little drawback to add some shares. Guess I'll be standing pat with what i have for now. See you all tonight after the close brings us to .08 (smiling). SS1
Home for lunch and things look awesome...again. Would imagine .08's not at of the realm of possibility on the close. SS1
Man, don't want to go to the day job watching thing this... I'm thinking .08 by eod id my analysis is even close! Dang, got to run! Peace. SS1
Hemp,
Agreed. Well off to the day job. Peace and have a great day. SS1
What a cool thing to come home to after a day of "death by meeting" and the knowledge that some of us here actually meant what we said when we intended to stand fast and tall while SPLI continues it's climb to a fair value. Pretty gnarly day I'd say... Cheers, SS1
I keep this EFIR stock as a subtle reminder how unpredictable the pennyland terrain can be if you don't do you DD. The best thing that could happen here is for some MCig or MJ stock to see a merger opportunity to ease the cost of gaining access to an established company and occupy the shell. SS1
Surehands, I like your comment... That's what makes this special in my opinion...most don't but the one's that do? Well, I think we'll see what the latter holds for those holding pat and supporting this evolution and transfer of the guard. Thanks to all those who are holding strong and standing by your convictions.Peace, SS1
Thanks LYN, that is awesome! Like the tone of the board, the posters, and days like this... The SPLI team and experience has been the best in a while here on the boards. Well, back to work and checking in later. SS1
Wow, came back home for lunch and look what happened today...priceless. SS1
Militia Man,
Trying to ferret through the countless opinions and divided camps here on GNCC; most specifically Mr. Blom. Just for clarification, can you elaborate on your comment, "Ted seems to be all miner and technically sound and very capable", please? After reviewing his self-proposed background on LinkedIn at http://www.linkedin.com/in/tedblom, one might assume there's a bit more experience than just a "miner" here--my humble opinion.
At first blush, I would definitely agree with your statement, "Ted has a good reputation in big circles and I mean Big Circles Globally"; but I could use your wisdom and thoughts on how that directly relates to core samples in AZ. Not being confrontational here, just looking for your rationale for the Joint Venture (JV) if you're willing to share. Thanks in advance.
SS1
Thanks Beamin, I appreciate your DD and willingness to knowledge share. Sifting through the charts in the swingers lounge now for potential early entry opportunities tomorrow. Cheers! SS1
Beamin,
Think I agree with the "not surprised" piece but the guarantee of not getting burned I want the recipe for! Lol! All kidding aside, If folks are in now, my humble opinion is this is probably the most comfortable I've felt in a penny investment in the past 2 years. Cheers, SS1
Eloquently put Marquee. It's been a long weekend of discussion and thoughts and few wolves who showed up at the gates to test the resolve of the many SPLI-devoted stock owners who've not only experienced the excitement of high ROIs (return on investment) thus far and those of us who've been in the stock for almost 2 years now. Brings me back to the old Wide World of Sports intro so many years ago...
Anyway, perhaps our man Dror and his sidekick Jorge are legitimately trying to establish themselves as winners in the business world...successful business start-ups are not an easy endeavor and failure is a fact of life. Winners are not people who never fail, they're people who when faced with failure never quit. Whether Dror and Jorge fall in this category is something they only know at this point. If they can champion this company into an international power house in 3 - 5 years, the past speculation of proposed "questionable activities" which I've yet to see solid proof on will be forgotten in my humble opinion.
I for one am standing pat and if the opportunity to add at lower price (borrowed next week's allowance from my commander-in-chief home front), I'll do so. If at the end of this scenario I again get burned, I only have myself to face and will follow my beliefs that winners just never give up. Peace to all and let's focus on a positive week that challenges all most know about he RSI factor!
