We're running! Where's the news?
Wow, where's the sudden buying coming from?
Folks - If you feel like your position is being diluted, so be it. Maybe it is. But that is in preparation for the big show, IMO. Hang on, buy more if you can. Cause we ain't seen nothin' yet. Get ready for a nice move. This recent activity is not for naught. All JMHO, of course! mjam
W2P - I don't have a premium subscription, so I can't reply privately. But I very much appreciate what details and insights you provide. Thanks! mjam
Maybe I'll ante up for the private reply capability. Your work is SO GOOD!
DougS - that's just it. I don't know they weren't pooled blocks. I just see them going through on L2 at intervals. Good point.
DougS - you don't see any significance in the multi 100k blocks as high as 400k at the bid? I'm not a technical type. tia mjam
Resilience - We got pounded by someone(s) wanting out or needing about $250k today. I don't know if it were DNAP or some larger individual investors or what, but incredibly we only went down by what looks like around 5%. Granted we've lost more than that over the week but not with the tempo we had today. Some relatively large blocks went through.
The way I understand it, with each sell there is either a buy or a mm collecting shares to sell later at hopefully a higher price. Which was it today?
All said and done and we still are in the 6's. Now that shows resilience, IMO.
The pps should be tanking with this kind of volume on the bid. But the ask just went up. Something is up. Any news out there?
bignbullish - that is a standard statement used due to accounting principles and is found in most quarterly reports. It has been in every one of DNAP's quarterlies. NO BIG DEAL.
ming, et.al. - I haven't read it all yet but I see no real surprises. I agree with your recap of salient issues and explanations. Unfortunately the bashers will use this ratio of revenues to expenses as today's mantra to try and drive down the pps.
Tony said we were burning at 2x - 3x the million dollar projection for forensics. Revenues will be increasing while the expenses will not significantly rise from the current rate due to the "cash bonuses" being paid during THIS quarter. All of this correlates to what Tony has stated. The ratio will come back in to line.
We're on track and doing what needs to be done. Any downward pressure is temporary and due to the continued manipulation that is part of this world we trade in.
I think the after hours below market activity goes back further than 8/8. Perhaps it is also at a constant % of closing price such as 95%?
staddek, I've got tomorrow by 5PM
bignbullish - we have a history of taking the automatic extension on posting the Q. Don't be disappointed if we do. Not saying we will as we have new bosses and most likely better processes in place. But it won't impact the quality of the report if we're late. IMO we'll get it BY 5PM tomorrow.
O.K. Long Haul 007 - Here's my pump. I smell some afternoon delight. A little run back to the 8's or low 9's. Here it comes!
Arch, catching up and caught your post from Tony. You did the right thing posting the actual email soliciting DNA samples. But you ruined your image! Now folks know that you actually have a relationship with Tony. Think some of the personal attacks against you will stop? nah! Great job as always. I appreciate you. mjam
W2P - Saw your post and link to the full TWST interview with Tony. Immediately bought it and just finished reading it. It was eerily "deja blue all over again". No wonder Tony shared as much with us in Texas. He had already said it to TWST.
If folks don't get the picture now, they won't ever. Talk about having gotten out in front of the pack with a cutting edge company, science and visionary! Little did we know 3 years ago. And the pps is still cheaper for some folks.
"People tend to be cowards when it comes to investing. They invest in financial strength even though it is low return."
"... it is not going to be a bunch of little changes that lead to DNAprint being a NASDAQ stock. It is going to be a couple of very dramatic changes."
artforlife - only on for a minute and caught your post. If no one else answered, Tony said between 2000 - 3000 after the last run.
Please, guys / gals. I agree with Angel. A phenomenal DD job is being done here. Always has been that way with the core group of investors / DD'ers since the pink sheets and we've added even more quality work over time and with the recent run up. But don't bother the company. I'd hate to think Tony would stop sitting with us in the future. I think he reads or has his people reading (and maybe posting here and on RB). PLEASE BE PATIENT. BIG THINGS ARE HAPPENING. TEMPER THE EXUBERANCE. I am guilty of contributing and will calm myself down.
Thanks for letting me vent. mjam
33% of this morning's volume came from one transaction at the bid. We still don't have any direction. I think several of us continue to buy or have orders in slightly below current pps (yes, I do). I don't know if we'll dip before we rise but the history of this stock says we will move up prior to the 14th. I won't wait much longer to pull the trigger as I hate to chase.
