Everything you ever wanted to know about ACTC.
http://investorstemcell.com/forum/sitemap/f-77.html
You can go through this list and pick out whatever
your little heart desires for news... Lol
15 pages.
Sinking ships are in file 13.
E-cat and everyone else on the board.
I read the ACTC posts on yahoo and googled one of them and
couldn't corroborate anything that was said and didn't want
to spend any more time checking on it as I had the UK article
that I wanted to post and forward on to friends.
What I was thinking that just in case someone wanted to take
advantage of the article and do some trades (purchase of shares)
I wanted to get it done before market close.
So I rushed through with the three posts and got onto email to friends, so that anyone who wanted to, could take advantage of the news.
So again my apologies for not spending more time checking on
the posts.. but I am sure you understand.
And funny no one spent any time checking and posting about them
on the MB.
I found my crystal ball for predictions on ACTC
If there are(probably will be) follow up articles, I don't
see how this could be going down... seems the right direction
would be to go up...
and then there is NEJM also maybe it will have something
in it about this..It certainly is worthy.

from yahoo board....
change my mind again.... this is remarkable news
especially since I have kidney disease.
And here is another post with Dr. Lanza
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-97207/Kidney-breakthrough-end-need-donors.html
interesting read on the patent. I didn't realize that in
the medical field that a notice to leave the company was done
on an application for a patent. That must be what it must be
like for "captains of sinking ships" and misreading the notice
for an SOS signal.
In the real world, where patents are filed, would indicate to me
that Dr. Lanza has no intention of leaving the company.
Seems the "captain" of our ship "S.S. ACTC" is in good hands and
it is full speed ahead. Also seems to me that the captain
of the sinking ship is nowhere to be found. He got off at
the first sign that the ship was in trouble that would seem
like it would be when the first patent was filed.
Our Captain was/is involved in several patents -
METHODS OF TREATING MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY
Next Patent:
TREATMENT OF RADIATION INJURY USING AMNION DERIVED ADHERENT CELLS
only to name a few.
This is the ship that I would prefer to sail on. Not the rudderless ship without a captain. No wonder that ship is sinking.
It doesn't have any direction and has no idea where it is going.
I have a suggestion for any and all passengers - get off that
sinking ship before it is gone.
And if possible get on board the "S.S. ACTC", because we are
going places.
I somehow never get that sinking feeling when discussing our
ship "S. S. ACTC" with our illustrious captain Dr. Lanza.
And a word of caution. It is never ONE cockroach that is
causing the sinking ship. There may be others.
More on dedication of employees.
Why I am on a roll with this tonight.
I mentioned once before that I have a friend who has MacD.
He served in the AirForce protecting our country. Gradually
his eyesight began to fail and it got to the stage that his
driving ended. So his wife became the family chauffer. Now
you have to consider his other health issues, e.g. prostate
cancer. Now not being able to drive to veterans hospital/doctor
his wife had to drop everything so that she could drive him to
the doctor's office for treatments (radiation).
His situation is what I am thinking about with ACTC. I have
mentioned the company to him, but his comments are that he has
been there before and treated before and NOTHING worked.
But I said to him this looks promising and I am hoping that
there is a cure for this. And again anyone that would wish
that the cure doesn't work or that something goes wrong with
the procedures has to be one sick individual. Here is a family
man, not able to see properly, cant drive and has to rely on
his wife or other family member to get him to any meetings he
has to get to. He gave up part of his life for the protection
of each and every one of us. And to not do something for him
I find absolutely abhorrent.
E-cat and to mention that the increase in number of employees
isn't about secretarial or janitorial employees (nothing wrong
with that). But from what I gather, these people are more or
less like Dr Lanza and are devoted to the health issues at hand.
I cant imagine these people being interviewed and not saying that
they aren't interested in the science. That is probably what
attracted them to the company in the first place. And with
that they bring new knowledge to the procedures. Good luck to
all of them and hope that they come up with ideas that contribute
to the methods that will give sight to those that cant see.
What drove me to this company is the dedication of Dr. Lanza.
And with that, I think that is the types of people that are
attracted to the company.
Speaking of dedication, I look at the list of posts and someone
is so dedicated in posting nonsense about this company and
the work that Dr. Lanza is doing that there are 7 posts in a
row that have been deleted. I don't have to check to see what
has happened there as I think I know as none of them show up
with my IGNORE function working.
Such dedication would be better served in helping mankind
not destroying it.
I agree with you Ecat that it is a positive sign
and I am glad you qualified that with rational thinking.
I would think that my thinking about the company is
positive and an indication is that I bot more last week
and continue to add to my holdings of ACTC. On my way
to hold, accumulate promising shares of this company that
is led by a potential Nobel prize laureate in Dr. Lanza.
Just read some of his works that he describes what they are
working on. And best of all I think he wants to see people who
are blind to be able to see.
Our Lord works in mysterious ways...
"Kindness is the language the blind can see and the deaf can hear." - Mark Twain
However, that kindness seems to be lost when someone with
irrational thinking continues to post sinking ships for
whatever reason.
My kindness is to contribute to this company so that it is
successful in curing even one person's blindness. As I stated
before, my wife's mother had MacD and it runs in the family.
I would give up all my shares in ACTC to see that my wife
doesn't get MacD. Horrible disease. I posted eye problem
site from WebMD. Everyone should take a look at the site and
learn from it about different eye diseases. In particular
look at what it is like to have Macular Degeneration.
And just on the chance she would get it at least we are on the right track to finding a cure for it. The other thing with MacD
is that we are all able to get it and to prevent the possibility
of a cure should be criminal.
I wouldn't wish the disease on anyone.
To let you know what it is like. When her mother wanted to
watch something on TV she would have to look way to the right
of where the TV set was. She would have to look to the TV set
kind of like half closed eyes and if looking through a slit
where she could see something on the TV set and even then it
was blurred. Nothing helped. She had all sorts of glasses
prescribed and it just complicated things. Try and find
where she left the specialty glasses, etc.
E Cat what do you consider as the
"pretty near future"...could it still be this month?
April or as someone said might be in May?
That really doesn't say to much especially when I am waiting
for NEJM article to suddenly appear and there isn't anything
happening. Oh darn where can I find a picture of a sinking
ship.
I still have 30k shares+ to reach my goal of 250k. Might
even happen this week.
Then I have to reset my goal for higher amount.
Why not just assume that the Board (being scientific background)
weren't aware of the rules governing buying/selling securities.
Maybe even GR didn't know or forgot, or was tied up with his
divorce and children (big loss). I myself don't hold him totally
responsible, when your personal life is going nowhere fast.
I give him the benefit of the doubt. I have a neighbor who
is just going through it with two little ones. Made a complete
mess of his life. Had to sell their house, move back with
parents etc. etc. etc.
and someone learned a new catchy phrase today...care to give
a definition so I don't have to google it.
apparent illegal malfesance (and check spelling) thanks. it is
enough that I have to check for sinking ships.
Eye sight problems and just think some if not all of these
might be cured with the work that ACTC is doing.
I already stated that having known 2 people with MacD that
is the main reason for investing in this company. If we should
happen to make some money doing so - is like extra icing on the
cake.

