My mistake, you are correct. I was thinking of the PR in early October when Baltia was accepted into the FAA's SMS program. The SAI submittal wasn't a formal PR that hit the wire.

Delta, I do understand your frustration. I know you and a handful of other investors would love to see some PR regarding the FAA progress.
Frankly, it's not going to happen. Over the last couple years, it's clear to see that Baltia is not in the business of running fluffy PR. Each PR that did occur was to let investors know that the major accomplishment had been completed. Also, minor steps have occasionally been released when things like fuel, office and finance agreements are initiated or completed.
The release that the manuals were submitted to the FAA occurred. We won't get another release until this most important accomplishment has been met.
I know I sound like a broken record here but... Investor Relations at Baltia is more than eager to discuss allowable information regarding the company's progress toward certification.

Keep in mind there is a whole lot invested at the Private Placement cost of .035... There's more support there than most may realize. There's no need to worry about the bottom falling out during this waiting period. If you see a quote below that during intraday trading, it's probably just MM manipulation. Again, my opinions.
E
Thanks, Emit. I was waiting for your opinion on that.

My hunch is there may be some misinterpretation regarding that filing. When someone closely involved with Baltia either receives payment in the form of restricted stock or purchases units of stock via Private Placement, a Rule 144 must be completed to have the restriction removed for future sale. Depending on how the questions are answerred, that may trigger a public filing to let all investors know that someone (an affiliate, employee or contractor paid in restricted stock) is positioning some or all of their shares to be sold at will... Not necessarily the date listed on the filing. That would just be the first date of eligibility to sell. I highly doubt we will be seeing volume of 3MM on that day unless a tremendous PR is released around that time to create an environment for that kind of volume.
Basically I just think that the 6 month restriction has been met and the company or affiliate that was paid in those shares filed a 144 to have the restriction removed that would make them eligible to sell... Maybe one of our more savvy investors here can shed some light on the Rule 144 and if this is the probable cause for that filing to appear.
I speak with Baltia pretty much on a weekly basis so take this for what it's worth... Just my opinion here regarding company morale.
Confidence at the workplace is at an all-time high. Talk about enthusiasm, excitement and anticipation... It's very clear in their tone and attitude that we are in line for fruition on a very near horizon.
There are no sour faces, frustration, or feeling of eminent doom because of an FAA timeline as some on this board seem to feel. There is no fear of losing financing or running out of money. There is absolutely ZERO of this sitting around playing games nonsense waiting for FAA to stamp the manuals. In fact, there are many other tasks at hand that are being executed daily for these final steps that don't pertain to the manuals.
For anyone involved long-term, I'd feel very sorry for you to jump ship at this stage barring some type of family emergency.
Again, just my opinion here.
You should probably add more... I have a feeling the European Village hub is opening soon. I will be there again this weekend to check progress. I'll provide you with an update and maybe a few pictures. Let's just hope that loan comes through for a nice PR.
GLTA
Thanks!... I will definitely do that. It's unfortunate that new users to this board would still be exposed to that rubbish without knowing to 'ignore' said user. Making a rank on the breakout board is definitely not worth that type of exposure. I'd much rather remain under the radar than for new users to read unsubstantiated nonsense from users that have performed next to zero DD.
Hmm... That is VERY interesting.
Thank you!
Hey Lieutenant, where do you see the #6 spot? I can't find that. That probably couldn't have come at a better time... I hope it lasts there a while since we should see some information forthcoming.
E
Thought I'd add this link on here for any Facebook users that are new to this board...
http://www.facebook.com/baltia.airlines
Good idea to post that... I've been watching it like a hawk. I think we're about to have a very interesting February.
Yes, I agree!
Good luck to you! If you don't mind me asking, how did you stumble upon this stock?
Extremely! Welcome aboard.
Ohhhh...Because late or amended SEC filings have everything to do with how quickly the FAA approves the manuals. I forgot. Haha (Insert sarcasm)
"If the video looks fake to shareholders, what do you think it looks like to prospective shareholders, you 'expletive removed'?"
In response to Abimbola's quote above from post 11463 (that is highly likely to be deleted)...
The video was taken as part of a forthcoming documentary on Baltia and also a nice gift to show existing private placement holders... to visualize this milestone.
Baltia's prospective investors don't rely on an uber-crisp video of the plane taking off to make an investment. Serious investors will rely on information from Baltia management, SEC filings and often times visiting the facility at JFK before choosing to invest in Baltia's private placement.
"I spoke to a friend who is a computer design major and creates websites/videos for large companies also agreed with me."
This is like asking a Blackjack player to teach me how to play Texas Holdem. I might as well just give my money away.
Do you really rely on a web designer to help you determine whether or not a video is fake? Do they teach this when you major in "Computer Design?"
Unless you are a professional photographer with some intense technical training, perhaps one who's taken high resolution video from a helicopter yourself, you most likely would never know whether or not a video this crisp is fake.
Your comments about Baltia are always welcome here but please be advised, there are some very serious investors on this message board. Apparently to some, we're known as the "Good Ole Boys Club." I guess there's no minimum age requirement because I'm 35 years old. So when you post anything that shows a lack of due diligence, you are going to hear it from quite a majority.