I don't want to forget to share with the "good guys and gals" over here. These are a couple of responses to folks I posted on RB a little while ago. Nothing new, just a couple of tidbits and recap...
-----------------------------------------------------------------
spook - I won't be able to hang for your response but I'll check back in the morning. I remember vaguely the break-even predictions for Q1 - was that Phil?
Anyway, I specifically asked Tony how much import he placed on being cash flow neutral or positive versus negative. He said even with the $1 million in forensics revenue (don't know if he's including other sources or whether they will be a separate line item) he was investing what equalled to a burn rate of 2x - 3x that to accomplish his goals. This included patent development and protection, by the way, as asked and anwered by my esteemed teammates.
He has no problems with the negative cash flow as this is characteristic of where we are in the development stages of a new company. He also said he has investors on the sidelines that could step in but he is not giving away any more of the company. This is the point where we discussed the strategy of becoming a drug company and the possible tactics that would lead us there. To me he is totally confident and comfortable where we are. We'll issue shares as necessary to maintain the $200k balance in the bank and wait for the plan to unfold.
If one does the math, and assumes annual revenues will be between $1MM and $2MM this year, a burn rate of 3x means he'll need to issue between 20 and 60 million shares at $.10. I'll take that any day. We save the remainder to make the drug thing happen...
Maybe not blockbuster headlines but cumulatively very big news IMO.
But then again, perhaps I was being schmoozed! lol mjam
-----------------------------------------------------------------
frog, I would say that in terms of little substantive news arising from our attendance at the forensic conference last week you might be looking at the glass as half empty.
We had no news worthy of a PR other than learning of the intention of our becoming a drug company. This was substantiated by publication the next day. To me this was big news because it solidified Tony's intention of pursuing "obscene revenue" versus relying on "proof of principle" and humane ventures such as forensics, Ovanome and Statnome.
We learned of a time frame of 1 - 3 years for big developments to come to fruition.
We learned that indeed further enhancements to the forensics line-up have taken and continue to take place. We have graduated from a 30 AIM test to a 1000 AIM test which is beneficial to geneology more so than drug response.
We learned that it was 10 times easier to develop drug response tests than forensics and that eye, hair, et. al. tests were in the 80% range of completion due to lack of standard definitions for "color" in the iris, etc... These issues are being worked on and are expected to be resolved next year.
We learned to expect $1 million in revenue this year from forensics, which again, to me is big news because as little as 6 months ago some on this board claimed we would have no revenue, ever. Now those will say $1 million is not enough, or that whatever the number is on the 14th is not enough because we were expecting $1 million.
IMO, Tony attended this conference and will be attending several more before the end of the year because we need the exposure for the company and to continue to build the forensics performance while waiting on the drug company plan to unfold. He did not attend because it was a news making opportunity.
This also begs the question: What if Tony HAD announced "other" cases in progress (which he did say there are more announcements that will be bigger than the LA case) or that additional features had been added to the forensic products? IMO this would not have near the impact that our becoming a drug company should have.
We can tool along with soon to be $10's of million in revenue or we can go big with $400 - $500. I think I know which you prefer. mjam

Spaz - great news! I love the technical side when I read it from folks like you. I don't claim to understand it but can follow it when you explain it.
I've got some more funds available today and am increasing my position. Does your projection include any potential downturn(I'm being greedy) before we move toward and beyond the new support at 16? tia mjam
8bag - fyi, Tony said we have 2 or 3 thousand stockholders now after the run-up.
look at us Texas folks dominating the board again! I gotta go to lunch, keep it up!
grateful - excellent analogy! gave me goosebumps!
8bagger, I hope the big boys continue to ignore us. They'll be chasing us soon!
grateful - success in general... "obscene revenue" success... I took it to mean the time frame before we will be a drug company with a drug IN MARKET generating revenue... a drug matched with its accompanying response test that guarantees successful treatment... a statin or similar type?
He said both Ovanome and Statnome were "proof in principle" projects. The number of ovarian cancer patients is too small for a Taxol type drug to generate "obscene revenues", but DNAP will be saving the lives of some of the 30% of non-responders by letting them know to seek a different treatment instead of waiting to find out if the Taxol regimen is working, all the while the tumor is growing.