I didn't know that you turned so positive about the company.
Yes, that is what I have been thinking all along as I added
to my holdings of ACTC...I added another 20k last week and
was kind of hoping that the sinking ships would continue for
just a couple of weeks more, so that I could get those extra
shares at about $.080. I am look at the price today and to me
it looks like it is the wick burning that will make this explode.
I just wonder if the NEJM puts out the article about ACTC this
week and will also include the news from UK (last week).
Someone bot 500k shares last week at $0.0825 and spoiled my
purchase. Someone here even more bullish than me about this.
There's NO BONES about it being made up but it sure
is eye-catching... Lol.
Wish I had a Dino bone to sell. I just have my usual
pork rib bones from last week. Wouldn't even by a couple of
shares.

Research and Markets: Global Cell Therapy Market & Pipeline Insight Research Report
Published: Tuesday, 4 Mar 2014 | 5:30 AM ET
DUBLIN--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Research and Markets (http://www.researchandmarkets.com/research/sqw5h6/global_cell) has announced the addition of the "Global Cell Therapy Market & Pipeline Insight" report to their offering.
Research in cell therapy is transforming the future of medicine. As the life of a human being begins as a cell, these cells undergo a highly complex set of events and finally those few stems become capable of self-renewal and differentiation and develop into the specialized cells in the body. Cell therapy research also offers significant potential for restructuring the method of medical practice.
Over the past 3-5 years, a more complex therapeutic modality has been is emerging as cell therapies which have been developed to treat diseases which are not amenable to treatment with more classical pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical products. This market offers the promise of successfully regenerating damaged tissues and organs in the body by replacing the damaged tissue and/or by stimulating the body's own repair mechanisms to heal previously irreparable tissues. With their rising popularity, these therapies are becoming more cost effective and efficient.
The global market for cell therapy was valued at close to USD 2.5 Billion in 2012. With continuous advances and developments in this field of medicine, the global cell therapy market is expected to grow at a high rate of 20-22% to reach approximately USD 8 Billion by 2018. Several products and technologies of cell-based therapies are in the R&D pipeline are expected to enter the market during the forecast period, thus resulting in an increased growth rate.
It is most likely that the new improved technologies would revolutionize the area of bio-pharma and personalized medicine. Development of sophisticated automation devices for cell expansion and culture process for use in the treatment is one of the emerging trends of ACT market.
With the cell-based therapies growing by leaps and bounds, it is expected that the future years would witness significant advancements in technology in the cell therapy market. Increasing incidence of diseases along with lack of adequate effective treatment for these diseases is most likely to drive the cell therapy technology in developed and developing nations. Among the emerging trends of the global market, the most prominent one is the development of sophisticated automation devices for cell expansion and culture process which could be used in the treatment of life threatening diseases.

