Sorry still not selling NNVC.
More insinuation and hyperbole regarding NNVC's timelines, stage of development, allegations of fraud/misuse of company assets by management are just further contrarian indicators that this is a good time to be in NNVC.
Some were calling for the bag to drop out after the hack piece on SA. I really wonder why that article was written. At this point it looks more and more like
an attempt to catch the train before it leaves the station.
But you did say NNVC was the one out of millions.
In one of the 'worst' winters weatherwise on the East Coast in recent history.
I was definitely disappointed by the weather delays but unfortunately weather is actually out of Management's control no matter what some may insinuate.
Poor NNVC 9 years of challenges in development and nearly there.
I'm glad I'm not short ATM, otherwise I might be a little nervous or looking to close out my position.
My turn...this is the only failed cold concrete pour in millions....nice side of hyperbole to go with the bullshit.
In an unfinished building, easily, seriously.
Based on their actions it looks like the analysts at Goldman, Vanguard, JP Morgan, Barclay's didn't give much credence to the SA article at all...looks like they BTFD. Kinda makes you wonder why the anonymous blogger put out that hatchet piece.
I think a cracked concrete floor in an unfinished building in the middle of winter equates to weather related delays.
I think the SEC will agree with me on what weather related delays implies.
Strong case...don't hesitate call/email now before you miss your chance.
I mean it's not like the company disclosed construction delays due to the weather am I right? ...wait what?
NanoViricides Reports that it is Evaluating Purchase of the New Facility and cGMP Pilot Production Plant instead of a Lease
WEST HAVEN, CONNECTICUT -- Thursday, February 20th, 2014 -- NanoViricides, Inc. (NYSE MKT: NNVC) reported today that construction of the modern R&D Lab and cGMP Clinical Production facility in Shelton, CT, is nearing completion with some weather-related delays.
Why don't you call your buddies at the SEC and see if this would qualify as 'material non-public' information pertinent to the stock price...doubt it
Go short on that and I'll go long we'll see which one works out
Significant net increase in institutional ownership as of 3/31...
We'll see how that plays out over next 6 months.
went all in pre-market, must be why we're up 9 pennies or ~3%. Some detractors called 3% a crash so is this a run???
But really why would I go 'all-in' on a stock I think is high risk/high-reward?
This is a piece of a portfolio but nowhere close to all in. I am long and strong until something fundamentally changes. That's why a 3% 'crash' or bump or even a 10% 'crash' or bump does not phase me. Plus I am still comfortably up and if we have a dip and nothing has changed fundamentally I will BTFD.
Astute observation Arch.
Any estimates on duration or heading into general bear for next months...years?
Giddy speculation here is going to effect the end result?
This is a high risk speculative stock. Some of your concerns have been addressed within the Risk section of the 10k.
Our company is a development stage company that has no products approved for commercial sale, never generated any revenues and may never achieve revenues or profitability.
Because we are subject to these risks, you may have a difficult time evaluating our business and your investment in our company.
We will need to raise substantial additional capital in the future to fund our operations and we may be unable to raise such funds when needed and on acceptable terms.
We have limited experience in drug development and may not be able to successfully develop any drugs.
Development of pharmaceutical products is a time-consuming process, subject to a number of factors, many of which are outside of our control. Consequently, we can provide no assurance of the successful and timely development of new drugs.
We can provide no assurance that our drug candidates will obtain regulatory approval or that the results of clinical studies will be favorable.
Our collaborative relationships with third parties could cause us to expend significant resources and incur substantial business risk with no assurance of financial return.
...and those are just some displayed within the 10-k. Since you're the wary adult here with all the giddy school children in mind I assume you are just concerned with some of the risks and the potential that the risks are actually playing themselves out in front of our very noses. But no reason to continually cry over spilled milk of missed/moved deadlines, management communication, management________,....
Yes I am a long but not a 'pumper'. Been waiting for plenty of years to even see Tox but I think it will happen soon. Even then we are not out of the woods.