SS1
No problem at all Neighbor. Thanks. SS1
I took 8 hours to do a general assessment of E-Cig and MJ industry stocks (as many as I could some on-line DD on). As many have said here in regards to SPLI, this opportunity proposes one of the most materially and fundamentally sound in what appears to be two sectors that are really hot right. If you haven't spent some time doing you're own DD at the industry and company level which includes each state's effort to legalize and support (or not) medical herb programs, it's definitely something to consider IMHO (in my humble opinion). Yes, it's monotonous but enlightening as I feel much better wading into this new frontier. Cheers and wishing everyone the best here! SS1
Thought this might be worth sharing. An international movement to support medicinal herbs has the potential for positive impacts on a company like TTDZ in the long run. Just my humble opinion of course. SS1

Since some here on the SPLI board are drawing connections with medicinal herbs with the E-Cig business and the proposed market exposure with some multipurpose products the new SPLI has available in the international market, I thought this might be worth sharing. SS1

King,
Sorry, I took it the other way as well. I had an affliction for a good Cuban or Dominican (Monte Cristo, Arturo Fuente, Padron, etc.) and it just wasn't going to work for me (per Doc). I picked up vaping and worked down to just the non-nic version much like the option SPLI will provide. I know it's just my humble opinion, but this could spawn a bundle of opportunities that will not set well with the traditional industry mindset. Appreciate the vector check and no offense meant in my response.
Cheers,
SS1
Beamin,
I'm pondering the wisdom of responding to some of the recent posts of folks who've not been engaged in doing their DD on the SPLI scenario. As DD on SPLI continues, every opinion is worth a read but perhaps that's about it if that makes sense. In my humble opinion, if I had an opportunity to get a few more shares of SPLI at .015 or less with my current understanding of the scenario, I'd welcome the opportunity. If for some reason I was someone just discovering what could be a huge play? Well, depending on my scruples and principles, I'd imagine folks could ferret out my intent in the content of my posts if that makes sense? Enough said.
Cheers,
SS1
King Zoltron,
Keep in mind that vaping isn't just for folks wanting to quit smoking or consume MJ. It appears SPLI also produces juice made in the USA that does not have nicotine...like the juice I vape. It's essentially flavored water vapor. If we reflect on the lessons from alternative and fossil fuels and how the latter bought up ever potential alternative that threatened their profit margin, one might likely imagine that vaping threatens yet another large industry that might be looking for ways to accomplish the same either through buy-outs or lobbying through government channels. All my humble opinion of course but it's something I've considered here lately.
Peace,
SS1
OhWord, I think you're spot on here with your assessment that the Vape world (i.e. the new SPLI) is capitalizing on the universal nature of the E-Cig device to function in multiple capacities...in this case, juice charged with a any kind of herb that can be consumed via the juice medium that emits water vapor and perhaps might very well be odorless.
If perhaps, I'm a recreational smoker of tabacco or any herb, I'm digging the flexibility and responsible behavior aspects of being able to do that and not offend or infringe on the personal rights of others. If the SPLI E-Cig provides that opportunity, I'm thinking that's borderline innovative (my humble opinion). Let's be honest, with the taxes states will reap from legalizing medicinal herb alone will save the state's coffers from going bankrupt and preclude unwanted tax hikes perhaps on great Americans like yourself.
Hot industries are hot industries. SPLI could could be combining two of the hottest industries right now and that seems to be driving many naysayers out to vent conservative opinions much like the one's they oppose here. Regardless of the players involved here, the DD provided by several good folks here have been nothing more than neutral and open to all views. I for one can respect that on a forum like this...
Thanks for your thoughts.
SS1
I believe once you size all the comments up here on SPLI, we all agree it's a personal decision to to know when to be in and when to be out. We all have a strategy that centers on not losing our investments. That said, the knowledge sharing here (good news or not so good news) is why we're here. The learning environment is huge and it helps with making us all better equipped knowledge-wise which is the beauty of Investorshub forums. I for one welcome the exchange and appreciate you all for your opinions and ideas. Thank you. SS1
Thanks MarqueeGemFinder for all your work and DD as well. SS1
Hemp,
As someone pointed out a few days ago, the guy had some bad business decisions with real companies and he didn't quit. He's trying to launch a successful company and make some money in my opinion. Entrepreneurship can be ugly when someone's trying to buy you out of your own business. It's tough enough making a business successful for most any way. All my personal and humble opinion of course. SS1