Keywest in case you haven't been reading the posts here.
Dr. Lanza is ACTC. I guess it must be hard for you to
understand these simple things.
There are times when research for the good of mankind, is
more important than the dollars associated with it.
I think you have been looking at too many pictures of
sinking ships.
Yes but will that prevent a sinking ship... Lol
Just kidding of course Mariam and happy to see your posting
with some knowledge of what is going on. It is much appreciated.
I for one am looking forward to more of your knowledgeable posts.
You may have to expand on some of what you post for some of us
illiterates.

would be nice to even SEE a sinking ship.
Hey E..cat...I took your excellent advice and bot more today.
Just got filled 10k @.07 Thanks. I appreciate all your comments
and for keeping me up-to-date on everything.
And.... guess what this doesn't come with any life jackets,
or life preservers.
And the other information offered... As good news as like news about the Titanic. Should try and keep up with current news not
old stuff that has no bearing on the pps.
And lasers thanks for all you post. much appreciated.
And Marian III welcome and I am sure you know who to follow
and who to put into file 13. Lol...
special welcome for someone in the medical field who has some
understanding about what is going on here.
Farview... I have already "abandoned ship" not the stock
but iHub - ACTC. Gone on to investorstemcell and other boards
to avoid this. My feeling about this is he tests my intelligence
and I instead bot more of the stock last week doing my own DD.
pictures of sinking ships is not my idea of any part of DD.
The interruption of reading posts by clicking on "NEXT" is
spoiled.
And if this is his purpose... than "mission accomplished".
GTA with ACTC as news is forthcoming.
Dr. Regilio speaking at a BC conference tomorrow than the next big one where a UK SMD patient is speaking will be on March 5, 2014 Donacster, UK

The event is taking place in the town (well, just outside) Doncaster, at the "Mount Pleasant Hotel".

Did everyone notice how many lifeboats on "The Allure of the Seas"
for everyone who is thinking of "abandoning ship". That should
pretty well cover just about everyone, here.

'ste mcellin vestor'
For those really interested in information you might want to try 'ste mcellin vestor' . There is an excellent interview with matt where many of the questions that come up here are answered. I am still very bullish. You can read the detail but here are some tidbits 1) ACTC is not in a quiet period , 2) published results will come a bit later rather than sooner, 3) phase 2 still in the design stage, 4) new CEO will most likely not be named in next 2 months, 5) not sure if Top Line Data or first capital rise will come first. 5 pages of questions and answers - go and read the entire interview.
from another MB...
eCat over the years we have made contributions to any number
of charities, Heart disease, kidney disease, children's diseases
and I think you know what I am referring to.
If I consider buying ACTC shares I don't even consider a loss
(which might happen) but it is a contribution to the discovery
of a cure for eye diseases and others. What better way
to make a contribution that could pay back in many more
ways than just a monetary one.
This is the best way to do for mankind that Dr. Lanza is
already doing.
I think it is the largest cruise ship in the world.
I was thinking that all of the ACTC holders of stock could
have a celebration on it once the price of stock gives us
a reasonable return. Wouldn't it be something to be able
to have "cured" people on the celebration cruise along with
us shareholders who helped make it possible.
You can google the name of the ship and there is a lot of
information about it.
In previous post I mentioned that I have a friend who has
MacD. He and his wife love going on cruises and this is one
that they think they will go on this summer.
glty
One of the main reasons for buying this stock was I know/knew
two people with MacD - a horrible disease that progresses to
the point that you are considered legally blind and cant drive.
The other main reason as I look out at what ACTC is doing -
is with all the people in the world that are suffering with
this ailment with no known cures. I would think that there
is a possibility that I might fall into that same category.
Not very unlikely when there are millions of people with
eye problems. I am hoping that they find this cure that
helps millions around the world, before me or my wife (whose
mother had MacD and it is considered to be hereditary), so
that we don't have to go through what they went through without
eyesight.
What a beautiful world it is. Just look around you and take in
all the beauty. Your wife, your children, flowers scenic locations etc. What a shame it would be to lose your eyesight
and be unable to see everything around you. And look at my
favorite vessel that I hope to one day travel on.
I pray every day that my wife is not affected by this.