If you think this company is a joke, has poor management/deliverables, will not go into tox /human clinicals then GTHO. No reason to stick around any longer. Take your money and run. Cause if it is this 'sled' goes to 0....or even better go short.
And vanguard added 621k shares crushing the 'sold out'of those two which combined for roughly 47k shares...
The ways those preconceptions and opinions are bandied about I'd think some would be willing to take a shot at a solid short here.
Calls for 3,2,1, 0 are made with such frequency and surety I almost think this would be a no-risk take it to the bank short.
If you know this thing is scam going to 0 just go all in. Nothing to lose if you know.
But I don't know. I think its going the other direction, sooner than later and see quite a lot of risk shorting here.
What kind of NDAs/non-compete/ IP protection will there be?
Looking for humans. Veterinary use is excellent and in this case can be preventive medicine however, hope to see sufficient IP protection.
Published reports?
Do you mean the hit piece on SA?
That blog post was 99.99999% trash.
Tox coming.
Lab coming online.
Appointed independent BOD
Serious clinical and research organizations, and medical doctors collaborating.
Flu,Dengue,MERS, HSV, etc.
This stock still has inherent risk, is speculative high/risk high reward in nature.
We'll see whose 'independent' research is more worthy soon enough.
What's the yellow 1 with stars next to the post count under the moderators?
You take a position in NNVC yet?
Long, short, option hedge?
Somebody's making out like a bandi with jbii....
The shame is people actually invested in this dump.
So .15 hit....
Whats tomorrow bring two dimes and a nickle or closer again to a dime?
The trash is being taken out.
Got anything to prove the point asides from a half-cocked article from an 'anonymous' author?
Or more lawsuits that have been repeatedly dismmised from multiple juridictions?
Or out-dated research?
Or expert opinions from a journal lacking basic fundamental analysis or research?
Anymore animal rights posts masquerading as evidence for bio-medical research?
There is no risk free investment.
Long, short, options on NNVC all carry unique risks.
Thanks though...
I'm not the one posting links that advocate the end of using animals for testing in biomedical research.
NNVC has to proceed with toxicity testing in animals prior to human clinical testing.
I agree it is unfortunate that NNVC cannot just test in humans.
Time, money, and resources devoted to these experiments could have gone to human-based research. Clinical studies, in vitro research, autopsies, post-marketing drug surveillance, computer modeling, epidemiology, and genetic research pose no hazard to humans and provide accurate results. Importantly, animal experiments have exhausted resources that could have been dedicated to educating the public about health hazards and health maintenance, therein diminishing the incidence of disease that require treatment.
That's the whole point of that link. However that is not in line with current FDA protocols. Total nonsensenical argument and a non-sequitur
The link you posted supports the end of animal testing. However, in the current regulatory environment that is not possible.
'96 is ancient history in biomedical research...
Here's something from this century
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3063653/
HIVcide has been on the back burner for a while.
Way to link HIV research to flucide though..
More nonsense.
Point out many antivirals that have skipped toxicity testing and gone straight to human clinical testing in the modern era.
It's not a comparison. It's a hypothesis the very basis of the scientific method.
NNVC's viricides are agnostic to the host. No vaccine is.Vaccines create a biological responds withing the body to prevent an infection. The viricide eliminates infection.
Different intention and effect.
Comparing antivirals to vaccines is apples to oranges. Different biological mechanisms and intention.
Vaccines are completely different than anti-virals. Different, yet, interesting ballgame.
To who?
I highly doubt it...
I bet they file for an extension soon enough.
We might hear something in June...fingers crossed its good news for legitimate longs, but things look bleak ATM.
At least he's ethical.../sarc off
JB's not still permitted to run the show here amIright???
Barely hanging onto .17 here. Wonder who's buying at these levels?
What's coming first 0 or a quarter? Too bad I cannot buy puts on this dump. Otherwise it might be worth 'investing' here...at least I could hedge a position in some trash shares...
I don't 3 will last much longer and on that part we agree. I think we disagree on which direction the price is actually heading.
Having some fun on the level two. Anybody with visibility wanna guess which stink sell order is mine?