If I had to guess, some may have gotten in at .07-.08 cents per share a bit over a year ago with expectations of big things being right around the corner... thinking it was a quick flip type of stock. Perhaps they cut their losses but check back in from time to time with obvious lingering bitterness.
I also think others may be shorting the stock and bring their negativity to the board in effort create some selloff.
Those are just the ideas that have crossed my mind since I joined ihub last year.
I wish there was a "Like" button on here.
Hey Lieutenant... Have you tried contacting them to ask those questions? They are all good questions and I'm sure some of them can be answered. I just doubt that someone at Baltia will check into this board and provide that information to everyone. That kind of detail would only be provided by Investor Relations at Baltia... assuming it is acceptable to discuss by SEC guidelines.
Wow. Let's not forget that we are in the home stretch, whether it be this month or next for these manuals to be approved. Baltia owes no further explanation at this point other than what they carefully choose to list in their steps to completion.
Do you honestly believe that they need to release a PR statement stating "We are in a holding pattern until we have final approval from the FAA for our manuals"... or worse, provide confidential information from the FAA about their progress???
It's true, that it may have been a poor choice of words that someone chose to relay on this board about the "popping corks" comment... But the fact is Baltia would never jeopardize or compromise their efforts that have been put forth thus far by releasing information deemed by the FAA or SEC as inappropriate or confidential.
The last thing I want is for Baltia to tell everyone "The FAA told us we will have our manuals approved by "insert date" so the SEC can shut trading down of BLTA. Then what would you all be saying?... I'm curious to know.
If you need reassurance about your investment, try picking up the phone and calling them... or better yet, make an appointment and fly to JFK and take a tour of their facility.
Once upon a time... A guy left his Corvette in the garage for about 30 years. When he finally did take it out, he sold it for a 13 fold.
I think I'm going to pick up a small chunk of that with another certificate purchase here pretty soon. :)
I agree... it wasn't bashing at all. All opinions are welcome! Don't go back to the cave, Starchaser. But I have to say... I do stand by my definition from the other post that got deleted last week. :)
E
hahaha... Star, I meant they would probably delete my posts, not yours. Your post was perfectly acceptable. I have a history of deleted posts so I was just making a joke. Your post was fine by the moderator I'm sure. It was fine by me as well. I really just meant to be funny. You are entitled to voice your concerns here about the stock. I like reading everyone's thoughts and opinions. Stay out of the cave and stick around. My apologies.
E
Actually... if you apply downward pressure to the pot it will boil faster.
Deepspringer and Lieutenant...
In addition to all the Baltia information, updates and insight you guys provide on this board as well as your positive attitudes, I just wanted to say thank you to both of you once again for all the legwork involved in posts 10450 and 10510. You have made it a very smooth process for me and I really appreciate that.
After an hour or two of phone calls and being transferred a dozen times in August, Fidelity told me that DWAC was the only way to transfer BLTA shares to my account but I had no clue how to initiate that (apparently they didn't either) until you guys had posted the details and correct contact info.
Thanks again!
E
Baltia Air Lines... I'm all in.
Looks like one of two things to me.
Either some crooked market making going on...
OR
Some genius decided to put a market order to sell his position that apparently covered down to .03.
One man's trash is now another man's treasure. Congratulations to whoever picked up the .03's. I wish I could say it was me!
Yes. Cost went up I guess. I remember reading that it was $40 for a DWAC in one of the prior posts.
DWAC update...
Restriction removal is $50 and DWAC is now $80 per certificate.
In case anyone missed post 47469...
Get in now while it's cheap... because O2 is apparently almost ready to open by the looks of this picture. Some of you may have seen this already as I'm not a regular on the OTOW board... but this came out in the Palm Coast Observer on October 27th:
http://www.palmcoastobserver.com/news/palm-coast/Front-Page/102720112427/O2-plans-European-Village-opening
I live about 25 minutes from here and plan on riding up to see the location in the next few days. Maybe I can take a few pictures and upload them on here. Good luck O2!
Yes... European Village is definitely the most happening place in Palm Coast. Lots of traffic... especially Wednesday-Sunday. Actually Palm Coast ranked #1 in the Census Bureau's Fastest Growing Metro Areas in the ENTIRE country from 2000-2010. The population pretty much doubled in the last decade although growth has slowed a bit since the housing crisis. Shocker I know.
Here's the article on it.
http://money.cnn.com/galleries/2011/real_estate/1103/gallery.Fastest_growing_metro_areas/index.html
For the record... European Village has one of the best italian restaurants around. I'd imagine 6 months after O2 opens they will need a bigger space to house the 40 overweight employees.

Please do some research before you post on this board...
>>>"Nope. That was the case some 20 years ago, but those flights are long gone. Even code-sharing with Air France through Paris is not active anymore. "
Delta codeshares with KLM Royal Dutch since 2006 to many Eastern European destinations and added LED Pulkovo in 2009 which provides the connection through Amsterdam.
If you'd take 2 minutes to plug a flight into delta.com, you'd see the codeshare to that destination.