So I assume the "obscene revenues" will be generated by a Liptitor / statin class drug treatment with a much more common and widespread disease.
ooops, "please" - I must keep up correct spelling or ruin my image on RB...
novice, will you pleas quit buying shares? I won't have any more money until tomorrow, and I don't want to buy in the 8's!
novice - I absolutey got that feeling. I pulled in my wings a little bit from the criticism I received for "bragging" about my ability to read people. I think Tony gave us some very good hints, though. Remember when he stopped by us on his way to the car and I offered him a ride? During that conversation he told us that he had NEVER failed at anything to do with science. This was also when he cleared up the time frame on big things happening. He did NOT want us to think we had to wait 3 to 5 more years. That's when I said we already had 3 years under our belts, and he said those 3 years count!
Continuing in the vein of fertile imaginations, I wonder if some of our former employees of Indian nationality now work in the Malaysia company??? Helps explain the recent headcount fluctuations.
angel - I reviewed your posting history and see you are new to IHUB (DNAP). Are you new to DNAP? You are good and know quite a bit about our little company in a short period of time. I appreciate your efforts. You remind me of Work2Play and bag8ger and mingwan0 to name a few. Please keep up the good work. You give me good reason to check in here more often. mjam
angel - I, too, was relieved that the TWST publication was released actually before we met with Tony. After seeing it posted I felt much safer about what I was reporting. There is no doubt he knows what he is doing, and thinks about it well before he does it.
Miss Scarlet, I asked Tony out of curiosity how many stockholders of record we had now. I think as little as 18 months ago we had 700, which I found unbelieveable. He said we are now at 3 or 4 thousand. I think the last run up had a lot to do with it. Just think, we were big shareholders back then!
Miss Scarlet, no offense intended, mam. As a southerner myself I certainly appreciate a genuine sweet Georgia peach, true southern belle and one who gives people the benefit of the doubt. How did you come across DNAP back in the pink days, if I may ask?
yes mam, Miss Scarlet, if you are a mam... and I plan to double my investment within the next 2 weeks. Unfortunately I don't think I have enough time before the 10Q / 15th hits, but I will give it a college try.
So what the hellck am I doing saying good things about this stock? I think DNAP and Tony are a scam, and I looked Tony in the eye and could tell he was a liar, and I think tdiamonds and indyscent are very knowlegeable people and are right in their concerns about this scam, I mean company, and...
a joke, OK? please laugh with me, it's Saturday night and we're posting about a penny stock!
and I AM doubling my position next week!
angelfund - excellent post... thank you.
ustacud - I am so used to the cyncism on RB that I find it refreshing that some on IHUB are not aware of the true character of some of the posters that have made it over here. If I may offer, one can find the true bent of most of these posters by checking their history on RB. We have quite a club that has been built over the last 3 years. Most of the characters are established. It is amazing that they come over here to ply their trade. They are chasing the pack. They want to feast on the newbies or unaware by creating uncertainty and fear. They profit from trading the volatility. They may actually believe in the long term picture but want to profit from the inexperienced investor, and thus try to influence the short term pps by creating an atmosphere of a well meaning "devil's advocate". They speak with a forked tongue.
That said, Good Luck to Us All!
Miss Scarlet, I need not welcome you aboard then. I am glad to meet you. Anyone here since the pinks is a true believer! I'll never forget that run to .47 or .48 when all I had was $1000 invested and thought I was a genius...
Miss Scarlet, I'll let td speak for himself. He is very articulate and intelligent. I don't know how long you've been with us and I'm new to the IHUB. Some longs at RB suggested I come over here and share some posts. If you go to RB and look at td's posting history you'll see who and what he is. He got very angry at one point with Tony and DNAP. You'll see that if you choose to spend the time to read his posts. I'm 3 years long. You'll see that if you read my history, too.
Please continue to read everything to get a balanced perspective. But unfortunately td, IMO, paints the picture he wants with a gifted writing style. He uses well thought and logical arguments to create an image of a well intended devil's advocate, but there's more to it than that. He has an agenda, as we all do. Take the time to check him out. Maybe you'll see what I see.
hornsky - that was "stockholder's equity", not revenue, right? So maybe some accounting types can explain what kind of revenues and expenses and capital outlay and acquisitions might be occurring to lead to this position on the balance sheet.
